This paper describes the results of a program for enhancing technology awareness of 73 students and 35 teachers in an elementary school environment using a program designed for students' exploration of careers and enhanced self-esteem. Analysis indicated that teachers increased their knowledge of technology.

The school counselor can play a key role in fostering a caring school community (CSC). The counselor can engage in a comprehensive, preventive, and developmental intervention that helps to promote a sense of belongingness. Furthermore, this intervention reflects a strengths-based counseling approach because it considers how contextual changes can be made to promote overall development of youth. Seven elementary school counselors’ perspectives were examined for their understanding about what constitutes a CSC and how they help to facilitate such a context. The school counselors in the study reported the following: There are a core set of elements that they believe make up a CSC; they draw upon their personal experiences within the school environment to help them understand how their CSC efforts can best be implemented; they implement a set of effective strategies to foster a CSC; and they utilize a shared guiding philosophy that is reflected by their efforts to foster a CSC.

The Baduy society has a local wisdom on disaster mitigation that many people outside the Baduy society are not aware of. Therefore, the Baduy community program is socializing the local wisdom to the people outside the community. The partnership of this effort is the youth of the elementary school to high school in the border area of the Baduy vicinity. In the beginning of the program, the students did not have any indication about the local wisdom of the Baduy people. However, after a period of lectures and discussions, their knowledge and understanding about the Baduy people and their wisdom on disaster mitigation have significantly increased.

The background of this research is the importance of the attitude of caring for the environment that is planted early on starting from the elementary school level. The purpose of this study is to find out how the attitude of caring for students' environment in 184 Pekanbaru Elementary School. This research is quantitative descriptive research type. This research was conducted at 184 Pekanbaru Elementary School. Based on the results of research assessed from 6 indicators, namely cleaning toilets, cleaning trash cans, cleaning the school environment, beautifying classrooms and schools with plants, participating in maintaining parks in schools and participating in maintaining environmental cleanliness. Based on the results of the study showed that 184 Pekanbaru Public Elementary School students have a very caring attitude towards the environment with an acquisition value of 89.02 in the very caring category

This study aims to describe the values ​​of character education in the fairy tale Bawang Merah Bawang Putih and its relevance for strengthening the character of elementary school students. The data of this research is the story of Bawang Merah Bawang Putih which was obtained from the fairy tale book by Runna Aulia and Ghais Ramadhani. The data collection technique used is documentation. This stage of the data analysis technique is carried out by data condensation. Presentation of data, as well as conclusions and verification of research results. The results of this study are 5 character values ​​contained in the fairy tale Bawang Merah Bawang Putih, such as the value of the character of hard work, the value of the character of discipline, the value of the character of responsibility, the value of the character of social care, the value of the character of curiosity. This study also found 5 character values ​​that exist in strengthening character education, such as the value of telligiosity, nationalism, integrity, independence and mutual cooperation. The characters in this fairy tale can also be used as learning content at school. there are good examples so that students can find good learning to be applied to everyday life such as the school environment, community and family environment.

Human resources are the biggest strength in the management of Islamic educational institutions. The quality of human resources is crucial right now, because competence of human resources who have knowledge and skills will be able to cope environmental changes. Teachers and employees are the key of success in educational institutions. Good or bad performance of teachers and employees will support the competitiveness of schools. Based on this phenomenon, this research reveals the development of educators and education staff in enhancing competitiveness in the Excellent Islamic Elementary School in Bukittinggi City. This research uses descriptive qualitative. Located in Excellent Islamic Elementary School Bukittinggi City. The source of data in this study is the board of trustees, principals, teachers and employees. The techniques of data collection are participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Later on the collected data is analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion. All data are approved by validity through a credibility test, transferability test, dependability test and conformability test. The results showed that the development of teachers and employees is done through 1) on the job training, that is, development that takes place during working hours takes place both formally and informally. 2) Off the job training, that is development that has done specifically outside of work. As for the development carried out: a) training in the form of quantum teaching training, workshops for making learning media and parenting seminars, b) rotation position, c) Religious Development, d) Teacher working groups (KKG) and comparative studies. This development aims to improve the competencies of teachers and employees in the school environment so that they can improve the quality of Islamic educational institutions in accordance with the increasingly stringent times.

helminthiasis is a disease caused by a worm or helminth. Worm disease is a neglected infectious diseases / Neglected Infectious Disease (NIDS), which can lead to declining health, nutrition, intelligence and productivity. Factors that could cause the high incidence of worm disease is sanitation, hygiene, education level, socio-economic, knowledge, attitudes, behavior and geographical conditions. This study aimed to determine the relationship Soil transmitted helminth infections with Hb levels in elementary school children in the fishing village town of Bengkulu. This study was a cross sectional analytic. Subjects were four primary school pupils in Desa Nelayan of Bengkulu. Large sample of 185 samples. Sampling with simple random sampling technique. Examination of faeces by direct methods. Analysis of the samples by using the t test. The result showed no significant association with Hb STH infection (p = 0.09), no significant relationship with personal hygiene STH infection (p = 0.89), no significant association with the school environment sanitation STH infections (p = 0.34) and no significant relationship with the environmental sanitation STH infection (p = 0.70) in the elementary school children in Desa Nelayan of Bengkulu. The school have to provide counseling so that maintain the health of the prevention efforts that can reduce STH infections in elementary school children.

Disaster mitigation learning in elementary schools is the knowledge that must be taught considering that Indonesia is a disaster-prone region. This research was aimed to design and develop KOASE comics that are appropriate to be used to understand disaster mitigation. The research method used was the 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate) model. The feasibility of the product assessed by expert validators was 51.13 with a fairly feasible category. The teacher’s response at the development stage obtained the score of 92.08 with a very good category and the students’ responses obtained a score of 85.87 with a very good category. Then it can be concluded that the development of KOASE comics is appropriate to be used as a medium for disaster mitigation learning. It is suggested for the next researcher is to develop comics that are more specific to one type of natural disaster so that they can explore the depth of essential material. For the teacher, this comic can be used as a source of additional reading and learning media in teaching disaster mitigation.

<p><em>The focus of this research is to describe the role of Tagana in disaster education and the obstacles it faces in providing disaster education for elementary school students. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Wates Ponorogo. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. Data analysis used the Mile and Huberman analysis model. The results showed that the role of Tagana in disaster education for elementary school students can be seen from the Tagana Goes to School program. The program aims to accelerate the building of students' understanding and preparedness for disasters so as to minimize the impact. In the program, the roles of Tagana are: 1) providing knowledge of the types of disasters to students; 2) providing knowledge of disaster mitigation according to the type of disaster, and 3) conducting disaster mitigation simulations. In this case, disaster education is more focused on earthquake disasters. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced by the Tagana Goes to School team were limited personnel and lack of response from the school. For this reason, additional volunteers must be carried out and disaster preparedness cadres formed in schools, so that the program can run effectively and efficiently.</em></p>

This research is a qualitative research in the form of a case study. This research is conducted at Binjai State Elementary School, Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to implement a child-friendly school program and develop student character programmed in the Primary Schools of Binjai Ciy, Indonesia. The respondents of this study are principals and teachers. The results of this study are child-friendly school policies at Primary Schools of Binjai City encourage all school residents to care about the school environment and be anti-violent so that the atmosphere at school becomes healthy, safe and comfortable. The formation of the character of students through child-friendly schools Primary Schools of Binjai City is going well because the teachers at the school have formed the character of students including students who are diligent and diligent in learning, respect for teachers, discipline, respect each other so as to form a community friendly study. Child-friendly school programs are very effective in forming a safe and conducive school environment and supporting the development of student character, in addition to encouraging schools to develop infrastructure to support learning. The study also found that some schools still have obstacles in developing a school culture for the direction of child-friendly schools. In general, Primary Schools of Binjai City has implemented child-friendly education, where the school has attempted various programs and activities in implementing child-friendly education.
