Dieng Temple site in the highlands of Central Java has not been used as a source of learning history. The site can be used to bring learners closer to their environment. This study aims to improve the historical comprehension of learners through the use of Dieng Temple site as a source of historical learning. This research is a Classroom Action Research in Public High School 1 Wonosobo. Data were collected by observation, inter-view and documentation. The results showed that the learning process of history through Dieng Temple site can provide the ability to learners to interpret the literal meaning of Dieng Temple by using their own language. This makes students able to understand the history of existing sites in the Dieng area. Understanding the history has been raising awareness of learners to take part in maintaining the sustainability of Dieng temple site.

This study aims to overcome the lack of students’ history awareness through the application of local culture of Kenduri Sko as a learning resource. The research was conducted in class X IS 3 SMA Negeri 2 Kerinci. The method used is Classroom Action Research. The results showed that: (1) teachers have implemented learning in accordance with the design of learning; (2) learning history using local culture of Kenduri Sko as a learning resource has succeeded in increasing the awareness of learners' history that is knowledge and understanding of learners about cultural change, interest in history study, pride of local culture; (3) constraints faced by partner teachers is to measure the attitudes and behaviors of learners.

Abstract This study aims to determine the application of discovery learning learning models to students of class XII IPS.2 Palembang State High School 13. The research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) or Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to improve and find solutions to real problems in improving the learning process in the classroom. This research has several cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages of interrelated and continuous activities, namely: planning (planning), implementation (acting), observation (observing), and reflection (reflecting). The results of the study showed that using the discovery learning model of learning completeness of students before the action and after the action, namely; cycle I (60.00%), and cycle II (90.00%). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant change in learning outcomes between before and after being given class action by applying discovery learning learning models to students of class XII IPS.2 Palembang 13 Public High School so that this research is considered to be successful. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning pada peserta didik kelas XII IPS.2 SMA Negeri 13 Palembang. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) atau Classroom Action Research (CAR) yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki dan mencari solusi dari persoalan yang nyata dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas 4 tahap kegiatan yang saling terkait dan berkesinambungan yaitu: perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan (acting), pengamatan (observing), dan refleksi (reflecting). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning ketuntasan belajar peserta didik sebelum tindakan dan sesudah tindakan yaitu; siklus I (60,00%), dan siklus II (90,00%). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan terdapat perubahan peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran discovery learning pada peserta didik kelas XII IPS.2 SMA Negeri 13 Palembang sehingga penelitian ini dianggap berhasil dengan baik.

This study focuses on the implementation of think-pair-share technique<strong> </strong>in improving students‟ participation in a bilingual boarding high school in Central Java. The goals of this study are, (1) to identify how think-pair-share can improve the student participation in speaking class, (2) to identify what problems appear during the application of think-pair-share. I adopted Classroom Action Research (CAR) which requires four steps, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The participants are 26 high school students. The methods of data collection are observation, diary, interview, photograph, pre-questionnaire, and post-questionnaire. In analyzing data I used (1) constant comparative technique by Burns (qualitative), (2) Likert scale (quantitative). After analyzing the data, I found out that the change in participation in class was clearly seen and all the responses from the students were positive. Moreover the average score of students` participation in class increased from 30.69 to 45.42.

This study is aimed at increasing mastery on the history of teaching values of Abu Bakar and Umar Bin Khattab, the emperor after Nabi Muhammad.  The study uses classroom action research as the design to implement the same age tutor through story telling techniques.  Using two cycles, this study assignes teh sixth grade students of SDN 005 Botang as research subject.  This study discovers that learning actuivities increase and the average score increases from 6,5 to 8.2.  The participations and involvements during the learning process also increase so that the study is finished in the second cycle.  This study proves that using the same-age tutor to teach haracters of Abu Bakar and Umar as kulafaur rasyidin is favorable.

This research was the Classroom Action Research. The research was conducted caused the students lack in learning process actively. Therefore, the researcher applied Cooperative Learning Model Articulation Method and Time Token that considered the eagerness as the motivation for the students in order that they be able to follow the learning process actively. It is expected to have an impact of  learning achievment obviously. This classroom action research has an objective to increase eagerness and students learning achievement of X1 class of Senior High School 1 of Trimurjo. From this research can be inferred that there were an increasing the eager to study of the students. It  perceived to the activity of the students in pre-research towards the activity after doing research based on the increasing of evaluation product. The researcher recommend using Cooperative Learning Model Articulation Method And Time Token be able to apply in learning process in order to increase the eagerness and students learning achievement considered the time within the arranging of lesson plan.Kata kunci: artikulasi, time token, minat, hasil belajar

The title of this research is “Growing up Students’ Curiosity Character in Learning History Through Puzzle Media in Class XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Lembang”. This research was held in Class XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Lembang. This research was motivated by the low of students’ curiosity character in learning history. The purpose of this research is how to grow the students’ curiosity in learning history among senior high school student, because most of them have wrong perception about learning history that considered as a boring lesson and only focused on text memorize without get the comprehensive perception related to the historical events. The developed indicators of the curiosity character in this research are the ability to ask questions, ability to answer questions from friends or teachers, ability to find out the information from books and the internet, then to contribute in group activities and class discussions, ability to interpret images in puzzles, and the ability to provide solutions of each questions in student work sheet (LKS). The research method used in this research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. It consists of several stages, including the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Based on the results of research, the character of the students’ curiosity in learning history has increased. It could be seen from the percentage that indicates students’ significant change. The percentage showed the change of students’ curiosity character which was not good enough to the good category. It can be a good recommendation for teachers or school to develop the learning process to grow students’ curiosity character, so that the learning would be more meaningful.

This Collaborative Classroom Action Research aimed at enhancing students’ speaking skill through the application of Circle Game. It was conducted in one cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject was the seventh of C class of SMPN 2 Alas Barat consisting of 22 students. The types of data were qualitative (acquiring observation during the learning process) and quantitative (speaking tests). The results qualitatively showed that the implementation of Circle Game enhanced the students’ speaking skills. Such improvement could be seen from their enthusiasm, their interesting feeling in various materials presented by the teacher, their active involvement. In the quantitative findings, the result also showed a higher value of the mean score of the post-test (77.34) rather than the pre-test (75.75). In conclusion, the use of Circle Game can improve students’ speaking skill.

Implementation of the 2013 curriculum is very different from the previous curriculum, there are still many obstacles that we know greatly affect the learning outcomes, both in terms of media used, the assessment in the 2013 curriculum is more complicated than the previous curriculum then the methods used to convey the learning materials that want to be taught not effective or even incompatible with the material to be conveyed. This research method is a classroom action research conducted in improving the learning process, with four meetings. The assessment taken in this study is an evaluation evaluation of each meeting in the form of attitudinal value, value of knowledge and skill value based on teacher's book on theme 4 "Healthy is Important" with sub theme 1 "Importance of Health and Environment". On the attitudes that appear attitude of self-confidence, curiosity and independence Already entrusted by 20.68% confidence, and curiosity while mandated 6.2% lower because students are still not familiar with the implementation of the curriculum 2013. Results of student knowledge seen the development in excellent value at the first meeting of 36.4%, at the second meeting decreased to 30.3%, while at the third meeting experienced a 52.25% increase again. While on the results of these students' skills on four meetings emerged every meeting with a very good category at the first meeting of 18.1%, at the second meeting increased to 27.3%, the third meeting decreased to 20.68%, while at the fourth meeting increased again by 65.62%.

The background of this research is the low of mathematics learning result of grade 1 student of SDN 004Tembilahan Kota, for that done perbaiakan learning process by applying method of discussion. This researchwas conducted in SDN 004 Tembilahan Kota with the subject of research is the first grade students with 36students. This research is a classroom action research conducted two cycles. Based on the results of theresearch, it is found that the use of the method of disuksi can improve the students' learning outcomes aboutknowing and determining the length and weight with nonstandard units using concrete objects / concretesituation in the initial data, the total number of completed students is 12 students (33.3%) average 55.83. In thefirst cycle has increased the number of students who complete is 26 students (77.22%) with an average value of80.00. In the second cycle has increased with the total number of students who completed is 32 students (88.89)with an average value of 88.06.

The objective of this study was to investigate whether the application of Teams-Games-Tournament Technique improve the students achievement in Speaking. This study was an classroom action research. The subject of this study was class XI IPA 3 SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Kisaran which consists of 35 students. The study was conducted in two cycles, cycle I consisted of three meetings and cycle II was consisted of three meetings. The instruments for collecting data were quantitative (oral speaking test) and qualitative data (observation sheet and diary note). Based on speaking scores, students’ score kept improving in every evaluation and based on observation sheet and diary note, it was found that teaching and learning process ran well. Students could enlarge their thinking process. The result of this study showed that Teams-Games-Tournament improved students’ achievement in speaking.
