In today’s globalized world with dynamic processes of political, social, and societal change (Mergner et al., 2019) the university should be a place of encounter between people with different (cultural) backgrounds. The learning arrangement presented here therefore initiates intercultural exchange and aims to help students see diversity as an asset rather than a challenge (Roos, 2019). To this end, an intercultural project was initiated at TU Dortmund in Germany in 2017. In the context of different learning environments future teachers were invited to have encounters with young newcomers through a nearly completely self‐managed learning arrangement. The students were prepared for the encounters in focused courses dealing with theoretical backgrounds and didactic concepts. They would then prepare the lessons with the newcomers. In the context of this learning arrangement the following questions were important: What did the university students expect with regard to the encounter with newcomer students from schools? How did they prepare the lessons? What did students and newcomers think about the encounters later? What have they learned? And what do these reflections mean for inclusive and intercultural teacher education at universities? In the project we could observe that the didactic approach supports the students’ level of sensitivity towards differences and encourages future teachers to train the education of newcomers in a non‐judgmental framework (Bartz & Bartz, 2018). Based on a selection of qualitative empirical findings (ethnographic approach during six lessons in a period of two years and 147 interviews including the students’ and newcomers’ points of view about their learning encounters at TU Dortmund), this article discusses opportunities to create more innovative spaces for inclusive practices and cultures under the restricted terms of a mass university.

The present study concerns an integrative literature review, qualitative and quantitative, which culminated in results that demonstrate as causes and the predominance of anxiety and depression in university students in health care courses. The following articles were searched in the database: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), and academic google, available in Portuguese from 2016 to 2021. The result of the bibliographic search, after rigorously applying the inclusion and exclusion fundamentals, was the selection of 9 articles. The bibliography indexes that academics tend to have up to 20% more feasibility of developing the given problem compared to the general population. The increase in demands, associated with pressure and stress when family members leave their homes, are factors that contribute to this problem. Psychology aligned with therapy can alleviate the pressure so that the university experience is not negative, because, through self-knowledge (knowledge of oneself), the student has skills that can support the handling of their own conflicts.

The article probes web referencing behavior among Danish researchers and students. Our study is concentrated on a selection of master's theses submitted in 2015 at the University of Copenhagen and an assortment of recent literary monographs focusing on contemporary literature. In the article we examine to what extent it is possible to follow each given web reference and we review the existing recommendations. Our study shows that current practices and ideals are inadequate, and we discuss a number of alternatives. It is our recommendation and conclusion that researchers and university students should strive to include web archives whenever they refer to internet resources. We furthermore argue that a web reference should consist of four specific elements in order to be both precise and persistent, and we introduce a concrete suggestion on how an up-to-date standard might be formulated.

The university is an essential participant in education, a key place where societal change processes are developed. So, it must be a place to bring up current challenges and social requirements. That is the reason why it holds the responsibility to assure the creation of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values in the students to achieve an effective solution to environmental issues. The objective of this research was the assessment of the attitudes, knowledge, and pro-environmental behavior in university students from different faculties, studies, and degrees, as well as their influence in this group. The results show that most of the students have previous concepts of environment, and they consider that a good environmental education is necessary to solve the environmental issues that they have around. This proves that key factors in attitudes become essential elements for changing them. The differences made by gender and studies in several fields in attitudes (cognitive and emotional levels) are also confirmed.

When considering the various areas of computer mathematics, especially geometry sticks out, where the problem analysis clearly and fully illustrates the computer. The discipline called "Computer Geometry" (F.Preparato, M.Sheymos) worthily appreciated by modern scientists. However, the practice of training in the higher education institutions (especially training of future teachers), does not provide studying of the Computer Geometry as an academic subject. Perspectives and methodology of Computer Geometry are developed by detailed study of specific problems, and the selection of the content of such course should be conducted on the basis of certain principles, all of which in total have to reflect the prospects of formation of the identity of the trainee as the subject of education adequately.
