Translator Competence Profile in the 4.0 Digital Age: Presentation Competence

The research is devoted to the marketing component of translation activity - the scientific problem poorly studied in the translation theory. The author of the article postulates that for a successful development of the translation market a highly qualified translator with comprehensive expertise and an extensive paradigm of competencies must have the ability to self-position and selfpresentation, i.e. fully develop marketing and entrepreneurial skills. The relevance of the work is caused by the fact that in the existing translatological studies, insufficient attention is paid to the presentation competence, which determines the translator's professional career growth. The aim of the research is to analyze the required competences in modern conditions, new market requirements, as well as to analyze the translator's tools for efficient positioning in the market of translation services and the implementation of presentation competence. Using the methods of observation, comparison, interpretation, content and intent analysis, domestic and foreign research and educational works that overview the current state of the competence profile of a modern translator were examined, and translation tools and self-positioning tools were compared to identify the advantages and disadvantages of the analyzed online presentation resources of translators. The research material was the presentation materials of translators on the Internet (personal website, resume and personal profile). As a result of the research, the most relevant competences of the translator - discursive, special, and technical - have been identified; the boundaries of the presentation competence formed on the basis of three components - organizational, professional, and personal - have been determined. The analysis of the empirical material allowed determining that the most effective Internet resource for positioning a translator is a personal Internet site that contains comprehensive information about the translator, while other resources - resumes and ads for translation services - have a number of disadvantages due to limited content capabilities and to a lesser extent help the translator to promote their profile and image in the market of services. The research allows drawing a conclusion that both novice and experienced translators need presentation competence. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of developing presentation competence in the educational process of training translators, as well as implementing this competence by professional translators in their daily activities. The results of the research can be useful for both practicing translators and specialists in the field of translation studies, intercultural communication, and translation teachers.

Сформулированы психолого-педагогические условия эффективной подготовки технических специалистов по заочной форме. Описан организационный механизм индивидуализации обучения в цифровом пространстве на основе компетентностного профиля. Various forms of mastering the educational professional program are analyzed, the advantages and disadvantages of self-education in the digital space and distance learning are considered. The article shows the demand for training according to an individual curriculum and examines the features of the contingent of students that cause the problem of developing a special methodology for their individual training for activities in the conditions of the emerging innovative economy. The author substantiates the importance of developing universal competencies, including a cluster of creative professional competencies, readiness to work in conditions of psychological stress, digital literacy, mathematical analytical thinking, and spiritual and moral qualities. Psychological and pedagogical conditions for effective training of technical specialists by correspondence are formulated, which assume consideration of the needs of participants in the educational process, cognitive abilities and competence profile. It is proposed to use impulse educational technologies, adaptive management of the process of students’ development and intensification of independent work in the digital space. Special attention is paid to the need to strengthen education in order to prepare for engineering creativity. It is advisable to design a personal educational track with the help of a tutor. The organizational mechanism of individualization of training in the digital space based on the competence profile is described. At the first level of individualization, an individual plan is developed. At the second level, on the basis of a digital competence profile, students’ educational activities are managed during the semester. The organization of individual training of technical specialists in correspondence form with the maximum use of the potential of digitalization of education will improve the quality of education and provide an advanced level of formation of the competencies demanded by the customer, to achieve a more complete satisfaction of students with the educational services provided.

Purpose. While comparing the Criminal Code of Ukraine with the criminal legislation of Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia), the goal is to find the best options for further development of the criminal legislation of Ukraine on liability for offenses against morality, taking into consideration current aspirations to radically update the relevant legal framework. Methodology. The comparative method is the key one for the purposes of the research. Critical comparison of the criminal law provisions of the Baltic States and Ukraine on the grounds of liability for offenses against morality has been made with reference to this method. The research also used such methods of academic cognition as: historical-legal, system-structural analysis, formal-logical, modeling. Results. Based on the study of the advantages and disadvantages of the legal framework of the grounds of liability for criminal offenses (crimes and misdemeanors) against morality in accordance with the Criminal Codes of the Baltic States recommendations for optimizing and improving the effectiveness of such rules has been developed, while taking into consideration criminal law reform processes in Ukraine. Scientific novelty. The study has revealed a number of positive and progressive legislative decisions, reflected in the Criminal Codes of the Baltic States on liability for offenses against morality. It makes possible to carry out their potential adoption in the process of further rule-making activities in Ukraine. Practical significance. The conclusions and suggestions formulated in the article can be used in law-making activities to improve criminal law of Ukraine in terms of combating encroachments upon morality, as well as in research and educational process as a basis for further comparative research on liability for offenses against morality in Ukraine and other countries.

The publication provides a thorough analysis of the main tendencies that prevail in the software market for implementing effective information and pedagogical management in modern higher education institutions. The article presents a brief retrospective of the formation and development of automated control systems. The monitoring of existing electronic products aimed at enhancing the quality of the educational management in higher school, developed by Ukrainian-based commercial IT-companies and research institutions, has been done. The peculiarities of development of automated control systems of educational process have been determined by distinguishing their advantages and disadvantages depending on the level of their development. The article describes the functionality of one of the most popular integrated automated information-analytical Web-oriented educational management systems of higher education institutions developed by the "Politek-SOFT" private company and implemented in the Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University. The article contains statistical data on the number of educational institutions in Ukraine that have implemented and actively used the software of the specified IT company. The publication identifies the specific advantages of a comprehensive information and analytical system "Dean's Office" which consists of: the full and comprehensive automation of planning and accounting of educational process, full information interoperability with other software products of PE "Politek-SOFT", convenient report designer and interface, possibilities of adaptation and full-fledged functioning in any operating system. In addition, it saves money and human resources and is applicable to educational institutions of any level of accreditation. The authors provide some information on the methodical guidance on the use of a comprehensive information and analytical system "Dean's Office" and focus on the functioning of some of its working modules. The article outlines the direction of further research with the emphasis on the main principles of the functioning of other well-known automated informational and analytical systems of educational management that have been implemented at the national higher educational institutions.

The article aims at allowing you to deepen the knowledge of the program material on computer science and, as a consequence, will increase the efficiency of the educational process as a whole during a pandemic, will increase the motivation of students to the subject; will allow developing students' abilities for self-development, self-education. Based on the purpose, subject, hypothesis of the research, the following tasks were solved: scientific methodological and pedagogical literature on the topic of research was studied; revealed the content and essence of Internet technologies; an Internet resource has been developed that allows organizing the process of distance learning in informatics; tested the effectiveness of its use in the process of teaching computer science to students. The practical significance of the study lies in the creation of an educational Internet resource that allows students to acquire the skills to independently create a Web site. This Internet resource can be used for forms of work in informatics in any educational institution during a pandemic.

Introduction: the existing contradiction between the reproduction of traditional methods of vocational training and the productivity of professional activity determines the relevance of the search and approbation of new forms of organization of the educational process. As such a form, an educational event can be used to effectively engage students in various types of interaction, develop professional motivation, organize independent and joint activities, obtain a meaningful product, and provide a reflexive awareness of the experience gained. The study of the possibilities of implementing an educational event in the professional preparation of future managers, taking into account the specifics of professional management, has a high theoretical and practical significance. Materials and methods: experimental work on studying the effectiveness of the implementation of an educational event was carried out in three stages. At the first, a theoretical substantiation of the possibilities of applying the event-based approach in vocational education was carried out, at the second, a methodology for designing an educational event was developed, and at the third, an assessment was made of the effectiveness of an educational event for students — future managers. In the process of research, general theoretical methods, interrogation, observation and generalization of pedagogical experience, static methods were used. Results: as a result of the work carried out, the features of the application of the event approach in vocational education were formulated, the requirements for the educational event were specified. The revealed features of this form of the educational process are reflected in the method developed by the authors for the design of an educational event, including a description of the motivational, event and reflective stages. Further, experimental work was carried out to implement the educational event within the discipline, to collect and process the results. As a result, indicators of current and final certification (by point-rating system) were evaluated, and a survey of the participants of the educational event regarding the advantages and disadvantages of this form of the educational process was conducted. Discussion and Conclusions: conclusions were drawn on the significant didactic potential of the implementation of the educational process on the discipline in the form of an educational event, provided that the methodical study of the content of the activities of the students and the high level of development of skills of independent work with them.

We consider the current issue of pedagogical diagnostics of professional identity formation among cadets with expert assessment method for its implementation. The expert assessment method is one of the system elements of pedagogical diagnostics methods, we present the features, advantages and disadvantages of its use for assessing the professional identity formation among cadets, directions are proposed to increase the effectiveness of the expert assessment method and overcome its shortcomings in the process of diagnosing the formation of professional identity of cadets. The main requirements for experts – subjects of pedagogical diagnostics are to use methods within the framework of objective (documentary, experimental) and subjective (self-assessment of competence, mutual assessment by experts of other potential experts) approaches for the selection of experts. In addition to theoretical, the study has practical significance, which consists in the fact that its results can contribute to the effective use of the method of expert assessments not only to study the dynamics of the formation of professional identity of cadets in the educational process of military universities, but also to identify signs of such a dangerous psychological phenomenon as professional marginalization – the antipode of professional identity.

Актуальность и эвристическая ценность статьи заключается в том, что представленные в ней материалы дадут основания исследователям, научным руководителям аспирантов, организаторам науки и самим аспирантам осмыслить то, каким образом обеспечить наибольшую продуктивность подготовки кадров высшей квалификации, повысить престижность научно-исследовательской деятельности. Проблема современного аспиранта состоит не в том, что он не в состоянии обобщить известные материалы, и не в том, что он не может предложить что-то новое в своей области знания, но в том, как проверить эффективность того, что предлагается, как органично «вписать» теорию в экспериментальные конструкции. Проще говоря, как выстроить релевантный эксперимент. Именно в этом видится главная ценность изложенных в статье материалов, которые помогут субъектам данного процесса наиболее обоснованно подойти к выбору подходов к организации аспирантской подготовки, методов и методик экспериментального исследования, выстраиванию его содержания и представлению результатов. Предметом работы являются механизмы (подходы, способы, средства) исследования готовности аспирантов к научно-исследовательской деятельности в условиях сценарно-событийной организации образовательного процесса. Новизна работы состоит в том, что в ней показано, каким образом один из главных компонентов продуктивности аспирантской подготовки – готовность к научно-исследовательской деятельности – может быть квалиметрически оценена посредством измерения трех составляющих: уровня самореализации; мотивации и сформированности соответствующих компетенций. Практическая значимость работы видится в применении моделей сценарного подхода к подготовке аспирантов и встраивании в эти модели различного рода «событийности», в системном построении основных этапов экспериментальной работы и интерпретации его результатов по каждому из измеряемых параметров. The relevance and heuristic value of the article lies in the fact that the materials presented in it will give reason to researchers, scientific supervisors of graduate students, organizers of science and the graduate students themselves to understand how to ensure the highest productivity of training highly qualified personnel, to increase the prestige of research activities. The problem of a modern graduate student is not that he is not able to generalize well-known materials and that he cannot offer something new in his field of knowledge, but how to check the effectiveness of what is offered as organically «fit» theory into experimental designs. Simply put, how to build a relevant experiment. It is in this that the main value of the materials presented in the article is seen, which will help the subjects of this process most reasonably approach the choice of approaches to the organization of postgraduate training, methods and techniques of experimental research, building its content and presenting the results. The subject of the work is the mechanisms (approaches, methods, means) of studying the readiness of graduate students for research activities in the context of scenario-event organization of the educational process. The novelty of the work is that it shows how one of the main components of the productivity of postgraduate training – readiness for research activities can be qualimetrically evaluated by measuring three components: the level of selfrealization; motivation and formation of relevant competencies. The practical significance of the work is seen in the application of scenario approach models to the preparation of graduate students and the incorporation of various «events» into these models, in the systematic construction of the main stages of the experimental work and the interpretation of its results for each of the measured parameters.

Introduction: in the modern scientific legal literature, there are many judgments about the structuring of the system of law. The legal scholars are divided into two opposite camps: some support the position on the need to divide law into branches, while others defend the point of view that the concept of system of law is a kind of scientific and legal rudiment and does not have practical utility and significance. One of the reasons for these trends is the lack of a monistic approach to the criteria for dividing law into branches. The paper presents an overview of the modern scientific concepts of the theory of the system of law. Methods: the study of the system of law is impossible without the use of a set of methods of scientific knowledge, which include: legal analysis, the system-structural and dialectical methods. Results: the method developed by the author for distinguishing the branches of law is based on the analysis of a certain set of legal norms from the point of view of its subject (the group of public relations), the conceptual and categorical framework, the autonomy of functioning and the homogeneity of public relations. Conclusions: as a result of the research, the role and practical significance of the category systems of law in the legal science and practice is revealed. It is established that the division of law into branches helps to more effectively implement the departmental rulemaking, correctly plan the corporate activities of many legal entities, as well as competently organize the educational process and training of highly qualified specialists.

Purpose. The article is aimed at analyzing the general theoretical principles and the essential characteristics of legal restrictions in environmental law; defining category of “environmental legal restrictions”, their content, system and the status of the respective legislation. Methodology. The methodology consists in carrying out a comprehensive analysis of the provisions of environmental legislation and formulating relevant conclusions on this basis. During the research, the following methods of scientific research were used: terminological, systemic and structural, comparative legal, structural and functional. Results. The objectively determined necessity of unconditional adherence to the legally established environmental requirements, prohibitions and restrictions as well as their potential scientifically substantiated enhancement in order to achieve environmentally significant goals oriented towards the priorities of sustainable development is substantiated. Restrictive mechanisms are scattered across statutory and regulatory acts of different legal force and even different branches of law, therefore, the need for their systematization and unification as well as generalization of the experience of their practical implementation in order to establish a comprehensive system of environmental restrictions is discussed. In our opinion, the conceptual basis and general essential characteristics of public environmental requirements and restrictions should be reflected in the future Environmental Code of Ukraine. Scientific novelty. In the course of the research, the author defines restrictions in environmental law as a specific sectoral imperative mechanism for regulating relations in the field of environmental safety, which consists in systematically introducing legislation on imperative provisions of environmental law as well as establishing specific legal regimes and mechanisms for their application and implementation. Practical significance. The main conclusions can be used in law-making and law-enforcing activities, as well as in further theoretical and legal research and in the educational process.

Trends in technology lead to an increasing of their role in the development of humanity. Exactly “cloud technologies”, which are the basis for the technological development of the information society now, also they play the role of the leading tool of informatization of education, especially united with “edutainment”.During the development and implementation of software and network technologies in professional artistic education, the following issues remain unsolved: the provision of modern computer equipment and software, technical support for the stable work of information products, and the provision of selective authorized access for students to specific network resources. The methodology based on “cloud calculates” technology provides an opportunity to overcome these difficulties. And the last, but not at least, students may be attracted to the most promising areas of the development of modern information products.Actuality, practical significance, and insufficient development of these problems caused the choice of the topic of our research: “Terms of use of “edutainment” and “cloud technologies” in professional artistic education “.The aim of the research is to determine the conditions of the use of “edutainment” and “cloud technologies” in the preparation of future teachers of musical art.Methods of research: analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature in order to determine the state of development of the problem; synthesis, comparison, generalization for justifying the concepts of “edutainment” and “cloud technologies” and methods of their use in the educational process.This article deals with issues of the use of edutainment technologies and “cloud technologies”. It is offered conditions of using edutainment and “cloud technologies” in post-nonclassical professional art education on the example of subject “Musical Art”. Actual “cloud” services are analyzed and examples of their integration to educational process of professional art establishments are proposed.
