In English teaching, teachers have always attached great importance to exploring scientific listening teaching methods to improve students' listening comprehension ability. In order to improve the listening teaching mode, scholars in both China and in other countries have done a series of studies. However, there is little research on the effectiveness of conversational implicature in improving listening comprehension ability of English majors. Therefore, through empirical research, this paper explores the effectiveness of applying the Conversational Implicature Theory in pragmatics to instruct English majors to improve their listening comprehension ability, and tries to find an efficient teaching strategy of conversational implicature. The two classes are used as the experimental class and the control class respectively in this experiment. The experimental class adopts Conversational Implicature Teaching Strategy, while the control class still adopts the traditional teaching mode. The results show that the ability of conversational implicature inference of the experimental class is obviously better than that of the control class, which can effectively improve the listening comprehension level of the students. The results of the study provide some enlightenment for the implementation of conversational implicature teaching strategies in similar environments, and some suggestions for listening teaching of English majors are put forward based on the results of the study.

English has been a subject in the university classroom since the 1980s. This subject helps produce more excellent talents in economics, politics, and culture who are proficient in English language in China, and enable our country to better integrate with the global economy. At the same time, the relationship between our country and the international community has become closer. However, the social environment is constantly developing and changing. The traditional teaching methods can be said to be ineffective and associated with many shortcomings. Traditional teaching methods were used in the English lessons. Under this teaching mode, students were the passive subjects on the receiving end of what have been taught. The teacher was always talking in the classroom and the students were listening. This teaching style also affects the effectiveness of learning. Compared with traditional teaching, interactive teaching method has its unique advantages. It is a new teaching mode and under this teaching mode, students can actively communicate with teachers in the classroom to complete learning tasks. The initiative to perform self-directed learning is also greatly improved, and the students’ English proficiency can be improved.

This paper aims to conduct the SD-CBL (study design with the case based learning, SD-CBL) in Epidemiologyteaching and evaluate its effect. Students from five classes were recruited, and a combined comprehensive teachingmodel of SD-CBL was used in the “Injury Epidemiology” chapter, while other chapters in “Epidemiology”curriculum were using a teaching model of case based learning (CBL) only or single PowerPoint (ppt) teaching (itwas considered as a traditional teaching in many universities). In the final of the semester, the effects of these threeteaching models were compared in different majors and different students source. We found that SD-CBLcomprehensive teaching model was better than ppt only and CBL teaching methods (P<0.001, P=0.007), and thesignificant differences were found in the increased scoring rate between different majors and different studentssource (P<0.001, P=0.015). Thus, we concluded that the SD-CBL teaching model is effective and worth to promotein “Epidemiology” teaching, especial in chapters of epidemiology application. Moreover, it is recommended toconduct SD-CBL teaching model in students, who are major in medicine and have good science basis.

Team-based learning (TBL) is an interactive and analytic teaching strategy. TBL is a learner-centered strategy that uses a very structured individual and group accountability process and requires small groups to work together to solve problems. This study served to investigate whether the TBL concept could be modified and adopted to the fifth-year cornea module of an ophthalmology course. Questionnaires (using a Likert scale of 1–5) were distributed to 169 fifth-year medical students attending the cornea module applied as TBL in an ophthalmology course. The questionnaire consisted of two categories: the TBL format (7 items) and an open-ended question about the class (1 item). Feedback was then evaluated. The majority of students felt that modified TBL sessions were better at fulfilling learning objectives (121 students, 71.59%), enabled better understanding (134 students, 79.28%), were more interesting (146 students, 86.39%), ensured greater student participation (123 students, 72.78%), and involved greater effort on the part of students (148 students, 87.57%) compared with traditional teaching methods. Most of the students (129 students, 76.33%) agreed that more such sessions should be organized in the future. In conclusion, after adjustments to improve weaknesses, such as the short time allocation and students' lack of prior background, the outcomes of this modified TBL approach on the cornea module of an ophthalmology course provide a good basis for its continuation.

Various modern learning modes also promote the wide application of online learning. In order to solve the current situation of lack of educational resources in Colleges and universities (CAU), we need to use innovative learning theory, cutting-edge teaching technology and tools, and integrate multimedia education into the existing mixed teaching to form a new teaching mode. This paper takes the teaching course of practical writing as the research object, uses the method of literature survey to read and analyze a large number of relevant literatures. According to the research needs, through the research and summary of the literature content, some views, methods and relevant opinions are collected. In this paper, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 120 students and 10 teachers who participated in the reform of teaching methods. The data collected from the questionnaire were summarized and analyzed by using the statistical method of several cases and logical analysis method. The survey results show that the satisfaction of students in the teaching class with multi-media education integrated into the hybrid university teaching mode reaches 80%, while that of the traditional teaching method class is only 33.33%; 39 students in the new teaching mode achieve excellent results in the assessment, and 19 students in the traditional teaching mode class achieve excellent results. Clear teaching strategy, scientific teaching mode and reasonable teaching content can enhance students’ interest in writing course, strengthen students’ practical application ability, and play a positive role in the exploration of practical writing teaching mode, and provide certain basis.

Objective The paper is designed to launch teaching researches on the network curriculum of Fundamental Nursing that based on implicit theories. Method 180 students of nursing major are randomly assigned into the experimental group and the contrast group, with 90 students for each group. In skill teaching of Fundamental Nursing, the contrast group has employed the traditional teaching method, while the experimental group puts into use web-oriented teaching mode is based on implicit theories. Result Through analysis, we have found that students’ exanimation results and evaluations on the teaching method of nursing skills in the experimental groups are visibly better than that in the contrast group (P<0.01). Moreover, experimental group’s interest in skill training is also higher than students of the contrast group. Conclusion Network curriculum of Fundamental Nursing based on implicit theories is quite helpful in improving students’ operating skills in Fundamental Nursing, which also complies with students’ psychological needs. Furthermore, the author holds that, to launch teaching activities based on implicit theories is an effective method for cultivating high-quality nurses.
