Small saving scheme is one of the key investment avenues for individual investor. It encourages small-income investors to invest and earn high returns and to save on income tax as well.  In this paper the growth of small saving from 2001-02 to2017-18 has been analyzed by adopting non linear growth model. The paper also examined factors leading to saving differential of weavers in the handloom sectors of BTAD areas. The study is based on both primary and secondary data. To determine the relationship between various variables multiple regressions has been used. It is found that saving of weaver is positively determined by their monthly wages and negatively by family size and they are found significant at 1 percent level. Again the saving of weavers is found to be negatively determined by dependent children. Saving differences among gender and community is found insignificant, that mean we cannot say whether saving is greater (smaller) for male than female and for STs than non ST. So we cannot find a differences in saving behaviour among gender and community although there's found a significant difference in saving among marital status and types of weaver.

The trend of working women in Indonesia has increased. In 2017 the participation rate of women workers increased by 39.3%. This study aims to analyze the tendency of women to work in villages and cities, analyze the relationship of women who work with reproductive health, the relationship between marital status and reproductive health and Islamic perspectives on working women. The method used was quantitative, sourced from secondary data on Indonesia's Demographic and Health Data Survey 2017 Data were analyzed using the chi-square test. It was found that the tendency of women to work in villages was higher by 65.5%. The analysis found that the significant correlation between job status and marital status with reproductive health, with p-value of 0.0001 and 0.0001. It is not forbidden in Islam that women work outside the home, but must uphold a woman’s character, her role in her family and dignity. Considering women have a dual role, in the household and as workers, the company should give the right to maintain reproductive health such as menstruation leave, pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding. Keywords: female workers; types of work; reproductive health; marital status; village

The prevalence of depression among the general population in CentralSulawesi was the highest in Indonesia (12.3%). Scholars revealed thatdisability was one of the main contributing factors of depression and in Central Sulawesi almost half of population was reported having disability (42.1%). This study was intended to identify the association of disability and depression in Central Sulawesi. Cross sectional design study was conducted with utilization of secondary data collection from Riskesdas 2018. Depression, as the main outcome, was assessed by the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI), meanwhile, disability was assessed by the WHODAS instrument. The relationship between these two variables was adjusted by several confounders, namely age, gender, marital status, educational status, and employment status. A 11,9% of 11,926 respondent aged 18-59 years old, was depressed and almost half of them reporting disability (42.1%) and among those who were disabled, one-fifth weredepressed. The risk of depression among respondents with disabilities was 3.25 times higher (p=0.000; 95% CI 2.9-3.6) compared to respondentswithout disability after controlled by confounders (gender, marital status, educational status, and employment status). It is recommended that routine mental health screening needs to be done at Posyandu, Posbindu and among patients at Primary Health Care. Besides, health promotion focused on physical activity in a community such as community gymnastics during theweekend.

This study aims to model the distribution of the tax burden in schedular progressive taxation and to describe the key characteristics of such models, in particular their differences from the models based on continuously increasing smooth functions of the relationship between the tax burden and the taxpayer's income. Our hypothesis is that the use of the Gompertz function to model the main indicators of tax burden distribution of the schedular progressive income tax will help us approximate and formalize the distribution of the tax burden in a relative income tax bracket-based progression. Our research relies on the hypothetico-deductive model, more specifically, on mathematical hypothesis testing. The methodological framework comprises models of progressive taxation and mathematical methods, including data approximation based on the use of the Gompertz function, analysis of the antiderivative and convexity of functions and their properties. The resulting model can be used to describe the dynamic characteristics of the relationship between the tax burden and certain parameters of schedular taxation. This model can help identify the level of income beyond which the progression of the tax burden becomes formal and does not generate commensurately high revenue growth. The existence of such income level results in what can be considered the key drawback of the relative progression in question – the impossibility to provide a significant difference (step) of the tax burden progression in the whole interval of the taxpayer's income. What makes this research practically significant is that the proposed methodology allows us to take into account the actual tax burden in modelling the parameters of the relative progression.

The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between coping styles and cognitive flexibility variables in adult individuals and whether these two variables change according to gender, age, marital status, educational status and socioeconomic levels. The research is structured according to the scanning model. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 309 participants, including 261 randomly selected women and 48 men living in Bartın province. In the study, data were obtained using the" coping styles scale“, the” cognitive flexibility scale "and the" Personal Information Form". The data were analyzed using the SPSS 25 statistical program. Pearson Correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and t test for independent samples were used to analyze the data. As a result of the analyzes made for the purpose of the research; while gender and marital status characteristics led to significant differences in cognitive flexibility and coping styles, age, educational status and monthly income characteristics did not create a significant difference. In addition, it was concluded that the independent variables of cognitive flexibility of planning, behavioral disengagement, denial, and humor predicted the dependent variable of cognitive flexibility and the variance was 12%. The findings were discussed by researching the relevant literature. Key Words: Cognitive Flexibility, Coping Styles, Adult

Abstract Studies show that 80-90% of losses are caused by human failure, both as individuals and organizations. Yet, only 3.4% of organizations have mature processes in place to actively identify, evaluate, and manage their risks. Safety culture, which has been introduced for more than two decades, has been considered as an effective approach to improve safety performance. Having a positive safety culture is now seen as a prerequisite for, and the basis for, good safety performance. Thus, good safety culture is considered a predictor of good safety performance. However, there are only a limited number of studies that examine the relationship between safety culture and safety performance. This study used a safety culture maturity framework and the level of injury as the variables measured at five sites of PT. X. Data for both variables were secondary data obtained directly from PT.X. The five sites were found to have a statistically significant difference between their injury rates but no statistically significant difference was observed between their safety culture maturity scores. The figure for the safety culture maturity in each site can be considered similar, considering that they have implemented a safety management system for more than two decades. At PT. X, the safety culture maturity alone cannot be considered to have a direct correlation with safety performance. There may be several other factors that contribute to safety performance. However, in sites with a high injury rate, a lower SCM score was identified in twelve elements of safety culture maturity when compared to the sites with low injury rates.

Ageing of fish otoliths using radiometric methods is now becoming widely accepted. Using this methodology, one has the choice of extracting otolith cores or modeling otolith mass growth. Modeling otolith growth forgoes the difficult work of extracting cores, but one is left with the nearly equally daunting task of selecting and validating an otolith growth model and deriving the corresponding decay equations. We note that the mathematical aspects of this problem appear to have been satisfactorily resolved. However, problems of interpretation remain, and it is not clear whether practitioners fully appreciate the sensitivity of their results to growth model selection and interpretation. We note that the two-stage linear growth model appears to be generally misapplied in the literature. Also, we present evidence that the process of using otolith growth curves estimated from annular ring counts to validate the method of counting annular rings can constitute circular reasoning. Although tedious work, extracting otolith cores seems the most valid way to avoid some serious problems in radiometric age determination work.

The concepts and theories of consumer purchase behaviour have drawn upon various areas such as  social psychology, sociology, psychology, economics and cultural anthropology.Shopping is the examining of goods or services from retailers with the objective of purchase at that time. Different people have different perceptions while they go for shopping. Some just love to shop and think that’s the best thing to do, which gives them happiness also. Some just do shopping just to get the necessary items that are their daily use items and don’t find shopping that much fun. Shopping motivation can be described as consumer’s wants and needs as they communicate with the outlets at which to make a purchase.Store resonance is the ultimate relationship between a store and a customer. The proximity of that bond between the store and the customer can be made preciseby using four factors: loyalty, emotional bond, being a member of the store community and active store involvement. This paper aims at store resonance and shopping motives that has an influence over the gender differences of the shoppers and to study the relationship between the store resonance and shopping motives that influence the purchase behaviour of the shoppers. It is identified thatthere is a significant difference between the shopping motivation and store resonance at 1 percent and 5 percent level. Thus it is concluded that with the increase in the store resonance shopping motivation is also increased.

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between job performance and job satisfaction of individuals working in the sports industry. The sample of the study consisted of 423 people (317 males and 106 females), who work in the sports industry in Istanbul and selected by purposeful sampling method. In the study, in addition to the personal information form, the “Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale” developed by Weiss et al. (1967) and adapted to Turkish by Baycan (1985), the “Job Performance Scale” developed by Kirkman and Rosen (1999) to determine the job performance of employees and adapted to Turkish by Çöl (2008) were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data, independent t-test, ANOVA and Pearson Correlation analyses were performed. The results of the analysis determined that individuals did not differ according to their gender in both their job satisfaction levels and their job performance. It was determined that there was a significant difference in the “External Satisfaction” sub-dimension of the job satisfaction scale according to marital status, and there was a statistical difference in the “Internal Satisfaction” and “External Satisfaction” sub-dimensions of the job satisfaction scale according to the working hours of the participants in the workplace. Moreover, it was determined that there was no significant difference according to the marital status of the participants and the duration of their work. Finally, it was determined that there was a positive and low-level relationship between the sub-dimensions of the job satisfaction scale and the job performance scale. As a result, it was determined that the job satisfaction and job performance levels of the individuals differed according to their socio-demographic characteristics, and the higher their job satisfaction, the higher their job performance.
