Background and Study Aim. To determine the influence of the level of static balance on the competitive activity of athletes aged 17-21 in beach volleyball. Material and Methods. The study involved athletes aged 17-21 years, who play beach volleyball in the Kherson region. The research was focused on the main indicators: the total number of serves, passes, tactical strikes, blocks, and how the development of static balance affects the level of their performance. Results. Acrobatic exercises in training activities for special physical training positively contributed to the increase in the samples of Bondarevsky (p <0.05), Romberg (p <0.05) and Yarotsky (p <0.05). Samples with different nature of the work performed reflect different aspects of static equilibrium: samples of Bondarevsky and Yarotsky most reflect the nature of the work performed during the competitive activities of athletes; Romberg's test only partially corresponds to these indicators. Conclusions. The proposed methodological approach significantly affects the performance of competitive activities and is directly related to the quality of tactical strikes, high-level performance in defense and the number of serves. The results of the study indicate the difference in samples with different nature of the work. Overstrain of the vestibular centers can negatively affect the quality of tactical strikes in the attack and blocking.

This study investigates the effectiveness of online task support (the wizard type in particular) relative to instructor-led training, and explores the underlying cognitive process in terms of the development of mental models. Ninety-two novice users of Microsoft Access were either trained by an experienced instructor or performed exercises with online task support, and then completed a variety of performance-based tests. Analysis shows that users of online task support tended to outperform instructor-trained individuals on high-level tasks, whereas the performance difference on low-level tasks was not significant. The cognitive processes underlying the difference are also noteworthy. Task support users were more likely to develop conceptual mental models as opposed to procedural ones, which accounted for their better high-level performance. Mental model completeness was also found to be closely associated with performance on both low and high-level tasks. These findings offer support for increased use of online task support.

The title of the article. Management of the training process includes a set of measures that allows the coach to purposefully translate the state of the athlete's body from the original to the planned. As a criterion for the effectiveness of the volleyball player's game activity, the accuracy of spatial, temporal and force parameters is considered, the appropriate combination of which is a source of increasing the result. Achieving high sports results by volleyball players is possible provided that a single system is used in training, aimed at the integrity of the development of all the qualities necessary for competitive activities. The effectiveness of the main game actions is based on the close relationship between the level of development of speed and power qualities, technical and tactical equipment and is the basis of high motor activity of volleyball players. Realization of tactical potential is based on speed of reaction and speed of actions and movements. In order to study the general and special physical fitness of students of non-core institutions of higher education, an analysis of the results of the annual assessment of physical youth aged 17-18 after the first and second years of study. Training in volleyball according to the developed program contributed to a high level of development of speed and strength qualities. The use of speed-strength exercises as the main means of technical and tactical training of students - volleyball players, allows to increase the level of their speed and strength qualities, technical and tactical potential and efficiency of the whole training process and as a result - the quality of competitive activities.

Many researchers have found that the nature of the grain size distribution makes it possible to assume the regularity of such a distribution, despite the difference in the physical properties of minerals. There are quite a large number of approximating functions for describing the regularities of the separation of coal and mineral complexes by size, obtained experimentally. There is a need to develop a new methodological approach and tools for selecting the best approximation function. The paper presents the results of predicting the total size characteristics of anthracites of the Krasnogorsky mine by the RRSB, Pogosov, and Weining functions. The quality of the approximation is estimated by the value of the standard deviation. It is established that the Weining formula allows us to calculate with a minimum error the granulometric composition of anthracites of the named deposit in the range of fineness from 0 to 150 mm.

At present, a significant amount of research has been performed to study the motor activity of football players in the conditions of competitions, as a result of which data on the nature and scope of players' actions both with and without the ball have been obtained. The article considers the structure of technical and tactical actions of qualified football players in competitive activities at the stage of preparation for higher achievements, taking into account the role of the game. The technical and tactical actions of football players in competitive activities are analyzed, taking into account the game role. The results of the study of the structure of technical and tactical actions of qualified football players at the stage of preparation for higher achievements in competitive activities, taking into account the role of the game allowed to establish a high level of performance of almost all techniques, largely due to team functions. It is determined that the maximum possible indicators at the stage of preparation for higher achievements are largely due to the course of natural age development. In the process of attacking actions, players use from 2 to 14 passes. Tactical combinations in 2-4 passes more often lead to taking the goal. As the number of passes increases, the effectiveness of the attacks decreases. Work on improving the relevant physical qualities can be effective only if the time coincides with purposeful intense training with the peak of age development of a certain quality. It is proved that at this stage it is necessary to gradually increase the level of general and special physical training of football players aged 19-20, taking into account individual characteristics and game role.

The aim is to study the peculiarities of technical and tactical actions of volleyball players of various playing roles of the VK "Murov" team. Material and Methods: The study involved 14 players of various playing roles, playing in the women's volleyball team "Murov" (Azerbaijan). All volleyball players have a high level of fitness and have participated in competitions of various levels. The age range of female volleyball players ranges from 18 years old (libero) to 28 years old (binder). The most experienced in the team are the tie players (26 years old) and the least the libero (19 years old). Study duration: December 2019 February 2020. In the course of the study, the following methods were used: analysis of video recordings of the games of the women's volleyball team "Murov", which were recorded during the Azerbaijan championship competitions of the 2019-2020 season; methods for assessing technical and tactical actions during competitive activity; methods of mathematical statistics. Results. It has been experimentally proved that the level of technical and tactical readiness of high-class volleyball players significantly differs depending on the playing role. The largest number of attacking strikes falls on the diagonal players (20-25 strikes per game), and the efficiency of their execution is better for the central blockers (60-75%). Identical data were obtained when comparing the quantity and quality of blocking actions. The center blockers make 17 blocks on average, and the diagonal ones make 15 blocks. A significant advantage in receiving the ball is observed in the libero (from 37 to 40 receptions per game). The effectiveness and number of feeds depends on the complexity of their implementation. The largest total number of TTDs (about 78 actions) and the number of transfers from above (about 50 transfers) falls on the main conductor of the team  of the connecting player. Conclusions: the role of universal training of female volleyball players is more and more important, and the determination of the features of competitive activity and the development of the necessary arsenal of technical and tactical actions of players of all playing roles is the leading direction in modern volleyball. However, the question of improving the training system in volleyball and the problem of early selection of female volleyball players, as well as the universalization of their TTD to perform the most useful functions during the game, remains unresolved. All the above is a prospect for further research.
