Abstract. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of cooperative learning type Think Pair Share on student learning outcomes in basic mathematics introductory courses at the FKIP PGMS UMSU Study Program. This study was a quasi-experimental study, using the one group pretest posttes only model, using one class as the study sample. The research instrument used in this study was a test / quiz in the form of 23 objective / multiple choice questions about set material and relationships contained in the basic mathematics introductory course. Based on the data obtained from the research results, there is an increase in the quality of learning in two stages, namely before the application of the Think Pair Share learning model and after the application of the Think Pair Share learning model. It can be seen that the values obtained by students at the post-test stage are superior and than before the application of the Think Pair Share learning model. The research hypothesis testing is related to how much influence the application of Think Pair Share learning models to improving student learning outcomes is done through statistical tests / t test. The result, obtained Tcount = 3.64. Then compared with Ttaraf at df = n-1, df = 42-1 = 41. With a real level of α of 0.05 is 2.02, if the price of Tcount is compared to T(table). It turns out Tcount > T(table) (3.64 > 2.02). This figure shows that the Think Pair Share learning model has a positive effect on the ability to understand the subject matter of Basic Mathematics Introduction for students of the FKIP UMSU PGSD Study Program.Keywords: Think Pair Share, Basic Introduction to Mathematics

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model (TSTS) to the history of student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 7 Medan. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The study population was students of class X IPS with a sample of 65 students consisting of 34 students of class X IPS 2 as an experimental class and 31 students of class X IPS 1 as a control class. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test. The observation results showed that 91% of the experimental class students who took part in learning with the TSTS model got very good average scores. The average post-test value of the experimental class was 80.3, while the average value of the post-test of the control class that followed the learning with the conventional model was 63.70. T-test results for the post-test scores were obtained tcount > ttable (7,004 > 1,670).These results indicate that the TSTS learning model has a great influence in improving the history of student learning outcomes in class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 7 Medan.

The objective in this research: (1) Determine a better learning model to improve learning outcomes physics students among learning model Inquiry Training based multimedia and Inquiry Training learning model. (2) Determine the level of motivation to learn in affects physics student learning outcomes. (3) Knowing the interactions between the model of learning and motivation in influencing student learning outcomes. This research is a quasi experimental. The population in this research was all students in class XI SMA Negeri 1 T.P Sunggal Semester I 2012/2013. The sample of this research was consisted of two classes with a sample of 70 peoples who are determined by purposive sampling, the IPA XI-2 as a class experiment using a model-based multimedia learning Training Inquiry as many as 35 peoples and XI IPA-3 as a control class using learning model Inquiry Training 35 peoples. Hypotheses were analyzed using the GLM at significant level of 0.05 using SPSS 17.0 for Windows. Based on data analysis and hypothesis testing conducted found that: (1) Training Inquiry-based multimedia learning model in improving student learning outcomes rather than learning model physics Inquiry Training. (2) The results of studying physics students who have high motivation to learn better than students who have a low learning motivation. (3) From this research there was an interaction between learning model inquiry-based multimedia training and motivation to study on learning outcomes of students.

Abstact—This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes using computer-based learning media tutorial models. This type of research used in this study is a quasi-experimental study. This quasi-experimental study aims to explain the causal relationship by involving the control group in addition to the experimental group. The population in this study were all students of SMPN 1 Cisurupan. Determination of the sample using a random technique (random), the sample obtained was class VIII-F as a control class with 30 students and VIII-C as an experimental class with 30 students. The research instrument in this study uses multiple choice questions that have been tested for validity, reliability, distinguishing features and difficulty levels. Research Results obtained in this study the comparison of the gain score between the experimental class and the control class is 31.26: 18.67. Meanwhile, the change of Gain transferring the experimental class with the control class is 0.65: 0.35 and the standard deviation of improvement of student learning outcomes about the experimental class Blog material is 9.93 and the control class is 9.60. It can be concluded that the Computer Based learning model with Tutorial Model can significantly improve student learning outcomes in ICT lessons compared to conventional learning models. Keywords —student learning outcomes, Computer Based Learning, Model Tutorials. Abstrak—Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer model tutorial. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan hubungan sebab akibat dengan cara melibatkan kelompok kontrol disamping kelompok eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMPN 1 Cisurupan. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik random (acak), sampel yang diperoleh adalah kelas VIII-F sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 30 siswa dan VIII-C sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 30 siswa. instrumen penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen soal dengan bentuk pilihan ganda yang sudah di uji validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda dan tingkat kesukaran. Hasil Penelitian yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu perbandingan Gain skor antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol adalah 31,26 : 18,67.  Sedangkan, perbandingan Gain ternormalisasi antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol adalah 0,65 : 0,35 dan standar deviasi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa mengenai materi Blog kelas eksperimen adalah 9,93 dan kelas kontrol adalah 9,60. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Berbasis Komputer dengan Model Tutorial secara signifikan dapat lebih meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran TIK dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Kata Kunci —hasil belajar siswa, media Pembelajaran Berbasis Komputer, Model Tutoriala

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) on learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of temperature and heat in SMP PGRI 4 Medan. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The population of this entire class VIII SMP PGRI 4 Medan much as three classes. The sample in this study was taken as a random sampling of two classes. The instrument used  to determine student learning outcomes in the material temperature and heat in the form of multiple-choice questions numbered 20 and the observation sheet. AbstractSeveral factors can causes a low student learning outcomes in mathematics. One of them is lack of motivation in learning so students are not enthusiastic in learning seen from students who tend to be embarrassed or afraid to ask questions, lack of responding to the teacher, and less responding to the teacher's explanation. Therefore, the importance of innovative learning and motivation can help students get the optimal learning process. This study aims, to describe the effectiveness of learning and improving student learning outcomes through discussion learning with ARCS motivation strategy about the surface area and volume of cube in 8th grade of junior high school. This study use a quantitative descriptive study using one group pretest-post test study. The subject of this study are student of VIII-B in SMPN 2 Wonoayu with a total of 32 students. Data collection’s methods are using tests (pretest and post test), questionnaires and observations. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. To find out the increase in student learning outcomes in VIII-B class, the data were analyzed using n-gain. The results of this study include the ability of teachers to manage learning including good categories, students activities including active categories with an average percentage of 99.98 %, the response of students included in the good category with a percentage of 100%, completeness student learning there are 28 students completed with a percentage of 87,50% and increased student learning outcomes including the medium category. Based on the results of the research data, the implication of the results of this study is the determination of appropriate learning models and strategies can be used to improve student learning outcomes. This is indicated by the gain score obtained by students belonging to the medium category. The use of the discussion learning model in this study is said to be effective because it has fulfilled 4 components, namely student learning activities, student responses, student learning completeness and increased student learning outcomes.Keywords: discussion, ARCS motivation, result of learning

The background of the research is an effort to develop the quality and explore the potential of students. Teachers are strived to use the right learning model, namely problem-based learning models combined with online learning methods (learning from home) that have been decided by the Ministry of Education and Culture during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of problem-based learning models in improving student learning outcomes in geography subjects at SMAN 1 Langowan. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pretests-posttests control group design. The research variable with the independent variable is the problem-based learning model and the dependent variable is the learning outcome. The results showed that the problem-based learning model was effective and efficient to improve student learning outcomes. The comparison of learning outcomes shows the experimental class with 76.2 pretests and 87.7 posttests and the control class with 74.4 pretests and 81.8 posttests. It also encourages students to be more active and creative in overcoming the problems encountered in learning.

The aim of this research is to: (1) be able to vary the methods of learning in the classroom, (2) create fun and enjoyable learning by using spiderman games. That way it can make it easier to understand and comprehend learning material so that it improves student learning outcomes in sociology subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Pulung. This study uses a quasi experimental design method (quasi-experimental) with a form of nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS (social science) 1 and XI IPS (social science) 3 of SMA Negeri 1 Pulung, totaling 68 students. The sample used in this study was the entire population, namely two classes from class XI of the IPS (social science) program. All class, divided to, one class is grouped into an experimental class (35 students) and another class as a control class (33 students). The experimental class applies the "spiderman" learning media and the control class applies the power point learning media. This research data collection using tests and documentation. Data collected are pre-test and post-test. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive. The results showed that: (1) based on the results of the calculation at the time of the pretest compared to the post test showed that the learning outcomes of the experimental class students increased from 45.16% to 80.7% who passed the KKM (minimum completeness criteria), while the learning outcomes of the control class from 20% when the pretest becomes 50% at the post test. Based on these results show evidence that learning media "spiderman" is better than learning media power point, (2) learning media "spiderman" has a significant influence on learning outcomes of students of class XI IPS (social science) in SMA Negeri 1 Pulung that is equal to 35.54%. With a positive number which means that the average post test value of the experimental class is greater than the control class. This shows that the learning media "spiderman" has an influence on improving student learning outcomes in sociology subjects.

This type of research is quasi-experimental. The population of this entire class X SMA Amir Hamzah Medan. The sample in this study was taken as a random sampling of two classes. The instrument used  to determine student learning outcomes in the material dynamic electricity in the form of multiple-choice questions numbered 20. The t test hypothesis testing premises of the parties. This study aims to increase student learning outcomes on mathematics subjects in the material measuring angles with standard units by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model at SDN 106788 PURWODADI, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were students of class IV-B, which amounted to 29 students consisting of 11 male students and 18 female students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data from the results of this study were obtained from tests of student learning outcomes and observations.Based on the results of the study, it was shown that there was an increase in the learning outcomes of material students measuring angles with simple aircraft standard units by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model. This can be seen from improving student learning outcomes every cycle. In the pre-test of student learning outcomes carried out before the application of learning there were 4 students (32%) completed learning while 17 students (68%) had not yet finished with a grade point average of 50.93. In cycle 1 completeness of student learning outcomes there were 17 students (72%) completed in 8 students (28%) not yet completed with an average value of 70.4. The results of teacher observation amounted to 67.27% with a good category while the observations of students amounted to 64% with sufficient categories. Student learning outcomes have increased to 23 students (92%) completed 2 students (8%) have not been completed while the average value of 86.4. Teacher observation results have increased by 92.72% with very good categories while student observations amounted to 92% with very good categories. By looking at the percentage of learning outcomes and observations it can be concluded that the Application of Problem Based Learning Learning Models can improve student learning outcomes.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran talking stick terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah kelas X di SMK Grafika Yayasan Lektur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas XA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XB sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada uji validitas instrumen menggunakan korelasi biserial dengan 25 butir soal pilihan ganda dengan 15 butir soal valid an 10 butir soal yang tidak valid. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran talking stick lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, dari analisis data diperoleh rata-rata kelas eksperimen 87,16 dan kelas kontrol 66,85, (2) hasil pengujian hipotesis yang diperoleh thitung>ttabel yaitu  2,107>2,002 pada taraf signifikan α=0,05. Hal tersebut berarti hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima dan dinyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran talking stick terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah kelas X di SMK Grafika Yayasan Lektur. Kesimpulannya bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran talking stick terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah kelas X di SMK Grafika Yayasan Lektur.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran talking stick, hasil belajar AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the talking stick learning model on student learning outcomes in class X history subjects at the SMK Grafika Foundation for Literature.  The research method used was an experimental quantitative research method.  The sample used in this study is class XA as an experimental class and class XB as a control class. In the validity test the instrument uses biserial correlation with 25 multiple choice questions with 15 valid items and 10 invalid items.  Data analysis techniques used were normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing using t test. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in learning outcomes that were treated using the talking stick learning model higher than learning outcomes that were treated using conventional learning models, from the analysis of the data obtained an experimental class average of 87.16 and a control class 66,  85, (2) the results of testing the hypothesis obtained tcount> ttable is 2.107> 2.002 at a significant level α = 0.05.  This means that the hypothesis in this study can be accepted and it is stated that there is an effect of the talking stick learning model on student learning outcomes in class X history subjects at SMK Grafika Literature Foundation. The conclusion that there is an influence of the talking stick learning model on student learning outcomes in classs X history subjects at SMK Grafika Literature Foundation.Keywords: talking stick learning model, learning outcomes
