Introduction. A search for effective educational strategies that can form and maintain Chinese national identity is a highly relevant task for the Chinese academic community. Secondary school textbooks’ content revision has become one of the ways to solve the problem. The purpose of the article is to analyze the complex of educational and methodological materials within the framework of school education, aimed at influencing the formation of national identity in China. Materials and Methods. To study the problem, we conducted a survey, in which schoolteachers and parents of schoolchildren from the city of Lanzhou (PRC) took part. In order to identify the views of these two communities regarding the impact of the updated textbook content on the emerging identity of schoolchildren, we analyzed the personal data, and to understand the learning outcomes, we examined in detail the content and structure of new textual narratives, comparing them with previous educational materials. This helped us to identify a mechanism for developing lessons using the corpus of cultural and historical heritage, which was the essence of the reform aimed at shaping national priorities in the identity of the younger generation. Owing to the chosen methods, we were able to better understand and comprehend the role that ideological education is designed to play in the conditions of modern China. Results. The analysis showed that the updated textbooks reflect the main discourses of Confucian philosophy, fostering cultural and political identity in students. The survey showed that the increased national discourse in the content-factual part of textbooks facilitated the fostering of national identity among schoolchildren. Discussion and Conclusion. The materials of this article can be used for further research of the educational process and its influence on the development of civil society cohesion. This can be useful for polyethnic states in terms of strategic planning and development of mechanisms of construction and maintenance of national identity when drawing up educational textbooks. The results of this study may also be of interest to researchers dealing with educational problems and considering education as one of the elements that play an important role in the formation of national identity, as well as for teachers and students.

В статье рассматриваются результаты и последствия внедрения смарти нейротехнологий в инклюзивное образование. Цель работы — изучить их влияние на развитие субъектности студентов и преподавателей, применяющих цифровые технологии. Новизна исследования заключается в попытке интегративно осмыслить социально-психологические проблемы нейрообразования, связанные с внедрением и применением систем искусственного интеллекта в инклюзивном образовательном процессе, в рамках которого формируется и развивается субъектность. Изучение подводных камней нейрообразования необходимо для осмысления результатов воздействия цифровых технологий на становление и развитие обучающихся и педагогов как субъектов воспитательно-образовательного процесса. Варианты преобразования инклюзивного образования и его субъектов должны рассматриваться в контексте изменения ценностей, целей, концептов и концепций, которые определяют и трансформируют взаимоотношения человека с собой и окружающим миром. Результаты исследования показали, что нейротехнологии вызывают серьезные изменения в инклюзивном образовании, влияют на отношение человека к себе и окружающему миру и в конечном итоге могут привести к потере субъектности. Соответственно, их использование подразумевает высокую культуру инклюзивного образовательного процесса, развитие человеческих и профессиональных качеств педагогов и обучающихся. Нейрообразование может сыграть существенную роль в становлении и совершенствовании человека как субъекта при условии формирования нейросреды в контексте цифровой и общечеловеческой культуры. The article focuses on the results and consequences of the introduction of smart and neurotechnologies in inclusive education. The purpose of the study is to analyze the development of the subjectivity of students and teachers using digital technologies. The novelty of the research lies in the desire to integratively reflect on socio-psychological problems related to the introduction and application of artificial intelligence systems in an inclusive educational process, within which subjectivity is formed and developed. The study of the problems of neuroeducation is necessary for understanding the results of the impact of digital technologies on the formation and development of students and teachers as subjects of the educational process. Options for the transformation of inclusive education and its subjects should be considered in terms of changing values, goals, concepts that define and transform a person’s relationship with themselves and the world around them. Research results showed that neurotechnologies bring serious changes in inclusive education; they affect a person’s attitude towards himself or herself and the world around him or her and can eventually lead to a loss of subjectivity.They can be introduced only on the basis of a high culture of the educational process, highly developed human and digital competencies of teachers and students. Neuroeducation can play an essential role in a person’s formation and improvement as a subject provided the neuro-environment is created on the basis of digital and human culture.

The article discusses the impact of national identity on democratization and market reforms in Russia and Ukraine. We develop a concept of hegemonic national identity and demonstrate its role in Russian and Ukrainian post-communist political development. The article argues that Russia’s slide toward authoritarianism was to an important degree an outcome of the notions of national identity adopted by the main political players and society at large. In Ukraine, on the other hand, a hegemonic identity failed to emerge and the public discussion of issues of national identity led to the adoption of much more liberal and democratic notions of identity by a considerable part of the political elite. Adoption of this more liberal identity, in turn, was one of the main reasons for the Orange Revolution. The main theoretical implications of this argument are as follows: (a) choices of national identity profoundly affect the prospects for democracy in the newly democratizing states; (b) institutions do shape identities; (c) elites’ preference for (or opposition to) liberal democracy is not simply a consequence of their understanding of their self-interest in gaining and preserving power but also is dependent to a significant extent on their choices of political identity.

The article analyzes current trends in the digital transformation of education in order to train personnel for the digital economy. The article considers the impact of digitalization on modern school and University education and analyzes its positive and negative aspects for the modern educational environment. It is shown how the rapid change in teaching methods and forms during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak led to the accumulation of experience in virtual contacts between teachers and students, as well as between students. The advantages of personification and personalization of the educational process are presented. The idea of creating educational clusters as a new model for integrating education and business is analyzed. Attention is paid to the features of training of generations Z and Alpha.

Along with the frequent social conflicts in Indonesia, the multicultural reality of this country is becoming increasingly urgent to be reconstructed so that it can become an "integrating force" for the future of this nation, especially through the education sector. In that context, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdlatul Ulama (MINU) Bangil Pasuruan, East Java, is a "lantern" for Indonesia's future multiculturalism that has implemented multicultural education management well. It involves various religious and ethnic cultural organizations, such as NU, Muhammadiyah, and others. Also, there are several ethnic groups like Javanese, Sundanese, Madurese, and Chinese. This qualitative research with a phenomenological approach-case study attempts to analyze the implementation of multicultural education management to develop conflict resolution learning at MINU Bangil Pasuruan. This research shows that the application of multicultural education management is running well with the main learning models based on visiting culture class learning. Meanwhile, the impact of multicultural education management includes 1) the life and interpersonal relationships of the entire academic community and the environment of educational institutions becoming more harmonious and inclusive, despite the ethnic plurality in the community; and 2) the learning process becomes more enjoyable and effective because it is supported by the growing sense of belonging and love between teachers and students.

The article substantiates the relevance of the introduction into the professional training of students of musicians on the principle of integration. The philosophical and pedagogical definition of such concepts as “spirituality”, “spiritual values” of a student-musician is given. The purpose of the article is to introduce the principle of integration into professional training, the impact of integration processes on the development of the spirituality of students-musicians. The goal and advantages of integration training as the basis for the spiritual development of a student-musician are determined.The humanistic paradigm of education (V. P. Andrushchenko, I. A. Zyazyun, A. M. Stepashko) is the methodological basis for solving the problems of the article. A synergetic approach to the processes of development and self-development of spirituality, the thinking of the student, his creative “Self” (V. G. Budanov, V. V. Vasilkov). One of the areas of development of the conceptual foundations of the moral development of student-musician is the introduction into the educational process of the principle of integration of knowledge about the spiritual sphere of man, spiritual values, as the foundations of human culture.It is impossible to give education on the principles of a particular science, regardless of other sciences. This integration is an organic combination of the information of other educational disciplines around the topic of music, musical interpretation, is one of the most promising innovations that imposes new conditions for the activities of teachers and students, has a great influence on the effectiveness of the perception of young musicians learning material. Integration processes in the professional training of young musicians have become more and more important in recent years as they are aimed at implementing new educational ideals — the formation of a holistic knowledge system about musical art and performing skills, the development of students’ creative musical abilities and spirituality. The essence of the principle of integration is based on scientifically grounded, organic interpenetration of different areas of knowledge: in the form of a set of associations, symbols, categories, etc., taking into account the psychological and pedagogical features of the personality of student-musician in order to optimize and increase the effectiveness of forming a coherent picture of the world, value orientations and phenomena of art within the same subject. Thus, the use of the principle of integration in educational activities (in reliance on the widespread use of subject relations) contributes to developing, humanistic learning, in turn, stimulating the spiritual development of a student-musician.

The article examines the contribution of the Chinese researcher of the first half of the 20th century Li Zhaoyi to the study of the impact of ancient Chinese thought on the economic doctrine of the French physiocrats. An interpretation of the schools of Taoism, Confucianism and Legalism as carriers of the idea of natural law, which became fundamental for physiocrats, is highlighted as a key feature of Li Zhaoyi’s academic concept. The interpretation of the Chinese teachings on morality, ritual, the way-Tao, and the law-Fa as different understandings of natural law was aimed at demonstrating the Chinese influence on the European thought of the Enlightenment. A distinctive feature of Li Zhaoyi’s research was the use of European concepts, primarily anarchism and individualism, to discuss the specifics of ancient Chinese thought through comparisons with the ideas of J.J. Rousseau, P.A. Kropotkin, M.A. Bakunin, M. Stirner. The increasing attention to the legacy of Li Zhaoyi in modern China is due to the growing interest in the problem of the recognition of Chinese concepts by the global academic community. Li Zhaoyi’s name was mentioned by well-known economist J.A. Schumpeter. The influence on the French physiocrats was a rare case of China’s contribution to the development of world economic science that is expected to provide inspiration for future intercultural interactions. It is concluded that the official policy of introducing “philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics” to the outside world will help to maintain interest in the history of China’s influence on European thought.

The purpose of the study. Assessment of the impact the COVID-19 pandemic on the quality of education based on a study of the implementation of e-learning technologies using digital platforms in both foreign and Kazakhstani universities.Methodology. Problems related to online learning and possible solutions were identified based on a retrospective and comparative analysis of foreign and Kazakhstan scientific research. Scientific literature search was carried out in large databases: Researchgate, Springer, ScienceDirect. During the search, 481 scientific articles were found that matched the entered search parameters. Given the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 465 papers were screened out, and the remaining 16 were sent for analysis.Originality / value of the research. Along with identifying barriers to the introduction of e-learning, the main factors during the COVID-19 pandemic were identified that influenced the effectiveness of the educational process. The study revealed that digital platforms create sustainable competitive advantages and are the main tool for modernizing the learning process.Findings. As a result of the study, the most significant factors related to technological knowledge management, as well as the level of readiness of universities, teachers and students to implement e-learning, were identified.

In this article, we examined the impact of creativity on pedagogical tolerance and lack of tolerance of teachers and students in the educational process. The psychological and social task of educating the individual is transferred to the pedagogical plan and in many ways sounds like the education of a tolerant consciousness. In fact, we see this as a model of the worldview problem that we solve in society and teachers. Addressing the problem of tolerance is now one of the principles of humanization of psychology. Pedagogical tolerance as a personal quality is an integral part of a number of professional competencies of employees of the education system. The lack of tolerance of teachers with an expressed authoritarian style of teaching and pedagogical communication consists of negative psychological characteristics that often manifest themselves in relation to students, which leads to extremely negative, and sometimes simply destructive consequences in teaching practice.

Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic created one of the most stressful situations all around the world and affected almost all activity sectors, including medical education. Sudden restrictions on social interactions forced an abrupt transition from amphitheatres and physical examinations to online lectures and, despite difficulties, the academic community rallied to continue teaching. The swift transition left academia with no time to design custom platforms and confined the university to choose among a set of readily available tools: Google Classroom and Google Meet, Zoom and Moodle, which offer a basic framework for substituting the students’ needs. In some countries, ours included, most of the summer term took place online. Although pandemics are, hopefully, rare events, the experience with online classes should be used to improve and expand current teaching models, since this improvement could be a means to a general improvement of the medical teaching system. On the other hand, the COVID-19 pandemic is not finished yet and many restrictions continue, affecting at least 20% of the total undergraduate training of several generations of doctors. The study aims to identify – within the medical students’ community - transferable aspects of online classes to the post-pandemic teaching in the perspective of blended learning. We deliberately chose to omit the examination part of the educational process in order to set the focus on the delivery of teaching. In this first analysis of the results, the degree of progress in reaching a high professionalism level was analyzed starting from the self-assessment of professional growth, that was previously found to be in good agreement with the actual achievements as derived from the traditional formative examination. The situation with the pandemic in the world showed that education in Ukraine will never be the same. Isolation turned out to be a big challenge for both teachers and students. This is explained primarily by a lack of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in providing distance learning. According to the EU recommendations, the education institution will work effectively if it provides the best use of digital technology for teaching and learning and develops teachers' and students' digital competences and skills. Educational technology tools include content management systems, language learning apps, podcasts, and electronic discussion boards. The features of free, open-source, cross-platform audio software Audacity are described in the study. The paper analyzes how a university teacher can record, edit and export in MP3 format the language learning podcast through Audacity. To answer this question, we created 5 bilingual grammar podcasts based on the audio platform. The designed podcasts can be used as learning activities outside the class with the university students. The obtained results showed that even a beginner in the sphere of ICT can design a good-quality foreign language podcast. The difference between the scores in pre and post-test results suggest that self-designed podcasts can be used in teaching EFL to improve grammar skills. This study emphasizes the need for implementing ICT tools in the educational process to improve the quality of teaching and learning and to share the gained experience with the colleagues. Further research could determine the role of self-designed podcasts in an online language course for the students of technical universities.
