The optimization of physical activity of students is directly related to the issue of improving their physical abilities. Proper physical development and a high degree of physical activity are essential basis on which they should be built as socially active individuals. The objective of this study is to track and analyses the changes occurred in the physical abilities indicators of students from the University of Forestry after applying a model to develop motor skills. In this survey, 187 students have been involved and evaluated with a test battery, consisted of ten physical fitness tests, conducted at the beginning and at the end of the experiment. We used a variational and comparative analysis to process the survey results.

People with intellectual disabilities (ID) make up about 2% of the total population, in addition to the cognitive and social problems which they face, physical abilities are at a very low level, during life. At the same time, people with ID show deficits in motor status which is associated with poor perception of information and inability to execute movements and with constant variation of body status indicators. The aim of this detailed review was to summarize previous works that examined the effects that regular physical activity has on motor and physical status in ID. The following index databases were used to collect adequate literature: GoogleScholar, PubMed, SciIndex, ResearchGate, MEDLINE. A systematic review of the available literature was performed in accordance with the guidelines of the Preferred Reports for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). The training processes of people with ID are adapted to the level of disability. Research that has studied the effects of adequate and regular physical activity highlights the importance of these programs in reducing the consequences and improving the quality of life of this population, improving motor skills and body composition, in the future this knowledge should be combined with the benefits of nutritional programs to see the overall effects on motor skills and body composition in people with ID, so future research examining long-term positive sides is necessary.

Purpose: The aim of the study was to assess physical and motor development of male students in relation to their place of permanent residence and monthly budget. Material and Methods: The research was conducted in 2012 and involved 361 male students. Physical development was assessed on the basis of the students' body mass and height as well as their BMI. In order to determine the level of motor development, 13 motor tests were applied. Results: It was stated that neither the students' body mass nor their BMI was significantly differentiated by their place of permanent residence or their monthly budget. In the vast majority of motor tests no relationship was observed between the students’ results and the place of permanent residence. Monthly budget was observed to significantly differentiate the level of motor fitness in the majority of motor tests. Conclusions: The students’ monthly budget more significantly than their place of permanent residence affects the students’ physical activity, and in consequence, their motor fitness.

Growth and development are influenced by some internal and external factors in which physical activity plays an important role. Material and method: The study was carried out on 151 students from two schools in Suceava county. The physical development and motor skills of the students were appreciated. Results and discussions: Student height is predominantly average (69.53%) as well as body weight (67.54%).In the females there are no very high and pathological values for weight, so the calculated differences are statistically significant at a p>0.05. There are 17.80% overweight pupils but also 10.59% underweight, the differences calculated being statistically insignificant (p> 0.05). At the trunk extension sample, 5.29% results appear below the scale of vote 5/10, the differences calculated being statistically insignificant (p> 0.05). 23.17% of the results of the length jump appear under vote 5/10, but the differences calculated by sex are significant at a p˂0.001. Conclusions: The motor skills are different depending on the demands imposed by the test carried out and sometimes according to sex

Purpose : to analyze the influence of physical qualities of foreign female students on their adaptation to physical activity. It is suggested to apply an individually-differentiated training program for this purpose. Material and methods : the comparative analysis of foreign female students from Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan (n = 60) - an experimental group and females from Russian regions (n = 119) - a control group. It was applied the standards of the All-Russian sports complex "Ready for Labour and Defence" by levels (bronze, silver and gold badges) to determine the physical development level. It was applied the system of intragroup rating, which includes monitoring of students' activity at each practical class of physical education. Mathematical and statistical data processing was performed applying Chi-square (c2) at p<0.001, p<0.01 and p<0.05. Results : the speed and flexibility qualities are not sufficiently developed in students from Near Abroad. Comparative monitoring statistically proved the positive impact of the experiment on the implementation of the author's individually-differentiated program. The study significantly revealed that foreign female students statistically improved performance indicators of individual physical development. Female students adapted to the implementation of the educational process of physical education in the multicultural environment of the university. Conclusions : the application of the coordination qualities development program allowed to statistically prove its more significant effect in comparison with the program of speed qualities improving. The students' dexterity development program could be applied in the process of adaptation to the physical activity at the university.

The article deals with the problems of the development of physical qualities, physical fitness of future specialists of the agro-industrial complex. The significance of physical activity on the level of physical fitness is revealed. The assessment of the level of health of students, the level of physical fitness is made. The features of the activity of specialists of the agro-industrial complex are considered. It is stated that successful professional activity of specialists requires from graduates theoretical knowledge, functional stability, physical fitness, professionally important mental qualities. The results of the control standards for the requirements of the university are analyzed. The article gives an assessment of the development of the main motor qualities. Research methods. In the course of the study, the results were analyzed. We used search, analysis, generalization of methodological literature; we used a survey, a method of control tests. The results of the study. According to the results of the survey to identify the level of health, a high indicator was recorded, having any deviations in the state of health of a permanent or temporary nature. When passing the control standards of the university, the level of development of physical qualities and physical fitness was revealed. It is concluded that the average level of development of speed, agility, and strength is recorded. Endurance and flexibility have a low level of physical development. Physical fitness is an indicator of the general condition, level of health, physical development, development of basic physical qualities.

The University of Florida / IFAS South Florida Beef Forage Program (SFBFP) is composed of county Extension faculty and state specialists.  The members, in conjunction with the UF/IFAS Program Evaluation and Organizational Development unit, created a survey in 1982, which is used to evaluate ranch management practices.  The survey is updated and distributed every 5 years to ranchers in 14 South Florida counties: Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Martin, Okeechobee, Polk, and Sarasota.  The responses are anonymous.

AbstractIntroduction: The aim of the physical activity of the intellectually disabled is the strengthening of health, creating movement habits, promoting active recreation, and maintaining exercise capacity. Skillfully applied physical activity allows to mitigate the effects of pathology and create the compensations to enable the intellectually disabled people to live relatively independently. Physical activity and sport also increase their chances to integrate with their families, peers, and social environment.Materials and methods: The research targeted a group of 134 people with moderate or considerable intellectual disability (65 women and 69 men), aged 20-53 years, who participated in occupational therapy workshops in Jastrzębie Zdrój, Rybnik, and Żory. Physical fitness was assessed using the “Eurofit Special” test and balance tests. Measurements of body height and mass were also taken and then used to calculate the body mass index (BMI).Results: A salient somatic trait was the greater body mass relative to height among the persons with considerable disability, clearly illustrated by the BMI. This explained their greater heaviness in performing physical exercises. An even greater difference between participants with moderate and considerable intellectual disability was visible in physical fitness. Obviously, older persons did not achieve as good results in fitness tests as the younger ones, yet the participants were more differentiated by the level of disability than age. Most symptomatic differences to the disadvantage of the considerably disabled were observed in explosive strength, speed, abdominal muscle strength, and flexibility. Conclusions: Significant differences in fitness between the compared groups make it necessary to take into account the level of intellectual disability in the course of physical education and sport, at work, and in household duties.
