This study aims to explain how the use of word of mouth communication <em>(getok tular)</em> and the rational behind the usege as a method of da’wah within Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI). This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. The results of the study revealed that the word of mouth communication was applied for two activities, namely as a method of delivering da’wah messages and as a method of cadre with a chain system to official members who were stratified based on the study book or HTI curriculum. The reason why HTI used word of mouth communication as a method of da’wah was because of the effectiveness and efficiency factors as well as sociocultural factors.

Appropriate counseling and education can be adopted to achieve a change in attitude, knowledge and perception. Still there is a wrong perception of a given intervention. Peer support through a process of social learning, the process of growing understanding of how to process information from experience, observational include: attention (attention), given (retention), reproduction of motion (reproduction), motivation (motivation), and communication. The purpose of this study was to analyze resident self-efficacy to regardless of drug addiction through family support. This study employed qualitative approach with case study design. Subjects in this study were residents, ex drugs user, peer support, and resident family. The results showed that peer support from fellow residents and the support of the major on duty (MOD) very meaningful and helpful for resident in the healing process.

The article describes and analyzes ta’lim ma’hadi in al-Hikam Malang Student Islamic Boarding School and the values implemented to develop the moderate character of the mahasantri religion. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. The data in this study were taken through interviews, observation, and document techniques. This study indicates that the al-Hikam Malang student boarding school uses three strategies in religious moderation, namely, nurturing patterns, teaching patterns, and religious patterns. The three strategies are integral in the curriculum that is implemented there. Through the applied curriculum, kyai and asatidz as qudwah hasanah internalize the values of justice, balance, harmony, moderation. As well as being a moderate Muslim, the mahasantri al-Hikam graduate is expected to become a successful entrepreneur.

Attitude is essential issue to be considered in designing an appropriate learning for learners because it greatly affects the performance and implementation of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. One of the most important attitudes to be explored is the willingness of teachers to implement the curriculum set by the government. This study aims to determine the willingness of English teachers to carry out scientific approach and also to know the implementation of scientific approach in the learning. This research applies qualitative approach with case study design. It is conducted in SMAN 1 Situbondo with three teachers become the informants. Interview and observation are implemented to explore the willingness and the implementation of Scientific Approach. Data analysis in this research using Spradley’s method. From this research, it can be seen that the teachers has enough willingness to apply scientific approach totally. Furthermore, the implementation of scientific approach has been implemented well enough and has implemented it in accordance with government regulation.

This study aimed at investigating the synonym on Wanci Dialect (WD) in Kepulauan Tukang Besi Language (KTBL) at Liya Togo village. The research questions of this study were “What are the forms of synonym and how are the synonyms of KTBL used? ‟.  Relating to the research question above, the researcher formulates two main objectives namely: to describe clearly the synonym found in WD and the use of every synonym in WD. The researcher used a qualitative approach with a case study design. The data found out from the informants. The utility of this research is as additional information about synonym found in WD to increase and maintain the local language. This  research  only  focuses on noun, verb and adjective categories. The Result of this research shows that in Kepulauan Tukang Besi where Wanci dialect spoken especially at Liya Togo Village, there were  nine  nouns  that  are  synonymous.  Then,  there  were  three adjectives that are synonymous. In addition, there were fifteen verbs that are synonymous.

In the past people identified the dayak, especially sub ethnic of Kanayatn as Christians or Catholics. By the time and the rapid progress of the Kanayatn communities in their religious aspect, there was also a change of faith. Since the 1980s several Kanayatn people started converting to Islam or mualaf. To reveal how the existence of those who live as minority Muslims in the midst of the Kanayatn who are still Christian or Catholic, this study was done using a qualitative approach with a case study design. The location of the study was in the remote area in West Kalimantan, precisely in Sidas Village, Sengah Temilah District, Landak Regency.  Result of the study showed that after the Kanayatn people converted to Islam, they are experiencing a breakdown of identity. Their existence is accepted by halfhearted both by the Kanayatn and Malay communities. The Malay community in general are still perpetuating them as "converts". Meanwhile the Kanayatn community (Christian community) considers them as Malay or descendant of Malay. Nevertheless, Kanayatn people who convert to Islam try to maintain their identity as Kanayatn people who are Muslim or in short Muslim Kanayatn. Other findings show that as the minority where they are lack of religious guidance, the Muslim community of Sidas Village must be smart in responding to the situation so that they can survive and coexist peacefully among of the  Christian majority.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Manajemen Pembelajaran Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan di SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya, pada aspek: a) perencanaan pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan, b) pelaksanaan pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan, serta c) penilaian pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakasek kurikulum, guru mata pelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan serta tiga orang peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan. Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan yang ada di SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya sudah terlaksana dengan baik yang dibuktikan dengan adanya perencanaan pembelajaran yang sistematis serta sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku; pelaksanaan pembelajaran telah dilakukan dengan metode-metode pembelajaran yang variatif dimana lebih menekankan pada proses menemukan serta memecahkan masalah yang artinya peserta didik dituntut untuk lebih kreatif dan mampu berinovasi dalam menghasilkan jenis-jenis prakarya dan keterampilan; serta penilaian pembelajaran yang menggunakan penilaian otentik sesuai standar kompetensi lulusan, sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Abstract: This study aims to describe the Management of Craft and Entrepreneurship Learning at Public Senior High School 2 Palangka Raya, in the following aspects: a) planning for craft and entrepreneurship learning, b) implementing hand-crafted learning and entrepreneurship, and c) assessment of craft and entrepreneurship learning. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Sources of data in this study were the principal, curriculum vice principal, craft and entrepreneurship subject teachers as well as three students who took craft and entrepreneurship learning. The results of this study indicate that the management of craft learning and entrepreneurship in Public Senior High School 2 Palangka Raya has been carried out well, as evidenced by the existence of systematic learning planning and in accordance with applicable regulations; the implementation of learning has been carried out with varied learning methods which emphasize the process of finding and solving problems, which means that students are required to be more creative and able to innovate in producing types of crafts and skills; and learning assessment using authentic assessment according to the competency standards of graduates, attitudes, knowledge and skill. This article aims to explain: (1) the factors that caused students ofthe PBA FTK UIN Mataram departemen difficulties in writing Arabic theses,(2) management of majors in improving the ability to write Arabic-languagethesis students of PBA FTK UIN Mataram departemen. The approach usedin this study was a qualitative approach with a case study design. The datasources in this study were students majoring in PBA departemen, PBA alumni,and permanent lecturers majoring in PBA. Data collection techniques usedwere interviews, documentation studies and observations while data analysiswas carried out using descriptive-qualitative analysis techniques. The resultsof this study are: (1) The causes of students majoring in PBA FTK UINMataram departemen difficulties in writing Arabic theses are (a) input,many PBA students come from high school or public school with minimalbasic language. (b) the willingness to speak Arabic in students is still low. (c)department policies are still not firm, namely still giving students the freedomto write Indonesian theses. (d) department facilities and infrastructureare still minimal, namely Arabic books or references are still lacking. (2)Management of majors in improving the ability to write Arabic theses forstudents majoring in PBA FTK UIN mataram namely (a) Growing interestand providing awareness to students. (b) Making policies requires studentsto write Arabic language theses and strive for students to communicate inArabic, at least when in PBA. (c) Making teaching materials for all subjects inPBA majors. (d) Implementing the IQF curriculum. (e) Carry out produckbasedpracticum activities. (f ) Making guidelines for Arabic thesis writing

This research aims to reveal the steps of defining quality in the teaching of Arabic language. This research used qualitative approach by case study design to analyze the steps of defining quality  in the teaching of Arabic language. To collect the data used observation, interview and documents. And to analyze the data used Milles and Hubberman analysis. The results of this research mean: (1) the steps of defining quality  in the teaching of Arabic language in Madrasa Tsanawiya  are: Planning step: setting goals, the rule  for the teacher and supervisor, the process of teaching Arabic in the classroom, evaluation, language activities and language environment . Implementation step: The teaching process took place in the Arabic language by accomplishing the educational goals and teaching materials by  teaching methods and media, and doing the evaluatio.. Evaluation step: doing the internal evaluation  is the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual evaluation.  Improvement step: by increase language activities.
