<p><em>The post-reform moral crisis shows that the achievement of moral competence processed at school has not been able to result the optimal output to the moral awareness generation development of nation. This condition such that begun from verbalistic growth culture from the learning process which inclines to only teach moral education as the textual limitation. That phenomenon and fact cause many sides conclude that the importance of character education implementation intensively as the essence of moral awareness generation development. This perspective places moral as the main environment aspect which decides generation characterization. Therefore, moral awareness should be learned intently and progressed or developed by character education applicatively. When the first time of implementation of character education in the school environment, it needs to do by the moral conditioning then continue to the moral training. The Design Character education like this has a function as systemic moral ideas in progressing the generation moral awareness which is able to supply young generation with moral intelligence competence and character.</em></p>

Nowadays, the moral degradation of Muslim young generation is really in a sad matter. However, various negative effects coming from the outer part has caused moral crisis till brought this generation fallen into the depths of misery. For the sake of facing and challenging the negative influence of new century with all its sophisticated of its technology and its development, and to make this generation awake from this backwardness, moral education becomes the single way and solution which must be gone through to construct Islamic personality. That’s the way the writer saw it was so important one to discuss the method of moral education in constructing personality according to Islam.

Abstract: The development of the globalization era not only has positive impacts but also negative impacts. It is important to strengthen students' character because globalization hurts the development of the character of the young generation. This study aims to describe the implementation of full-day school policy by instilling the value of strengthening character education (PPK) in SMAN 2 Katingan Hilir. The method in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. The informant selection technique in this study uses purposive sampling, which includes the School Principal, Vice Principal in the Curriculum and Student Affairs, Islamic Agana Education teacher, Citizenship Education teacher, and 5 students. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of full-day school policies by planting PPK values in SMAN 2 Katingan Hilir is carried out through extracurricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Two PPK values are the focus of this research, namely cooperation that can be seen from the students to always work together to apply to help each other, hand in hand to clean and maintain the cleanliness of the school environment. While the value of independence seen from students in doing everything so it is not easy to depend on others.Keywords: Implementation of policies, Full Day School, Strengthening Character Education Abstrak: Perkembangan era globalisasi tidak hanya memberikan dampak yang positif tetapi juga dampak negatif. Penting untuk memberikan penguatan karakter siswa karena globalisasi memiliki dampak negatif terhadap perkembangan karakter generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kebijakan full day school dengan penanaman nilai penguatan pendidikan karakter (PPK) di SMAN 2 Katingan Hilir. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemilihan informan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling, yaitu meliputi Kepala Sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum dan kesiswaan, guru Pendidikan Agana Islam, guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, dan 5 orang siswa Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan full day school dengan penanaman nilai PPK di SMAN 2 Katingan Hilir dilakukan melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler, ko-kurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler. Ada dua nilai PPK yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini yaitu gotong royong yang dapat dilihat dari diri peserta didik untuk selalu berkerja sama menerapkan untuk saling membantu satu sama lain, saling bahu membahu membersihkan dan menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekolah. Sedangkan nilai mandiri dilihat dari peserta didik dalam melakukan segala hal agar tidak mudah bergantung pada orang lain.Kata kunci: Implementasi kebijakan, Full Day School, Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter

Character education in New Normal Era based on a local wisdom approach is a solution to managing  education polemic that has been affected by  Covid-19 pandemic. One of  local wisdom approaches is through  G12 (Gurindam Dua Belas) approach which is  local wisdom of ethnic Malays as well as didactic literary works.  classification of  G12 document is used as an effort to strengn  character of  nation. Various problems of  character of  nation's children in  New Normal era such as moral decadence, sexual disorders, acts of plagiarism, excessive love for social media in  younger generation have become a moral crisis that disturbs  world of education, family and society, so re is a need for value development. To organize values, Gurindam Dua Belas is a solution that is implemented through habituation and exemplary. This research method is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach,  researcher collects primary sources and secondary sources related to  discussion, analyzes  contents of G12 and  results of G12 consist of 12 articles, containing  values of Islamic teachings, especially values.  purpose of this study is to describe  values that exist in Gurindam 12.  results obtained include: a) making an effort to introduce and foster local ethnic Malay wisdom, b) to describe  character education of Gurindam 12 and  values in it, se values include: not lying, prohibition of cursing and criticizing, gentle hands, patient, gentle, sincere, guarding heart, love to give, thrifty, polite, trustworthy, diligent, obedient to  mor and far and study hard. c) Growing and fostering  values of Gurindam 12 in students.  conclusion of this study is that  values of G12 need to be actualized continuously by  community and  young generation in all ir life activities in order to become individuals with Gurindam 12 characteristics.

The methodology of pedagogical actions within the process of moral education of personality is a part of basic, theoretical and empirical researches in pedagogy. When it is referred to moral training, it is primarily referred to the moral aspect of pedagogical actions affecting the development of personality - the formation of moral awareness as a characteristic of a certain individual’s values. Moral education of personality refers to the moral behaviour and action, the formation of attitudes and the development of moral reasonable interests, the introduction to the moral norms and demands, as well as the process of development of a personality’s moral traits. Moral capacity is expressed through the evaluation of moral acts and through moral action while being in accordance with intellectual capability and developmental logic. The educational role of school can be discussed in general or in a more specific way, depending on the extent up to which the school can contribute to the process of moralisation of individuals and the accomplishment of tasks of moral education. Primary and secondary schools in Serbia do not have moral education as a separate subject, but the curriculum sets certain specific tasks which should be accomplished through classes and all extracurricular activities. In accordance with that, this paper focuses on the problematisation of analysing the role of a teacher in moral education and personality development, as well as the analysis of the attitudes of teachers about the necessity of a separate subject or, at least, a “hidden curriculum” in schools which would refer to moral education. The factorisation of measurement variables shows that the awareness of teachers about techniques and methods of moral education and learning should be heightened, which provides a good direction towards a new research. The obtained results have helped us clarify the general problematisation of moral education, and it is believed that they will contribute to overcoming and advancing the existing situation of the school system in Serbia. This qualitative research was conducted to determine the implementation of character education in MIN Gamol, Kecandran, Salatiga. The research problem are how the concept of character education in MI is, how are the methods and strategies of character education, and what are the factors supporting and inhibiting the process of maintaining character education. Research data was collected by interviews which related to the informants, documentation, and field observations. The result shows that the concept of character education in MIN Gamol, Kecandran, Salatiga generally understood as moral education or good moral as a part of character education is less discussed. The emphasized main values are religious, discipline, responsibility, patriotism, nationalism spirit, and achievement appreciation. The method to accustomed character education in MIN Gamol is integrated in all subjects by performing some strategies with habituation, exemplary, discipline, observation and home visit. The educational character is supporting by a young and vibrant teacher, exemplary by school leaders, and students who are ready to respond the tasks from the teacher. The completeness of published documents and the attention of the foundation committee and parents also influence the goals to success. While the inhibiting factors are limited control power of teachers, lack of teachers counseling, inactive parenting club, the condition of school environment and less of parental attention.

Design can be formulated as a deliberate process of thinking, planning and selecting the parts, techniques, and procedures that set a goal. Challenges to Islamic religious education include a moral crisis and a personality crisis. Therefore, Islamic religious education is required to be able to equip students with the moral, personality, quality and maturity of life to live a multi-cultural nation life, which is currently hit by an economic crisis in order to livepeacefully in the world community.In an effort to develop an Islamic education curriculum to overcome various challenges and problems, it is necessary to pay attention to several aspects including strategies, methods, materials, Islamic religious teacher resources, facilities, teaching media and supporting instruments.Taking into account the demands of the globalization era of Islamic religious education in madrasas and public schools, it is necessary to implement several strategies, including: First, perfecting the religious education curriculum so that the subject matter reaches a proportional and functional composition but does not burden students. Second, combining religious material with character education materials such as PPKn or other related subjects can also erode thedichotomy of knowledge. Nowadays, moral education or character education; has become a relevant way to resolve moral crisis happens in Indonesia. When we said about moral crisis, it all refers to corruption, fornication, children and teen abuse, peer to peer violence, juvenile delinquency, the habit of cheating in exam, drugs abuse, pornography, and anarchy. All of it has become social problems that we still do not have the answer on how to resolve. Thus, based on the matter, character education obviously becomes an important thing to be implemented. Objective description that factually happen to the Indonesian nowadays, has show us that The Indonesian almost lost its true self (or identity).  Many incidents happened in a last years, had threatened the nation existence. The spread of social conflict and terror had destroyed the social capital, which is important for the community moral integration. In other side, corruption, collusion and nepotism have turned this nation to become a low trust society. Based on the objective description above, I thought we need to improve the quality of higher educations, particularly through the character education; thus, they could result a diplomas with strong Indonesian identity. Nation Identity will be appears in the nation’s character as an implementation of the highest value of the nation. For the Indonesian, the highest values of the nation clearly written in the national principle, which is Pancasila.  Pancasila itself, is the establishment of religious, humanity, nationalism, sovereignty, and sociality concepts. Revitalization of Indonesian identity mean, re-build and strengthen Indonesian identity to every citizens. In other words, an effort to build a person with strong Pancasila sense whom has moral and responsible. Higher education level, in this case, has responsibility to shape and strengthening the national identity, which nowadays seems to be weakened.

Abstrak         Pendidikan Spiritual Keagamaan melalui Sastra Daerah: Deskripsi dan Analisis Teks Sastra Lisan Bauda. Pendidikan dianggap sebagai alternatif yang bersifat preventif untuk membangun moral generasi muda sehingga dapat meminimalkan penyebab berbagai masalah budaya dan karakter bangsa. Salah satu sumber belajar untuk memberikan pendidikan moral adalah warisan budaya berupa sastra lisan yang mengandung gagasan dan makna filosofis yang berakar dari budaya lokal. Sastra lisan bauda merupakan salah satu warisan budaya masyarakat Melayu Tapung di Provinsi Riau yang menyampaikan petuah dan nasihat, aturan adat, dan kisah-kisah yang mengandung hikmah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis nilai-nilai spiritual keagamaan dan pendidikan moral yang terkandung dalam sastra lisan bauda. Rancangan penelitian ini dalam bentuk deskriptif kualitatif yang memaparkan dan menganalisis data sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sastra lisan bauda memuat nilai-nilai pendidikan agama yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kekuatan spiritual. Pendidikan karakter melalui sastra lisan ini diharapkan mampu membentuk pribadi yang memiliki akhlak mulia, pengendalian diri, kecerdasan, dan keterampilan yang diperlukan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa dan negara.Kata kunci: Pendidikan, spiritual keagamaan, sastra lisan, Bauda Abstract Religious Spiritual Education through Local Literature: Description and Analysis of Oral literature Bauda.   Education is considered as alternative which is preventive to build young generation moral so it can minimized the cause of various culture problems and nation character.  One of learning resource to provide moral education is culture heritage in the form of oral literature which contain ideas and meaning of philosophy which are rooted from local culture.  Oral literature bauda is one of culture heritage of Melayu Tapung community in Riau Province which convey advise and message, custom rule, and stories which contain wisdom.  The aim of this study is analyze values of religious spiritual and moral education which are contained in oral literature bauda. The design of this study is in the form of qualitative descriptive which explain and analyze data in accord with the aim of study.  The result of study show that oral literature bauda contain religion education values which can be used to enhance the spiritual power.  Character education through this oral literature is hope capable to shape the individual who have lofty behavior, self control, intelligence, and skill which are needed by him/herself, society, nation and country.Keywords: Education, religious spiritual, oral literature, Bauda

In the early twentieth century, many American educators pinned their hopes for a revitalized nation on the character education of “youth,” especially adolescent boys. Although the emphasis on student morality was far from novel—nineteenth-century common and secondary schools operated as bastions of Protestant republican virtue—new perceptions of moral decay, institutional failure, and general cultural anomie prompted a marked increase in urgency. Among the many agencies confronting this impending moral crisis, the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) had perhaps the most comprehensive program of regeneration for American youth, encompassing a carefully articulated system extending from boyhood to collegiate and employed young men. Despite this expansive role, historians have produced only cursory glimpses of this organization, neglecting in particular the YMCA's work in developing an extracurricular program of moral education in public high schools.
