AbstractIn this study, the dynamic puncture behavior of nonwoven needle-punched polyester geotextiles has been studied using video processing technique. Twenty-seven needle-punched geotextile samples were produced by changing areal weight, needle penetration depth and punch density as independent variables. Cone drop test was carried out on the samples. In addition to measuring the hole diameter (HD), the video processing technique with a high frame rate camera was employed to calculate the energy absorbed by geotextile fabric up to puncture point (Ep) and the hole expansion energy (Ee). Multiple linear regression method was used to develop the predicting relationships between independent and reply variables. The models showed that an increase in areal weight results in an increase in Ep, whereas it causes a decrease in Ee and HD. Moreover, increasing punch density and needle penetration depth, leads to less Ep, and more Ee and HD. In addition, it was also found that significant relationships exist for Ep-HD and Ee-HD.

The aim of this reseach is to find out the effect of motivation, supervision and work culture toward the productivity of civil servant sub-district head Lueng Bata Banda Aceh. The research problem is “how the motivation influence, supervision and work culture toward productivity of civil servant sub-district head Lueng Bata Banda Aceh district. To prove the hypothesis that is used multiple linear regression method with independent variables are motivation, supervision, work culture and the dependent variable is productivity and with degree of confidence 5%, the third of independent variables have influence significantly, either partial t-test or F-test. R2 value 0.727 that means 72,7% changing productivy can explain by contribution of  motivation variables, supervision and work culture toward the work productivity, and 27,3% can explain by other variables outside model. Keywords: motivation, supervision, culture work, productivity

The two-wheeler industry in Indonesia has a very positive trend. Advanced technology science as a means of smoothing the flow of communication and transportation, which causes very competitive competition. This study aims to test product design, product quality, the brand image on the purchase decision of a Mio motorcycle at a Yamaha Sumber Baru Dealer Rejeki Kartasura. The research sample was 70 consumers and used the multiple linear regression method. The results of product design, product quality, a brand image simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on the purchase decision of the Mio Motor at Yamaha Sumber Baru Dealer Rejeki Kartasura. Three independent variables can explain the purchase decision.

This study aims to 1) Analyze the pattern of changes in commodity prices for spanish pepper in Malang District. 2) Analyzing the factors that influence fluctuations in the price of spanish pepper in Malang District. The research method used is quantitative method that uses secondary data in the form of time series obtained from several related agencies, namely the Central Statistics Agency of Malang District, Department of Industry and Trade, and Department of food crops, horticulture, and plantation in Malang District. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression with the dependent variable is the price at the consumer level from 2009-2018, while the independent variables use the data of the price of spanish pepper at the producer level, the amount of production, and the amount of consumption from 2009-2018. The study found that: 1) The development of the price of spanish pepper had a trend that tended to increase during the last 10 years. 2) From the results of data processing using multiple linear regression method with Eviews 9.0 application, it is found that the factor that significantly influences changes in the price of spanish pepper is the price at the producer level, while the amount of production of spanish pepper and the number of requests does not significantly affect the change in spanish pepper prices in Malang District.

This study is carried out with the purpose of determining the correlational-causal relationship between the variables sustainable economic development, equitable social development, efficient and participatory institutional development and technology, for this the following methodology was developed: a quantitative study, with a non-experimental design, of transectional cut. The measurement instrument used was the questionnaire, consisting of three independent and one dependent variables, with 71 questions. Each construct contains a series of items that are related to the variable to be measured. The statistical methods that were considered the most appropriate for the analysis of the data collected were: cronbach's alpha, to measure the reliability of the instrument and; the multiple linear regression method for checking the model. The results obtained show that there is a positive relationship between the variables and, with the ANOVA test it was possible to verify that the three independent variables proposed in the theoretical model are statistically significant, since they have a significance level of 0.000, therefore it is considered relevant. The contribution of this research lies in granting the input of strategies to the authorities of the surveyed municipality to help improve their economic conditions.

This study aims to analyze the Factors Affecting Non-Oil and Gas Commodity Exports in Indonesia in 1985-2017. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from www.bps.go.id. The method used to analyze the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable is the multiple linear regression method. The results of the study partially showed that economic growth had a positive and significant effect on the exports of non-oil and gas commodities in Indonesia, the exchange rate and inflation did not affect the exports of non-oil and gas commodities in Indonesia. Simultaneously, the rate of economic growth and inflation had a positive and significant effect on non-oil and gas commodity exports in Indonesia.

This study aims to determine the influence of service quality and product quality on consumer purchase decision at Amanda Brownies Store in Medan. The population of this study was taken from the number of consumers for 6 month totalling 1,509 or 252 consumers in a month. The number of samples taken in this study was 155 consumers. The data collection methods in this study used questionnaires among 155 consumers of Amanda Brownies Store in Medan. The data analysis method used was Multiple Linear Regression method. The partial testing analysis shows that service quality and product quality have a significant effect on consumer purchase decision. Furthermore, the simultaneous test results showed that the service quality variable and product quality variable significantly influence the consumer purchase decision. The Adjusted R Square is 0.316 or 31.6%. This means that 31.6% of consumer purchase decision is influenced by both independent variables, while the remaining 68.4% of customer purchase decision is influenced by other variables-not examined in this study.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to determine what factors may affect taxpayer (TP) compliance. Design/methodology/approach This research uses five independent variables such as income, TP’s perception on tax penalties, law and enforcement, fair tax treatment and the use of tax money in a transparent and accountable way. The dependent variable is the compliance of individual TPs non-employees. The data used are primary data obtained from questionnaires on KPP Surabaya Rungkut and processed using a multiple linear regression method with SPSS 21.0 Software for Windows. Findings The results show that partially income does not affect the compliance of individual TP non-employees; however, four other independent variables on the TP’s perception of penalties, law enforcement, tax treatment and the use of tax money simultaneously had a positive effect. Originality/value All independent variables had a positive effect on compliance by individual TP non-employees on KPP Surabaya Rungkut.

The 2020 pandemic affected the economic sector, including banking sector, especially banks in the BUKU 1 category. This study aims to identify internal factors that affect bank profitability between normal conditions in 2019 and conditions when economic growth experienced a contraction due to the pandemic in 2020. This study is based on the theory of Asset-Liability Management (ALM) and uses multiple linear regression method with ROA as a measure of profitability, LDR, BOPO, and CAR as independent variables, and NPL as quasi moderator. The results of this study provide findings that to maintain profitability, banks need to pay attention to cost efficiency which is reinforced by the risk of bad loans. Meanwhile, in unstable conditions, there are additional liquidity risk factor that must also receive attention. Thus, the results of this study are in line with the liability management approach. Keywords : Bank profitability; Normal Condition, Contraction of Economic Growth.
