Background: The peripheral neuropathy is the cause of hospitalization for patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) and damages kidney function due to the circulatory system with high sugar levels. High sugar levels in DM patients with diabetic wounds can trigger glomerular damage resulting in the decrease of kidney function.Purpose: This study aims to analyze the relationship between the degree of diabetic wounds and kidney functions in patients with DM.Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 723 DM patients who experienced diabetic wounds in a hospital in Mojokerto, East Java, Indonesia. A purposive sampling technique was used to recruit the samples. The data of this study were medical records of diabetic patients. A simple linear regression test was employed to analyze the data. Results: The result showed that the degree of diabetic wound was significantly related to kidney function damage (p=0.000). The relationship between the degree of diabetic wounds and the decline in kidney function was shown by an R-squared value of 0.768, meaning that the degree of diabetic wound affected the decline of kidney function by 76.8%, while the 23.2% was affected by other factors. Conclusion:The degree of diabetic injury affects the decline of kidney function in DM patients by 76.8%. Nurses should do health promotion about controlling blood sugar levels in DM patients with the prevention of four pillars of diabetes, including education, nutrition, physical activity, and stress.

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease that has characteristics of high blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia), this can occur due to abnormalities in insulin secretion. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of hemoglobin levels with long suffering  Diabetes Mellitus patients.  This study used was correlational design with a cross sectional approach.  The population in this study were 225 people with a sample of 67 respondents with purposive sampling technique.  Data was collected by checking hemoglobin levels and Quesioner. The results showed that almost all respondents had normal hemoglobin levels and most of the respondents had  long history of suffering from Diabetes Mellitus for 5-10 years..  Data analysis used was the Rho Spearman test and can not found the relationship between hemoglobin levels and long suffering Diabetes Mellitus (p value = 0.565). History of suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, did not necessarily have low hemoglobin levels, because it can be noticed from other factors such as routine taking medication, diet, exercise, and lifestyle that can affect the condition of diabetes patients themselves.  Diabetes Mellitus patients need to maintain the blood sugar levels and hemoglobin levels with a healthy lifestyle, take the recommended diet, routinely consume drugs, and check blood sugar levels regularly.

AbstractDiabetic patients can sustain wounds either as a sequelae of their disease process or postoperatively. Wound healing is a complex process that proceeds through phases of inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. Diabetes results in several pathological changes that impair almost all of these healing processes. Diabetic wounds are often characterized by excessive inflammation and reduced angiogenesis. Due to these changes, diabetic patients are at a higher risk for postoperative wound healing complications. There is significant evidence in the literature that diabetic patients are at a higher risk for increased wound infections, wound dehiscence, and pathological scarring. Factors such as nutritional status and glycemic control also significantly influence diabetic wound outcomes. There are a variety of treatments available for addressing diabetic wounds.

In the current era of globalization, humans always interact with technological developments. One result of the development of technology is the use of computers. The use of computers that are not under the ergonomic position causes effects on health, one of them is tension-type headaches. In the United States, 1-4% of patients coming to the Emergency Care Unit complain of headache, 90% of them are tension-type headaches. The proportion of migraine and other headache syndromes in the hospital. Harapan Bunda in 2011 and RS. Camatha Sahidya in Batam in Batam was 5% and 0.7% respectively. Whereas the incidence of tension headaches in 5 puskesmas in Batam in 2014 ranged from 0.5% - 1.3%. The proportion of tension headaches at the BIP Clinic in the January-April 2018 period is 1.5%. Tension-type headaches that occur continuously can cause barriers to daily activities. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of computer use with the incidence of tension-type headaches in workers. This research uses a descriptive-analytic method with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Of 97 respondents who visited the clinical BIP that met the criteria, it was found that computer user respondents experienced tension-type headaches of 18 people (42.9%) and not tension-type headaches of 24 people (57.1%). Whereas the respondents who were not computer users experienced tension-type headaches of 10 people (18.2%), and non-tension-type headaches of 45 people (81.8%). Bivariate chi-square analysis showed that p = 0.008 (p <0.05). This means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.
