Purpose. The article is aimed at analyzing the general theoretical principles and the essential characteristics of legal restrictions in environmental law; defining category of “environmental legal restrictions”, their content, system and the status of the respective legislation. Methodology. The methodology consists in carrying out a comprehensive analysis of the provisions of environmental legislation and formulating relevant conclusions on this basis. During the research, the following methods of scientific research were used: terminological, systemic and structural, comparative legal, structural and functional. Results. The objectively determined necessity of unconditional adherence to the legally established environmental requirements, prohibitions and restrictions as well as their potential scientifically substantiated enhancement in order to achieve environmentally significant goals oriented towards the priorities of sustainable development is substantiated. Restrictive mechanisms are scattered across statutory and regulatory acts of different legal force and even different branches of law, therefore, the need for their systematization and unification as well as generalization of the experience of their practical implementation in order to establish a comprehensive system of environmental restrictions is discussed. In our opinion, the conceptual basis and general essential characteristics of public environmental requirements and restrictions should be reflected in the future Environmental Code of Ukraine. Scientific novelty. In the course of the research, the author defines restrictions in environmental law as a specific sectoral imperative mechanism for regulating relations in the field of environmental safety, which consists in systematically introducing legislation on imperative provisions of environmental law as well as establishing specific legal regimes and mechanisms for their application and implementation. Practical significance. The main conclusions can be used in law-making and law-enforcing activities, as well as in further theoretical and legal research and in the educational process.

Training in the legal foundations of military ecology, first of all, should contribute to the formation of internal training for the conscious adoption of responsible environmental-oriented command decisions on a legal basis. In this regard, the purpose of the study is to develop a methodology for environmental and legal training in a military university, aimed at forming sustainable environmental intentions of military personnel. The theoretical basis for the development of the methodology was the requirements of the guidelines in the field of military professional education and the legal framework for military environmental management; psychological and pedagogical approach to the integration of professional and environmental education (AleksandrGagarin, YelenaCherdymova); the position of the system approach that the components of the educational process are interconnected with each other (Avenir Uyomov, Il’ya Novik, Yuriy Konarzhevskiy). A method of environmental and legal training of military personnel has been developed, which is aimed at the combined formation of: a) environmental and legal knowledge in the field of military nature management; b) the ability to plan and implement measures to ensure the environmental safety of military service, in accordance with the requirements of the governing documents; c) environmental and legal responsibility, environmental values and attitudes to environmental-oriented lawful behaviour. The authors believe that learning the legal framework of the military environment, based on the use of environmental legal information in the educational process through the establishment of a structural and substantial interdisciplinary connections, inclusion of environmental legal information to the educational activities and the daily activities of military units, will lead to the formation of stable ecological intentions of military personnel. The developed method can be adapted to the conditions of training military specialists of different profiles. Methodological recommendations for teaching the legal basics of military ecology are proposed, and promising directions for improving the effectiveness of the developed methodology are outlined.

The article has established that justice and solidarity, as two social values and principles of social organization, can be recreated in the educational process on all levels of continuous education. It has been clarified that in conditions of a global environmental crisis leaving little time for mankind to solve the problem of survival, environmental safety appears as a top-priority value of the highest order. Differences of democratic values have been identified. The article reveals universal democratic values, particularly human rights, tolerance, solidarity and environmental safety, along with peacefulness and merely moral values of mercy, conscience and responsibility which form the basis for the Pedagogical Constitution of Europe. Our analysis indicates that modernization of the education system in Ukraine at its present-day stage is directed towards development of fundamental science, Ukrainian and global cultural values. It has been established that the human-centred direction of education appears as the essential characteristics of the process of its democratization. Key words: democratization of education, globalization, fundamental-philosophical view, anthropocentrism, education values.

The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of updated curriculum content on 6th-7th graders’ motivation in physical education. Materials and Methods. The study participants were 457 6th-7th graders from different regions of Ukraine (n = 230 girls and n = 227 boys). To determine the impact of curriculum content on school students’ motivation in physical education, the study used methods of theoretical analysis, systematization, comparison, generalization, pedagogical observations, questionnaire, mathematical statistics. Results. The study found that the content of 2012-2017 curricula has significant advantages in terms of developing school students’ motivation for regular exercise. The impact results in a statistically significant increase in indicators of the school students’ choice of learning motive (8.5% more; t = 2.24; p ≤ 0.05-0.01), evaluation motive (5.0% more; t = 2,01; p ≤ 0.05), play motive (6.3% more; t = 2.07; p ≤ 0.05). The study determined an increase in the high level of learning motivation from 14 to 33 cases and in the above average level – from 21 to 48, as well as a decrease in the average level – from 59 to 56, the reduced level – from 21 to 17, and the low one – from 12 to 11 cases. Conclusions. It was found that the result of the impact on school students’ motivation in physical education is the inclusion of new components into curricula. It was defined that an increase in motivation is associated, first, with the inclusion of content lines “Environmental Safety and Sustainable Development”, “Civil Responsibility”, “Health and Safety”; secondly, sections “Theoretical and Methodological Knowledge” and “Expected Results of Educational and Cognitive Activity”; thirdly, a modular system of organizing the educational process; fourth, sections “Evaluation of Learning Achievements” and “Homework”. The result of the impact of updated curriculum content is the enhancement of school students’ motivation in physical education, first of all through educational (cognitive) and social motives.

The paper reveals the historical aspects of the use of unique schemes for the delivery of oil cargo. The authors also consider the experience of modern transport and technological systems for oil transportation, developed by the expansion of logistics tools and principles of logistic. The study of schemes for the transportation of petroleum products in polymodal transport systems in a historical context gives the idea of the uniqueness of certain methods of cargo delivery. The modern development of logistics, technologies and infrastructure in the supply of oil and cargoes demonstrate a completely different level of industrial and environmental safety.
