The application of Information Technology (IT) has now spread in almost all fields including in the field of libraries. The library as an information management institution is one of the fields of rapid application of information technology. The size of the development of many types of libraries is measured from the application of information technology that is used and not from other size scales such as the size of the building used, the number of collections available and the number of users. The need for IT is closely related to the role of libraries as a force in the preservation and dissemination of information on science and culture that develops along with writing, printing, educating and the human need for information. The application of information technology in the library can be used in two forms. First, the application of information technology is used as a Library Management Information System. Second, the application of information technology as a means to store, obtain and disseminate scientific information in digital format. Both functions of the application of information technology can be separate or integrated, depending on an information system and the ability of the software used. This paper tries to see how the application and management of library software is implemented.

Academic Information System (AIS) is a form of information technology in the form of software services in the education process including academic information. To get a good AIS services, it needs good governance, including IT support, service for IT users as well as continuity of care. Sunan Kalijaga UIN has adequate information technology support used in academic services for users. Audit SIA is needed to fit the IT governance framework and standards of Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT). COBIT is standard because it is the most complete guide of best practices in IT management because it has a very good compromise in the breadth of coverage and detail of management's processes. Referring to one of the domains in COBIT is to Deliver and Support the domain that has the focus in his ministry. This study has implemented almost all IT activities and has a maturity level of 2.56, which means IT Academic Information System is approaching Defined Process management. This suggests that the activities of the Deliver and Support domain have been applied, but have not had formal procedures in writing and well documented.

Republic of Indonesia The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in Tuban Regency inmanaging tourism sector is still minimal because it still displays a less attractive website to attract travelers when theywant to vacation in Tuban Regency. The purpose of this program is to develop the Tuban Regency Tourism systemby using website because this can make it easier for people who really need it in finding tourism objects in Tuban.We used an observation as the first instrument by observing Tuban regency from many sides, interviewedsome tourists which visited Tuban more than once, and read some articles from journals and books.The role of Communication and Information Technology Department in Tuban Regency is a key to successin Tuban Smart City in 2021. Tuban as City Smart, making integrated applications in both the tourism sector and other parts, this activity has become increasingly important in order to meet the twenty-first century which is all digital.

The role of information systems and information technology is indispensable in a variety of fields of work and human resources required to have good quality so it could use the technology appropriately. The library is space that contained a lot of catalogs needed for learning and teachingas media seek knowledge and insight for students and lecturer, then the required information system that can hold all the information about then added data quickly and accurately. Therefore, the library shoidbeable to capitaliz on the presence of information technology to improve the quality of its services. It takes a strategic planning of information systems/information technology that isusedas the basis for the construction of an idea information system and in accordance with user needs.Strategic planning of information systems at the Library STMIK Palangka Raya using the methodology Wardand Peppard (Ward, 2002). With the strategic planning of the library can analyze and evaluate theexisting potential of the entire surroundings of the library in order to develop them selves in accordance with the progress of informationand communication technology as well as libraries have a guide in theform of strategies that should be run in the field of informationtechnolog y to improve its performance.It has a good performance of the library will be able to provide acompetitive advantage for the Organization so that it can continue tocompete in today's global era.

Waste today is the most influential factor on the environment, it can not be denied that the waste will always exist as long as the activity of life is still running. Law no. 18 Year 2008 on trash  management explains  about  the  need  to  change  the  pattern  of  conventional trash management into trash management which is based on trash reduction and handling. The role of Bank Trash becomes important as one of the organizations that is expected to be able to carry out the task to be able to provide an active solution to the trash problem in Prabumulih City. This study aims to analyze the condition of information systems and information technology (IS / TI), in the Trash Bank environtment. Trash Bank Prabumulih City was chosen as the object of research because the existence of garbage bank becomes a very important requirement at this time. The literature review is used as a method in reviewing journals to determine the role of information systems and information technology (IS / IT) in optimizing interactions between organizations, customers and the wider community. This research produces information about the condition of information system and information technology (IS / IT) in Prabumulih Trash Bank so it can help give solution in an effort to increase the role of Information System and Information Technology in supporting the operational activity of Prabumulih Trash Bank.

The coronavirus pandemic or COVID 19 resulted in the disruption of almost all sectors of human life, ranging from the health, social, and economic life of the community. The goal that this activity wants to achieve is to increase the creativity and economy of the community in the mids of the spread of the COVID 19 outbreak. Special targets that want to be achieved are: (1) increasing the role of the community in creating entrepreneurship in the midst the COVID 19 outbreak, (2) improving people's ability to innovate by creating business ideas that suit the conditions amid during in the COVID 19 outbreak, and (3) the formation of a resilient society against the COVID 19 pandemic. The role of information technology is very important for the progress of a company, by using information technology, strategic planning for the company's development will be better, some companies will definitely take advantage of information technology for the progress of their companies, this is also used for Toko baju Surabaya cabang Surakarta. This shop is a company engaged in the sale of clothing, this company uses the SmartConsole application to support sales. However, there are still sectors in this company that have not implemented an information system, one of which is in the section on stock data collection and payroll. Therefore, an appropriate IS / IT strategic planning is needed. This research was conducted using the Ward and Peppard method with SWOT analysis, Five Forces Porter, and McFarlan Strategic Grid. The output produced from this study is in the form of strategic recommendations from the results of the internal and external environmental analysis of the company's information system, as well as a proposal for an Information System to be mapped using the McFarlan Strategic Grid to be applied to companies in the next two years.
