AIMS: By means of a literature review, this article aims to organize concise guidelines for the construction of scenarios for simulated training, discussing practical aspects of the application of this methodology in the health area.METHODS: Search were made in PubMed, Web of Science and LILACS databases, including articles in English, Spanish and Portuguese, published between August 1997 and July 2017. The descriptors used were “scenario-based training”, “scenario-based simulation”, “scenario preparation”, “script development”, “simulation scenario”, and “case-based teaching”, and their equivalents in Portuguese and Spanish. The search was delimited for review articles, practical guidelines, comments, editorials and letters to the editor. The descriptors were identified directly from articles, since they were not yet included in the subject indexes of databases or in the Medical Subject Headings. Only articles dealing with the methodology of simulation scenario construction were included.RESULTS: From 1,128 studies assessed, we selected 20 that met the inclusion criteria. Most of studies dealt with specific clinical situations, not discussing the methodology of scenario construction. The analysis of the 20 studies made it possible to develop guidelines for scenario construction, which were divided into three sections: building a scenario in eight steps, pearls in the construction of simulation scenarios and pitfalls in the development of scenarios.CONCLUSIONS: Construction of simulation scenarios should be planned and structured according to the proposed learning objectives, which should be clear and synergistic with the curricular content. In addition, it is fundamental to adjust the degree of fidelity of the scenario to the learning objectives, because excessively produced scenarios are expensive and can produce excessive fascination, dispersing the attention of the student. On the other hand, low fidelity scenarios can make it difficult for participants to immerse themselves in the activity. Like any project, resources must be invested in planning to facilitate its execution and, consequently, to increase its effectiveness.

Pictorial symbols have multiple layers of meaning: not only do they represent objects, events and ideas about the world, they also represent the intentions of artists as well as other artist attributes (age, skill, originality and knowledge, mood, style and sentience). Although children’s developmental milestones of pictorial understanding have been the subject of a long-standing debate, their understanding of the relation between artists and pictures has often been neglected. The aim of this article was to conduct a systematic review on children’s and adolescents’ understanding of the relation between artists and pictures. PsycINFO and Web of Science databases were searched for English, Spanish, German, and Italian language empirical studies that examined this link in 2- to 18-year- olds. Forty-two citations (64 studies) from 14 different countries met the inclusion criteria. Results revealed the majority of the studies focused on the understanding of the artist’s intention. Although research on children’s and adolescents’ understanding of other attributes is scarce, and there were inconsistencies across the methodologies used, it seems that they first acknowledge intention and only later become more aware of how artist’s attributes are communicated through intention. The results of the review encourage subsequent research to provide a clearer conceptualised model of child and adolescent understanding of the artist-picture relationship. Such a model should be placed within a wider framework of the network of relationship between the artist, picture, world and beholder. Finally, consideration of how the development of understanding the artist-picture relationship is bi-directionally influenced with other developmental milestones in the child psychology is encouraged, particularly picture-production and theory of mind, and variations in atypical populations.

Abstract A literature review spanning January 1, 2010, to December 31, 2019, was conducted using the PubMed and ISI Web of Science databases to determine the breadth of publication activity in the area of gram-negative bacteria antimicrobial therapy. The number of articles was used as a reflection of scholarly activity. First, PubMed was searched using the following Medical Subject Headings (MeSH): antibacterial agents, Enterobacteriaceae, Acinetobacter, and Pseudomonas. A total of 12 643 articles were identified within PubMed, and 77 862 articles were identified within ISI Web of Science that included these terms. Second, these articles were categorized by antibiotic class to identify relative contributions to the literature by drug category. Third, these studies were used to identify key trends in the treatment of gram-negative bacterial infections from the past decade. This review highlights advances made in the past 10 years in antibacterial pharmacotherapy and some of the challenges that await the next decade of practice.

Hypertensive patients with COVID-19 are susceptible to complications of the disease, so this study aimed to analyze the action of drugs that act on Angiotensin (TA) in the presence of COVID-19 in comparison with other antihypertensives, as well as to identify the main ones. evidence on the subject presented so far. It is an integrative literature review containing 34 articles selected according to the inclusion criteria, between January / 2020 to February / 2021, in the PubMed, Embase, Scopus and Web of Science databases. The results do not show a causal relationship between the increase in COVID-19 infection and the use of RAAS inhibitors, but a possible protective effect of these against the severe manifestation of the disease due to the inhibition of the pro-inflammatory diseases of AT II. Thus, about ⅔ of the studies defended the continuity of use and the protection factor of RAAS blockers to the detriment of the other classes of antihypertensive drugs that do not modulate RAAS. It was found, then, that antihypertensive treatment should be maintained, as it does not worsen the prognosis in the face of Sars-CoV-2 infection. However, the studies are mainly observational and, therefore, cannot establish strong causal relationships. For this reason, robust randomized controlled trials are needed to better understand this topic.

Objective: this work sought to inquire on the influence of sexuality on the health of the elderly during dementia. Materials and Methods: this was an integrative review. A careful search was conducted in nine databases; however, only five databases provided articles fulfilling the scope of the study: Medline, Lilacs, BDENF, Scopus, and Web of Science (WoS). The health science descriptors (DeCS) were adopted: “sexualidad”, “demencia” and “anciano”, and the descriptors cataloged in the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH): “sexuality”, “dementia” and “aged”. After applying the inclusion criteria, eight articles were selected to comprise the study sample. Results: the practice of sexuality influences upon the health of the elderly with dementia with some beneficial effects, given that it provides, especially, better perception of quality of life and wellbeing. Nevertheless, it cannot be generalized due to methodological insufficiency evidenced in the studies found to construct this review. Conclusions: due to the limitation of studies addressing the theme and the methodological insufficiency of those included in this review, it is necessary to conduct research that shows in depth the influence of sexuality on this population, given that it can be constituted as another approach for the promotion and protection of health in the elderly with dementia.

Work Passion*” AND “Identity” AND “Study Case”. ABSTRACTThe present study aims to analyze how Work Passion affects the Identity of individuals in their activities, to which case studies were analyzed from the meta-synthesis methodology proposed by Hoon (2013). Considering these two concepts, it is noteworthy that for Vallarand et al. (2003) the passion for work exists when people consider it important or invest time and energy in the activity. Abstract. The study aims to review the scientific evidence related to football for amputees. For the reference search, the following keywords were used as descriptors: “Football” and “Amputee”. The terms were entered in English in the following computerized databases: SPORTDiscus, PUBMED, Web of Science and SCOPUS, considering all the documents published up to September 2020. To limit the search, four inclusion criteria were introduced: 1) Select documents available in full text or with abstract, 2) Have enough relevant information about soccer for amputees (Minimum 50 words), 3) Provide information related to the physical condition, training, injuries and / or social aspects of the players of soccer for people with amputations, and 4) Be written in Spanish, English or Portuguese. The exploratory systematic review featured ten football related documents for amputees. The existing documents related to the subject are scarce as a consequence of the lack of evolution of this modality. These manuscripts, for the most part, deal with aspects such as strength and endurance. Furthermore, only one document talks about the use of inertial devices in their measurements. Therefore, there is a need for further research in the field of football for amputees.

The objective of this study is to map articles that present models for determining the territory size of Geographical Indications (GIs), a relevant factor for the management of GIs that is poorly explored in studies on the subject. The study was undertaken as a systematic mapping study (SMS), whose main objective is to identify accessible facts about a given research topic, which is also the most suitable approach when aiming to analyze the state of the art of a subject with little evidence available in the literature. Using the Scopus and Web of Science databases, in which 671 results were found, and the StArt tool to select the articles, 652 articles were excluded (30 duplicates and 622 that did not meet the inclusion criteria established in the systematic mapping protocol). Then, after a complete reading of the texts of the 19 remaining articles, 14 were excluded. Thus, this study included only five articles in which GI size models were developed, the oldest of which was published in 2007 and the most recent in 2021. We therefore conclude that few studies are available in the literature on this theme.

The possibility of recognizing what emotion one of our peers is experiencing has been the subject of study by various researchers over the years, Paul Ekman being the one who has delved most deeply into this subject, the most viable and simple way to achieve this would be through the analysis of people's facial expressions. The search for information was carried out using rigorous exclusion criteria such as studies corresponding to grizzly data and letters to the editor, and inclusion criteria such as studies published only in high impact journals such as PubMed, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, ScienceDirect, APA PsycNet and Springer, PRISMA guidelines and AMSTAR check-list were used. The main objective of this systematic review was to determine whether there is sufficient scientific literature evidence to clarify whether it is possible to accurately identify the six basic universal emotions "happiness, surprise, sadness, anger, fear and disgust" proposed by Paul Ekman through facial expressions. After the analysis of the articles collected and based on the main findings, it is concluded that the recognition of emotions through facial expressions is a subject that still needs to be studied in greater depth, as suggested by the results obtained.
