The aim of the present study was to examine the relationship between styles of sense of humour and parental attitude. The study sample consisted of adults who are parents, mostly women (59 vs 14 men). Because the study was exploratory in nature, a statistical significance level of α < .10 was adopted and tentatively demonstrated the existence of partial relationships between the constructs analyzed. Level of self-deprecating humour correlates with intensity of demanding attitude (rho = .249, p = .035) and intensity of demanding attitude (rho = .241, p = .042). In contrast, the level of aggressive humor correlates negatively with accepting attitude (rho = –.273, p = .012) but correlates positively with inconsistent attitude intensity (rho = .217, p = .067).

Aim. To assess the relationship of the anthropometric parameters of girls with the development of vulvovaginitis and the duration of breastfeeding. Materials and methods. To achieve this goal, 175 prepubertal girls at the age of 3-6 years, 73 girls with vulvovaginitis (main group) and 102 girls examined at a routine preventive examination in a children’s polyclinic without symptoms or signs of vulvovaginitis were examined, constituted a comparison group. When analyzing the anthropometric data of girls, we used the centile tables of M. Dementyev and B. I. Ilyina. Patients with a history of suspected sexual abuse or suspected vaginal foreign body were excluded from the study. Legal representatives of the subjects were informed about the purpose of the study and gave written informed voluntary consent. As part of a survey of the child’s legal representatives and copying data from outpatient cards, information was obtained about the mother’s obstetric and gynecological history, the child’s height and weight at birth, and the child’s height and weight at the time of the examination was assessed. Evaluation of the nature of feeding was carried out in 174 girls (1 girl was adopted). The processing of statistical data and the establishment of statistical significance was carried out using the chi-square test. Differences with a significance level of P < 0.05 were considered statistically significant. The method of multiple logistic regression was used to establish the influence of the child’s anthropometric data on the likelihood of vulvovaginitis and the relationship with the presence and duration of lactation. Results. There is a relationship between the anthropometric data of girls at birth and at the age of 3 to 6 years and the development of vulvovaginitis. In the group with vulvovaginitis, girls with a weight-growth coefficient at birth less than 3 centile (p = 0.044) were less common, and vulvovaginitis developed 2.79 times more often (95% CI: 1.2-6.53) in girls with overweight and obesity between the ages of 3 and 6. There is no relationship between the anthropometric data of the child, the presence and duration of breastfeeding. Conclusion. It was established that there is a relationship between the anthropometric data of girls at birth and at the age of 3-6 years and the development of vulvovaginitis. In the group with vulvovaginitis, girls with a weight-growth coefficient at birth less than 3 centile (p = 0.044) were less common, and vulvovaginitis developed 2.79 times more often in girls with overweight and obesity at the age of 3-6 years (95% CI: 1.2-6.53). There is no relationship between the anthropometric data of the child, the presence and duration of breastfeeding.

ABSTRACT   This work had the objective of identifying the relationship between MSG satellite data from channels 5 and 6 with precipitable water, relative humidity and the difference between the air temperature and dew point temperature outputs from BRAMS model, in a tentative of associating atmospheric remote sensing and numerical modeling. For this, two base-images were obtained: 1) 29-09-2012, 12:00 UTC ranging between 21°S and 27ºS; and 2) 30-09-2012, 00:00 UTC, ranging between 18°S and 24°S. The model was feeded with NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis data, using the same spatial resolution as the satellite data (4 km in a 6-hour time-step). A 95-99% statistical significance level was obtained throughout the obtained correlations. The MSG satellite data from channels 5 and 6 alongside the BRAMS simulations have proven to be an effective technique in the study of atmospheric humidity. The aim of this study is to determine the general competency beliefs and entrepreneurial levels of undergraduate students studying at faculty of sports sciences by different demographic variables. The sample group consists of total 1230 students, 541 women and 689 men, who have been educated in the sport sciences of five different universities and have been chosen by chance. In this study, the entrepreneurship scale, composed of 36 items, developed by Yılmaz and Sümbül (2009) and the entrepreneurship scale, developed by Jerusalem and Schwarzer (1992) and General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES), composed of 10 items, developed and adapted to Turkish by Çelikkaleli and Çapri (2008) were used as data collection tool. For statistical analysis of the data obtained from the study, the mean and frequency distributions were obtained. In order to determine the relationship between gender variables and the scores of the participants, t-test was performed and ANOVA test was performed to determine the relationship between the grades (points/marks) of the participants. Kruskal Wallis test was used for non-parametric tests because the variables studied did not meet the normal distribution and homogeneity conditions. In order to determine the relationship between the two scales, Pearson correlation test was performed and presented as results and tables. For statistical significance .05 significance level was selected. The results of the study show that the group has a high level of competency and entrepreneurship, that there is no meaningful relationship between gender variables and general competency and entrepreneurship levels, but that there is a meaningful relationship with the university variables they are studying. It has been determined that there is a positive correlation between the general level of competence of the students and the levels of entrepreneurship.

There are four types of parenting: democratic, authoritarian, permissive, and ignored, which would affect the character of the child. But family upbringing itself influenced education, norms/cultural, environmental, social, economic and belongs to the family members. quasi-experimental study through questionnaires, observation, deep interview, and interventions against high school Students, Peers, Teachers (BK), and their Parents/Family have been conducted through a random sampling of 108 respondents in four high school set. The result met the test paired T test statistical significance level 0 and T test result of 0.05 shows that the two variables p-value of p=0.00000. Correlation tests showed that there is a relationship between two variables at-0616. This sign (-) means that the test results are negative correlation. Can be seen if the correlation between the two variables is quite high between 0.50 to 1.0 can be concluded that the direction of the relationship between the two variables is negative. These results can be displayed from "if the family provides a strict upbringing will influence behavior in high school brawls in Adolescents will tend to be low and vice versa".

The paper deals with the problem of the assessment of the reliability of the relationship between variables when these variables show a level of spatial autocorrelation (similarity of values between near locations). Relationships between characteristics are being characterized by two different, while similar properties: the strength and the reliability. The commonly used correlation coefficient measures the relationship’s strength and cannot determine by its own whether the relationship is statistically significant. In return, statistical significance is measured with p-level, which shows the probability that the relationship revealed in the sample is non-existent in population. Significance level depends not only on the strength of the relationship but also on the degrees of freedom. Its calculation is based on the assumption of the independent samples. Yet it is often not the case when spatial data are being analyzed. These data are usually characterized by spatial autocorrelation, which leads to highly inflated degrees of freedom and overestimated significance levels. The method to deal with this problem is proposed, based on (Clifford, Richardson, Hemon, 1989). It has been implemented with R function that takes as an input raster layers and by analyzing their autocorrelation structure calculates the effective sample size. On the basis of the latter the variance of correlation coefficient r, its p-level and confidence intervals are calculated as outputs of the function. The created function has been tested by analyzing relationships between terrain parameters (elevation and slope) and land cover characteristic (NDVI index) with data gathered for a test area in the Ukrainian Carpathians and three its subareas. Key words: autocorrelation, statistical significance, R, spatial relationships.
