Abstract. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of cooperative learning type Think Pair Share on student learning outcomes in basic mathematics introductory courses at the FKIP PGMS UMSU Study Program. This study was a quasi-experimental study, using the one group pretest posttes only model, using one class as the study sample. The research instrument used in this study was a test / quiz in the form of 23 objective / multiple choice questions about set material and relationships contained in the basic mathematics introductory course. Based on the data obtained from the research results, there is an increase in the quality of learning in two stages, namely before the application of the Think Pair Share learning model and after the application of the Think Pair Share learning model. It can be seen that the values obtained by students at the post-test stage are superior and than before the application of the Think Pair Share learning model. The research hypothesis testing is related to how much influence the application of Think Pair Share learning models to improving student learning outcomes is done through statistical tests / t test. The result, obtained Tcount = 3.64. Then compared with Ttaraf at df = n-1, df = 42-1 = 41. With a real level of α of 0.05 is 2.02, if the price of Tcount is compared to T(table). It turns out Tcount > T(table) (3.64 > 2.02). This figure shows that the Think Pair Share learning model has a positive effect on the ability to understand the subject matter of Basic Mathematics Introduction for students of the FKIP UMSU PGSD Study Program. Keywords: Think Pair Share, Basic Introduction to Mathematics

The main problem in education today is the lack of effectiveness in the learning process. This can be seen from the average student learning outcomes which are always still low. Especially for vocational high school students who emphasize learning skills in order to produce work-ready graduates, but it is inversely proportional to the facts in the field. Low learning outcomes are indicated because the learning conditions are still conventional (lectures, practicum, and discussions) where teachers are still a source of learning (teacher centered). This study aims to determine the effect of the project based blended learning model on learning outcomes of vocational high school students. This research was conducted through a literature review and relevant research results and was continued through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). From the research it was found that there was a significant positive influence between the variable model of project based blended learning and student learning outcomes, which means that student learning outcomes can be improved through the application of a project based blended learning model.

The purpose of this study was to find a solution to the problem in applying the NHT (Numbered Heads Together) cooperative learning model to improve student learning outcomes in Class XII Social Studies Major of SMA Mathlaul Anwar High School Batujaya Karawang. This study used a classroom action research method. The study was conducted in three cycles and each cycle consists of 4 steps, namely planning, acting/implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results of the study show students' improvement in understanding the legal protection and law enforcement materials after the implementation of NHT cooperative learning model. By using the NHT model, the students find it easier to understand the concepts that used to be considered difficult. Before implementing the model, the understanding level of the students at SMA Mathlaul Anwar Batujaya Karawang was relatively low because some students scores were below the minimum completeness criteria. After the actions in the three cycles were completed, the student learning outcomes increase. The students average score before the treatment was 60.16. It increased to 68.25 in cycle 1, 72.50 in cycle 2, and 80.25 in cycle 3. This increase indicates that the NHT model can help the students improve their understanding. In the learning process using this model, the students feel that they are systematically guided in understanding the materials. Moreover, it helps the students in improving their ability to explain the learning materials and to provide examples on the legal protection and law enforcement materials in the learning process using the NHT cooperative learning model.
