This research aims to develop a game software that can be used as an alternative means of learning media in Indonesian local culture for the community in the form of the game in the Android operating system. The methodology used in this study is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) sourced from Luther and has been modified by Sutopo, which consists of six stages, namely the concept, design, collection of material, manufacture, testing, and distribution. Testing applications that have been created using black-box method, which is carried out to check the functions contained in the application. The process of application testing is done by using a questionnaire. The testing is done objectively by asking ratings from users of the application. Therefore, the results of the study that were obtained using black-box method, indicates that the game is already working according to specifications needed to show test results for each application functions and buttons. And the results of the questionnaire data obtained by the average score of all ratings amounted to 84%. And it can be concluded that the applications made are well-qualified.

Golden Age is the time when a child's brain's ability to absorb information is very high. All information supplied will influence the child in later. Technology gives an effect on the progress of children. Computer technology can be a fun learning media and interseted for kid. Therefore, Fruvenimal application is developed as a learning media for introducing fruits, vegetables, and animals from the name, shape, sound, and vitamin via multimedia applications. Fruvenimal application is built using Construct 2. Multimedia aplication development used Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) which consists of six stages: concept, design, collection of material, manufacture, testing, and distribution /evaluation. For application testing method using the black box Test. Results from this study in the form of a multimedia application named Fruvenimal that can run on HTML5 browser. The application can be a learning media to introduce of fruits, vegetables, and animals for people, especially aged <8 so that kid from an early age is able to recognize the diversity of fruits, vegetables, and animals on earth.

The modern way of thinking cause traditional music instruments start to lose its enthusiasm. Today’s generation is more familiar with multimedia features presented by computers. Angklung which is one of the world heritage of musical instruments from Indonesian culture is the one that affected by the rapid technology development. Based on such situation, this research is conducted to design a mobile device application which introduces Angklung. The Application is implemented on a mobile device with Android Operating System. The method used in this research is Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). The evaluation of this application uses two parameters, the Black-box method, and questionnaire. Black-box method evaluation results showed that this application is running according to specification requirements. The result obtained from the questionnaire with Likert scale showed the average score from each question is 88%. So it can be concluded that the application gains positive feedback and has been qualified to be considered as good.Pola pikir yang dipandang modern membuat alat musik tradisional semakin kehilangan penggemar. Generasi muda lebih akrab dengan fitur multimedia yang disuguhkan oleh komputer. Angklung yang merupakan alat musik warisan dunia dari kebudayaan asli Indonesia menjadi salah satu yang terkena dampak dari perkembangan pesat teknologi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dilakukan penelitian untuk merancang sebuah aplikasi perangkat seluler untuk mengenalkan angklung. Aplikasi ini diimplementasikan pada perangkat seluler dengan sistem operasi Android. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Pengujian aplikasi menggunakan dua jenis parameter pengujian yaitu metode black-box dan kuesioner. Metode black-box menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi sudah berjalan sesuai spesifikasi kebutuhan begitu juga dengan tiap fungsi aplikasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari data kuesioner dengan implementasi skala likert yaitu sebesar 88%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi yang dibuat mendapat tanggapan positif dan telah memenuhi syarat untuk dianggap baik.

Young men nowadays have few interest with traditional art, including many kinds of Indonesia musical instruments. Compared with that traditional art, people are more familiar with multimedia application in computer devices. Based on those things, there is an idea to create a computer application to make famous Indonesia musical instruments by giving explanation and make a simulation. The application’s name is “Gandara”, a word from sanskrit language that means notes collection. “Gandara” uses MultiPoint Mouse SDK that makes the application to be able played by multiple users. The application is developed using Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) that consist of concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution. “Gandara” users can learn both of gamelan and angklung by reading the explanation or playing the simulation. With this applicaton, users don’t need to face gamelan and angklung directly when they want to exercise. All of “Gandara” functions can work well when tested with black-box method and got positif results when tested by users.

<p class="Abstrak">Dalam studi ini, kami mengembangkan aplikasi <em>virtual</em><em> </em><em>reality</em> untuk mempelajari tata surya di tingkat sekolah dasar. Tujuan pembuatan aplikasi ini untuk menyediakan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia bagi siswa agar dapat memahami konsep tata surya. <em>Multimedia Development Life Cycle</em><em> </em>(MDLC) adalah tahap pengembangan sistem yang digunakan untuk membangun aplikasi <em>virtual reality</em>. MDLC terdiri dari tahapan konsep manufaktur, desain, pengumpulan bahan, perakitan, pengujian, dan distribusi. Hasil tes penerimaan pengguna yang dilakukan oleh satu orang guru pengampu menunjukkan hasil 81,25%, sedangkan yang dilakukan oleh 26 siswa menunjukkan hasil 88,63%. Berdasarkan hasil tes penerimaan oleh guru diperoleh saran perbaikan aplikasi pada sisi interaktifitas pengguna. Evaluasi kepuasan pengguna terhadap aplikasi dilakukan dengan kuesioner berdasarkan empat elemen multimedia: teks, interaktivitas, animasi, dan gambar grafis. Hasil evaluasi penggunaan teks memiliki nilai 3,57, grafik bernilai 3,52, animasi bernilai 3,54, dan interaktivitas memiliki nilai 3,51. Berdasarkan hasil tes, dapat disimpulkan bahwa responden puas dengan penggunaan elemen multimedia pada aplikasi tersebut, dan aplikasi tersebut dapat membantu mereka untuk memahami topik pembelajaran lebih baik daripada metode pembelajaran dan pengajaran konvensional.</p><p class="Abstrak"> </p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p class="Abstract"><em>In this study, we developed a virtual reality application for learning the solar system at the elementary school. The purpose of making this application is to provide multimedia-based learning media for students to be able to understand the concept of the solar system. Multimedia Development Life Cycle is a development stage of the system used to build virtual reality applications. MDLC consists of stages of the manufacturing concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. Results of user acceptance test conducted by one teacher show the results of 81.25%, while that is done by 26 student shows the results of 88.63%. Based on the acceptance test results by the teacher, there are suggestions to improve the application on the user interactivity aspect. Evaluation of user satisfaction of the applications is done by a questionnaire based on the four elements of multimedia: text, interactivity, animation, and a graphical image. The result of the evaluation of the use of text has a value of 3.57, the graphic has a value of 3.52, animation has a value of 3.54, and interactivity has a value of 3.51. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the respondents are satisfied with the use of multimedia elements on the application, and the application can help them to understand the learning topic better than conventional methods of learning dan teaching.</em><strong></strong></p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p>

Istana Kadriah adalah Istana Kesultanan Pontianak yang dibangun pada tahun 1771 sampai 1778 masehi. Sebagai cikal-bakal lahirnya Kota Pontianak,  Istana Kadriah merupakan salah satu daya Tarik wisata di kota Pontianak yang banyak di kunjungi wisatawan dari dalam maupun luar daerah bahkan luar negeri. Istana Kadriah dijadikan museum yang dibuka untuk umum,dengan tujuan memberi kan pengetahuan sejarah pada generasi saat ini, maka dibutuhkan sebuah media untuk menyebarkan informasi kepada masyarakat dalam maupun luar Pontianak. Media informasi dapat meningkatkan daya tarik pengunjung agar berkunjung ke Istana Kadriah. Aplikasi virtual tour menggunakan voice guidance yang dikembangkan sehingga mampu memberikan informasi terkait kondisi tempat Istana Kadriah. Aplikasi dibangun berbasis website sehingga dapat diakses oleh semua orang.Tujuan dari aplikasi ini adalah untuk membantu pengunjung dalam memperoleh informasi mengenai tempat wisata di Istana Kadriah dan membangkit kan lagi wisata sejarah yang di kota Pontianak. Perancangan aplikasi ini menggunakan MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) yang terdiri dari 6 tahap, yaitu Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, dan Distribution. Aplikasi berjalan dengan baik dan bebas kesalahan berdasarkan pengujian black box, dan dinilai layak dengan hasil persentase 90,17% berdasarkan pengujian aspek usability. Tampilan aplikasi dapat ditampilkan dengan baik melalui desktop berdasarkan pengujian portability.  Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi ini layak diimplementasikan.

To maintain and preserve healthy teeth is very important to prevent damage inflicted due to ignore. The introduction for maintaining and preserving the healthy teeth since early seems necessary because the damage of teeth which allowed too long would be bad for children later. The introduction about healthy teeth care for children also can use the role of technology nowadays like multimedia. Based on those things, there is an idea to design and build a game application for helping that issue. Through this “Super Sigi” game, hopefully become an instrumentality of a healthy teeth care introduction especially of brushing the teeth for children. The “Super Sigi” game is made from Stencyl. Stencyl is a toolkit for creating 2D video games that will run on many different mobile and desktop devices. This game developed by the method of Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) that consists of concept, design, collecting material, assembly, and distribution. The result of this research is a “Super Sigi” game application that can be a utility for children containing an introduction about how to care the teeth. Based on the black-box testing, the whole function of the menu that is in the game has successfully and run according to each function.

Gunung Kidul is a tourism potential area, one of which is a beautiful beach. Among the beautiful beaches and tourism potential is Sadeng beach. One way to publicize tourism is presented in the form of Virtual tour, so in this study the theme is about the Virtual tour of Sadeng Beach. Virtual tour of Sadeng Beach is one of the media that can be used to help prospective tourists explain about tourist routes from Bukit Bintang to Sadeng Beach, public facilities that are traversed, and detailed information about attractions. The virtual tour of Sadeng Beach tour route uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method which consists of determining the concept, design, determining material or data, making, testing, and evaluating. Virtual tour application test results show that this application can be run with a minimum Core i3 specifications with 4GB RAM and Windows 7 (64 bit) operating system with 5 screen resolution options and 6 graphics quality options. User test results with 30 respondents and calculations using a Likert scale showed 75.83% of this application included in the category of very good in terms of mentioning the time and distance from the beginning to the end of the tour.

The development of Information and communication technology in this era has shown various result and thrive rapidly. One of the examples which can be observed in society especially on the rising generation is the using of the smartphone. The function of a smartphone is not only to send a message and give feedback on it but also to search for information. Moreover, the smartphone can be used to entertain people. A lack of the utilization of smartphone as a learning media for young generation becomes one of the problems that occur in this current globalization. The traditional musical instrument is one of the cultural heritage which is most of their connoisseur have decreased sharply. Based on that problem, we designed a simulation cellular application and introduce Sape as a traditional musical instrument with an android system for preserving the traditional musical instrument. This application will be served in a 2D form using engine game Construct 2. Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MLDC) is using as a method which contains concept, design, material collection, construction, verification, and distribution. This research used the waterfall process model as the design approach. This research is using black box method for application testing and using Likert Scale questionnaire as the data collection method. The black box method shows valid results and this application is already well functioned according to the required needs. Data collection from the questionnaire has obtained a result that equals 74.53%. It can be concluded that this application received a positive response and can help people to learn Sape’ musical instrument.

Indonesia is a nation that has a diversity of cultures and the arts, one of which is Javanese language. Javanese language is a heritage that should be preserved because it is still taught in schools and used in everyday life. The main book to learn Javanese language is Pepak Basa Jawa; a book that contains the essence of Javanese language. The rapid increase of technological development provides easiness for people, especially the pressence of gadgets. Therefore, the making of Pepak Basa Jawa in an application it needed to be a learning media to learn and conserve Javanese language for Indonesian people. The application is practically and attractively packed through iOS based mobile devices. Application Pepak Basa Jawa is built using MobiOne Studio software. Multimedia development method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) which consists of six stages: concept, design, collection of material, manufacture, testing, and distribution. The Black Box test is used for application testing method. The results of this study is in the form of an application named Pepak Basa Jawa that can run well on mobile devices based on iOS. This application can be an alternative for the people of Indonesia as a medium of learning in learning the Javanese language.

History teaching at school needs new methods to improve students' interest in learning history. This is because method that commonly used in schools is where students only listen to what teacher explained. The textbooks used usually only have few illustrations so that students are less interested and easily bored. Based on this problem, A Multimedia Learning Application was built and it is specifically made for Android devices. This application is expected to support the learning process at school. It was built using the Unity Engine. Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photohop also used to create application's design and illustrations to improve application's interface. Development method used for this application is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). This application was tested using the Black Box Test and the Beta Test. Results from Black Box testing is that all functions in this application has been running properly. Results obtained from Beta testing is that more than 75% of respondents gave positive responses to the application and it can be concluded that Multimedia Learning Application can be used to support the learning process at school.
