Abstract This research aims to understand the increase in skill the process of science students with a guided inquiry model and performance assessment and the implementation of guided inquiry model and performance assessment to students of class XI IPA  Christian High School 1 Salatiga . Skills of the research process are studied consisting of observing, hypothesizing, questioning, applying concepts, communicating, and practicing with minimum criteria for psychomotor criteria for 73. The type of research used is classroom action research with data triangulation research technique, in the form of questionnaire instrument, interview sheet, observation sheet, student performance assessment result, and supporting data in the form of documentation. The results showed that the results of the students' science process skills experienced an increase in each cycle. Guided inquiry models also familiarize students to play an active role in all learning activities and practicum conducted by students, so that students not only understand the material but also skillfully using laboratory tools. Abstrak Peneliitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan model inkuiri terbimbing dan performance assessment serta penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing dan performance assessment pada siswa kelas XI IPA I SMA Kristen 1 Salatiga. Keterampilan proses sains yang diteliti terdiri dari keterampilan mengamati, berhipotesis, menanya, menerapkan konsep, berkomunikasi, dan melakukan praktikum dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal untuk psikomotorik sebesar 73. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik penelitian triangulasi data, berupa instrumen angket, lembar wawancara, lembar observasi, hasil performance assessment siswa, dan data pendukung berupa dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil keterampilan proses sains siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklus. Model inkuiri terbimbing juga membiasakan siswa untuk berperan aktif dalam seluruh kegiatan pembelajaran dan praktikum yang dilakukan siswa, sehingga siswa tidak hanya memahami materi tetapi juga cakap menggunakan alat-alat laboratorium. AbstractThis study is aimed to describe entrepreneurship knowledge, performance, and entrepreneurship attitude of third grade social science students in SMAN 2 Kandangan through entrepreneurship learning.This study is carried out in SMAN 2 Kandangan, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regent, South Kalimantan. The research method is regresional method. The variable are students’ knowledge, performance, and entrepreneurship attitude. The number of subject is 78 students that belong to social science class in the academic year 2012-2013. The data collection are gained through proficiency test, performance assessment, and questionnaire. The data are analyzed quantitatively. The result of this study shows that there are positive and significant influences on students’ entrepreneurship knowledge (X1) and performance (X2) toward their entrepreneurship attitudes (Y). This result is classified into medium category. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 2 Kandangan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode regresional. Variabel yang diuji adalah variable Pengetahuan, Kinerja , dan Sikap Kewirausahaan. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik program studi IPS tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 berjumlah 78 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui tes pengetahuan, penilaian kinerja, dan kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari pengetahuan kewirausahaan (X1) dan kinerja peserta didik (X2) terhadap sikap kewirausahaan (Y). Besarnya prosentase pengaruh pengetahuan kewirausahaan dan kinerja peserta didik terhadap sikap kewirausahaan peserta didik pada kategori sedang.Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan kewirausahaan, kinerja dan sikap kewirausahaan

Assessment is part of the teaching and learning process, aimed at improving student performance. Assessment also improves the quality of education, which enhances lifelong learning skills and performance in the educational context. Evaluation is a form of process of measuring the assessment process. It is a systematic process that involves the collection, analysis and translation of student achievement levels into the teaching objectives. The Impact

Students who engage in undergraduate research experiences acquire many benefits, including an understanding of how scientific knowledge is constructed, recognition that knowledge can be complex and uncertain, and the habit of viewing knowledge critically. This paper describes a first-year two-course sequence that provides multidisciplinary opportunities for international science students to engage in the research process and present at a student-led research conference. We describe course goals and structure, and discuss whether the goals were attained using instructor reflections, student performance, and student survey data. We also evaluate the impact of changes to the curriculum between Year 1 and Year 2. In both years, we found that students engaged meaningfully with the research process and began to understand how scientific knowledge is created. We also found that a modular model with front-end support worked better for instructors as compared to a continuous individualized project mentorship model. This modular approach involved structured pre- and post-class assignments within discipline-specific themes containing examples of the research process embedded into the discipline. These discipline-specific modules were followed by modules covering broader research process themes. We encourage instructors who are thinking of delivering a similar research-based course for first-year students to provide support via example research questions and other example templates for student submissions.

Formation to build character in the digital era in the world of education through the development of ethical values and performance support to form the foundation of individual characters expected. Developments in the digital era influence individual lifestyles and patterns of relationships so as to form a new paradigm for helping human needs in carrying out the duties and expectations. The purpose of building character besides having benefits also have a negative impact can be described in the attitudes and behavior of individuals, which occurs demoralisasasi. The method used in building individual character that balance the mind / creativity, feeling / sense of, and willingness / intention in executing their daily duties. The result is an imbalance in the event over them in carrying out daily activities using irrational thoughts, dishonest, irresponsible, did not have a good work ethic.   This research aims to produce a final product in the form of a performance-assessment instrument on Cell Structure and Function experiment. The development model is ADDIE. Based on expert's judgment, the instrument was valid and can be tested in the field. Field-test results shown that the product performs high validity and reliability value on measuring student performance on Cell Structure and Function experiment. Therefore, it is concluded that this performance-assessment instrument theoretically and practically has a good quality for measuring student performance in both process and product performance on Cell Structure and Function experiment.
