<p>BAHASA INDONESIA:</p><p>Tulisan ini berusaha memotret pemikiran pendidikan moral menurut Nasih Ulwan dan relevansinya dalam menjawab problematika manusia modern. Dalam perspektif Nasih Ulwan, pendidikan moral merupakan serangkaian prinsip dasar moral dan keutamaan sikap serta watak (tabiat) yang harus dimiliki dan dijadikan kebiasaan oleh anak sejak masa pemula hingga ia menjadi seorang mukallaf, yakni siap mengarungi lautan kehidupan. Di era modern, persoalan yang muncul adalah persoalan fisik dan psikis. Persoalan fisik mengarah pada pengkondisian manusia sebagai objek dari segala produk iptek. Sementara itu persoalan psikis mengarah pada pendangkalan nilai-nilai moral-spiritual akibat dari dominasi produk iptek modern yang skuler. Salah satu problem mendasar di negeri ini adalah krisis moral dan kepercayaan. Krisis tersebut berawal dari ketidakjujuran aparatur Negara dalam menjalankan amanahnya sebagai pemegang kebijakan. Perilaku korupsi dan sejenisnya adalah cermin dari sikap suka bohong, suka mencuri, kenakalan dan penyimpangan. Oleh karena itu ajaran moral Nasih Ulwan amat relevan jika diterapkan di negeri ini demi menjawab problem krisis moral dan kepercayaan yang terjadi.</p><p> </p><p>ENGLISH:</p><p>This paper concerned in moral education thought based on Nasih Ulwan and its relevance in answering the problems of human modern. From Ulwan’s perspective, moral education is a set of moral basic principle and the primacy of attitude and character (nature) which has to be owned and used as habit by children since they are young until become mukallaf, is ready to face the world. In modern era, the issue which emerges is a physical and psychic problem. Physical issue leads to conditioning a human as an object of all the products of science and technology. Meanwhile, psychic problem leads to the silting up of moral-spiritual value caused by the dominance of modern science and technology products. One of the fundamental problems in this country is a moral crisis and faithful. The crisis started from the dishonesty of country’s apparatures in carrying out their mandate as the policy controller. The corruption, and its relation, is the reflective of dishonesty, thieving, delinquency, and irregularities. Therefore, moral learning by Ulwan is very relevant if applied in this country in order to answer the moral crisis problem and trust which is occurred.</p>

The decline of Islamic science is seen as impacts of al-Gazālī’s criticism to philosophy and controversy surrounding the thought of al-Gazālī and Ibn Rushd. During the Golden Age in the medieval period, Muslim scholars and philosophers had been the world references for science and technology development. They lost this legacy because they embraced orthodoxy rather than rationality. Al-Gazālī had written a book called Tahāfut al-Falāsifah (The Collapse or Inconsistence of the Philosophers) which criticised Islamic philosophers especially Ibn Sīnā and Al-Fārābī. Later after the death of al-Gazālī, Ibn Rushd wrote book tahāfut al-tahāfut which commented on al-Gazālī’s book Tahāfut al-falāsifah. It was arguing over Muslims should advance in science and technology in this modern era as it was evident during the Golden Age Islamic Era (the 7th up to the 13th centuries) whereby Muslims were the world references in science and technology development. However, after the period Muslims abandoned rationality and have remained so up to the present. This situation caused Islamic thoughts to move from rationality to orthodoxy. Al-Gazālī has been considered as the cause of the decline in Islamic Thought as he critiqued Islamic philosophers especially Ibn Sīnā and al-Fārābī in his book Tahāfut al-Falāsifah. This article discusses the problem of education according to E. Fink and E. Levinas. In Fink’s opinion, education should acquaint young people with basic phenomena of human being, and introduce them to the problems of the being as a whole, immortality, culture and history. The basic method that should be used in education is the game method. According to Levinas, education should acquaint young people with The Other, with its uniqueness and originality. Respect and preservation of otherness is the basic principle in his philosophy. Moral education can only be realized as religious education, and communication with The Other can be achieved though prayer. Religious education is what can introduce a person to the history and culture of the world.

The discourse about building an educational paradigm that is suitable for application in pesantren institutions is still interesting to discuss. Many conceptual offers have been presented. This is closely related to the role of pesantren in the modern era with its complexities and problems. Traditional and modern Islamic boarding schools are considered inadequate in responding to the challenges of the times between pragmatic needs and the fulfillment of the moral-spiritual dimension. For this reason, this article intends to offer a pesantren education paradigm that combines traditional and modern components. That the integrated paradigm based on al-Muhafazah 'ala al-Qadim al-Salih wa al-Akhd bi al-Jadid al-Aslah is expected to be able to alleviate the complexity of the education system implemented in Islamic boarding schools. At the very least, this offer is the first step towards a future pesantren with the spirit of salih li kulli zaman wa al-makan; have sensitivity and care about the development of the world. In turn, they are able to produce competent individuals, both in the field of faith and piety and also competence in the field of science and technology (science and technology).

This paper discuse about moral innovation education based qolbu management, the occurrence of acts violence lately is a phenomenon that we often witness. In fact it almost always adorns mass media information. An example is the fight between students, rape, arson, murder, slaughter, and other anarchist acts. That is one of the phenomena of moral crisis which is now affecting our nation. Besides that, there are still many other moral crises, such as drinking, drug abuse, bribery and so on. The multi-dimensional crisis that befell this nation, one of the causes - and perhaps this is the most important cause - is due to a moral or moral crisis. The moral crisis occurs because most people no longer want to heed religious guidance. The Qolbu Management-Based Moral Education Innovation is a new idea or method offered by the author to be used in implementing moral education. And it is hoped that this new idea or method can improve the quality of moral education which is felt to be declining today. The way to do qolbu management-based moral education innovation is to always adorn oneself from praiseworthy qualities, after cleansing it from despicable traits, removing love for the world and eliminating all sorrow, grief and worries

<p>Globalization barrage pass major changes to the world order as a whole. This era is characterized by the process of life worldwide, the advancement of science and technology, especially in the field of communication as well as the transformation and cross-cultural. Changes brought about by globalization are also experienced by the world of education with teachers as practitioners. Challenges faced by teachers in the global era, such as the development of science and technology are so rapid and fundamental; moral crisis that swept the nation and the<br />state, social crisis and a crisis of identity as a nation. All that obviously requires prospective teachers and qualified professionals. Teacher education programs must be able to provide excellent service to the students so that they can esta-<br />blish qualified teacher. In the light of these warnings from two philosophers who are attended to very carefully by contemporary theologians it might be expected that theologians would use the term “experience” with considerable caution. Exactly the opposite, however, seems to be the case. Contemporary theologians are talking a great deal about experience and, as we shall see, without much clarity or precision. This is probably the result of the swing of the theological pendulum to the left in the latter half of this century. It is also probably determined by the “hunger for experience” (Gadamer, Biersdorf) which has emerged in Western culture since the sixties. This in turn I take to be an aspect of a contemporary romantic movement which, like its predecessor in the last century, is marked by a reaction against the effects of modern science and technology and their accompanying secularism and rationalization of society, and by a longing for a deeper experience of the self, the world, and the divine.
