Young people with disabilities are often socially inactive because their participation in social and economic processes is limited. In order to reduce this, digital technologies are important, the use of which allows any individual to engage in various types of activities (educational, cultural, economic, etc.).Objective of the paper: to analyze the results of exploratory research on the activity of young people with disabilities in the digital environment. Methods: questionnaire, focus discussion.The results suggest that support and education measures require a differentiated approach, in which it is important to determine the level of interests and digital competence of each young person with disabilities, clearly set goals that can be adapted to individual needs, tasks according to individual abilities/skills. This means working in small groups or individually.

O eixo de atenção deste artigo é o conceito de eXtremo, de Massimo Canevacci, autor, cujas ideias inovadoras, e por que não dizer radicais, têm trazido boas contribuições para pesquisas sobre as juventudes, na interface comunicação/cultura/consumo na contemporaneidade. Trata-se também de uma perspectiva em plena discussão. Porque a temática juventude, destacada em inúmeras pesquisas, estudos, em incontáveis artigos, ensaios e livros que cada vez se proliferam mais, dada a sua crescente relevância, vem sendo abordada sob a perspectiva de vários campos do saber, gerando múltiplas possibilidades de percepção e teorização. Assim, estamos concordando com uma linha de pesquisadores, entre eles Canevacci, que caminham pelo terreno do múltiplo, do plural, envolvendo aspectos sócio-culturais-econômicos-geográficos que falam não de um jovem, mas de jovens; não de uma juventude, mas de juventudes. No limite deste trabalho, ficamos por aqui nesta justificativa para nos dedicar especificamente ao conceito de eXtremo e porque ele se mostra elemento-chave nas discussões que estamos proponho em nossas pesquisas em andamento sobre as juventudes, a cultura na pós-modernidade e os desafios à educação.   PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Juventudes; pós-modernidade; educação.     ABSTRACT The focus of this article is the concept of extreme, from Massimo Canevacci, author, whose innovative ideas, and why not say radicals, have brought good contributions to research on youth, at the interface communication / culture / consumption in the contemporary world.It is also a perspective in full discussion. Because the thematic youth, highlighted in countless researches, studies, countless articles, essays and books that are increasingly proliferating, given their increasing relevance, has been approached from the perspective of several fields of knowledge, generating multiple possibilities of perception and theorizing. Thus, we are agreeing with a line of researchers, among them Canevacci, who walk through the terrain of multiple, plural, involving socio-cultural-economic-geographical aspects that speak not of a young person but of young people; not of a youth but of youth. At the limit of this work, we remain here in this justification to dedicate ourselves specifically to the concept of eXtreme and because it is a key element in the discussions that we are proposing in our ongoing research about youth, culture in postmodernity and the challenges to education.   KEYWORDS: Youth; postmodernity; education.     RESUMEN El eje de atención de este artículo es el concepto de eXtremo, de Massimo Canevacci autor, cuyas ideas innovadoras, y por qué no decir radicales, han traído buenos aportes para investigaciones sobre las juventudes, en el interfaz comunicación/cultura/consumo en la contemporaneidad. Se trata también de una perspectiva en plena discusión. Porque la temática juventud, destacada en innúmeras pesquisas, estudios, en incontables artículos, ensayos y libros que cada vez se proliferan más, dada su creciente relevancia, viene siendo abordada bajo la perspectiva de varios campos del saber, generando múltiples posibilidades de percepción y teorización. In modern conditions of overall informatization, the majorities of children of older pre-school age actively use gadgets and have access to the Internet. However, just one-fourth of parents demonstrate concerns about digital security. That is why the issues associated with cybersecurity training in preschool education, legislative regulation in ensuring the security and development of children in a digital environment are relevant for present-day pre-school education. The study was based on the activities carried out by teachers and psychologists of the methodology association of the Leninsky district of Yekaterinburg. The methods used in the study involved observations, the analysis of information obtained through counseling and psychological checks, interviews, surveys of instructors and specialists dealing with parents in kindergarten. As a result, we revealed the problems with digital competence among all the participants of the process of upbringing and education and defined the impact of parents on the formation of digital literacy. Of special interest is a new position when the modern parent is given a “relief” from a child with the help of gadgets, which calls for family psychological support on pre-schoolers’ secure use of digital technologies. The main task of working with parents is to shape perceptions of the problems associated with free contacts of the child with information technologies and the necessity to control digital information received by the child.

Of particular importance in the system of higher professional education is the provision of the educational process with appropriate information tools, methods and curricula, so that the educational institution, teacher and teacher training system meets modern global and national challenges and provides modern support in digital technologies, develops and forms digital competence. The purpose of the study is to reveal the theoretical aspects of digitalization of professional training of future specialists. Research methods applied: theoretical: analysis, systematization and generalization of pedagogical and psychological research. The professional responsibilities of teachers in the spread of digital technologies are expressed not only in the willingness to use them in the educational process, but also in the manifestation of competencies such as willingness to cooperate in the professional field, communication skills and the desire for continuous development in the digital environment. Digital resources include the ability of teachers to make their competent choice, creation and modification, as well as their exchange in accordance with the objectives of learning. Teaching involves the teacherʼs ability to create, plan and implement digital technologies at different stages of learning, it is important that the center of the educational process was directly the student, and the teacher himself acted mainly as a tutor. Student assessment involves the use of digital tools to implement existing methods of student assessment and provide them with feedback and analysis of their activity in the digital environment. Expanding the rights, opportunities and independence of students in the educational process involves the use of digital technologies by teachers to build an individual trajectory of students, as well as eliminating differentiation in studentsʼ access to appropriate technical devices.

The article discusses the actual problems of the formation of future teachers’ digital competencies, which are an important aspect of professional success. The positive aspects of education digitalization are shown. The task of improving the process of developing digital competencies of future teachers studying in the profiles of Life Safety and Physical Education is being solved. The formation of future teachers’ digital competencies of the life safety basics is considered from the standpoint of a metasubject approach. It is shown that the formation of digital competencies of future life safety teachers is a process of purposeful pedagogical influence on a student in order to develop a set of skills, abilities and knowledge that allows using digital technologies effectively to solve professional problems at all levels of education. The conditions for the formation of digital competencies are determined. The formation of the components of digital competence among practicing teachers of life safety is considered. It is shown that the formation of digital competencies of future life safety teachers is possible implementing specialized disciplines, educational and industrial practices that include the organization of pedagogical activities in a digital environment from the standpoint of health preservation, creating a comfortable educational environment.

Youth Mentoring is the process of matching mentors with young people who need or want a caring responsible adult in their lives. It is defined as an on-going relationship between a caring adult and a young person which is required for self-development, professional growth and carrier development of the mentee and mentors both and all this must be placed within a specific institution context. The purpose of this article is to quantitatively review the three major areas of mentoring research (youth, academic, and workplace) to determine the overall effect size associated with mentoring outcomes for students.

Introduction. The article deals with the training of professional educational program managers for work in the digital environment of a university. The digital environment of the university is considered from the perspective of managing professional educational programs and is a complex open system that integrates system components for managing content, process, resources, contingent, finance and quality of programs that ensure the integrity and continuity of the educational process at all levels and in all respects. The implementation of a digital model for managing educational programs at a university on the basis of a single digital ring of services for an electronic platform for managing educational programs at a university dictates the need for digital competencies of managers of major professional educational programs (OPOP).By digital competence of the leaders of professional educational programs we mean the ability and willingness to perform labor functions in the design, implementation and replication of an educational program using digital technologies that ensure the effectiveness of activitiesThe way to identify professional deficiencies in the field of digital competencies of the leaders of professional educational programs was the personalized design of educational internship trajectories with tutorial support for the internship. The internship trajectory of the heads of OPOP has a modular structure and is aimed at eliminating professional deficits in the field of information, methodological, communication, technological and organizational component of digital competencies. The internship site (virtual laboratory) is a virtual educational space that provides training for educational program managers and online events: hackaths, quests, webinars, etc.Materials and methods. When writing an article, the following methods were used - theoretical and methodological analysis and synthesis of available special domestic and foreign scientific and methodological literature, conceptual analysis of scientific articles and publications on the topic; study and generalization of both domestic and foreign developments and implementation of projects to create digital environments in education management; application of generalization, comparison, forecasting methods, online surveys.Results. The structure of the digital environment for managing professional educational programs at the university is presented. Functionally described is the ring of digital services for the management of OPOP. The analysis of different approaches to assessing the digital competencies of educators is presented. The concept of digital competencies has been clarified in relation to the head of a professional educational program. The content of the components of digital competency is described: informational, methodological, communication, technological, organizational.Discussions and Conclusions. The developed modular program for eliminating professional deficits of heads of professional educational programs in the field of digital competencies, based on the personalized design of educational internship trajectories with tutorial support for internships, will allow you to effectively administer and manage BEP in the digital environment of the university.

Psychological ownership (PO) is important for organisational climate and outcomes, yet, little is known about collective forms of PO in emerging entrepreneurial teams. Based on an in-depth study of a new venture team over three years, we sketch a process model of collective PO development. While studies on individual PO in established organisations highlight individual needs in triggering processes of PO development, our study indicates the importance of temporal, role-based, and input-based alignment of interpersonal processes for the emergence of collective PO in new venture teams. We discuss insights for research on new venture teams and research on small groups.

Objective: General practitioners (GPs) are key health professionals for referrals to mental health specialists. Youth mental health issues are particularly challenging, requiring a competent assessment and understanding of appropriate referral pathways. We surveyed local GPs about their understanding of youth mental health problems and needs to competently look after young patients. Methods: GPs working in the Hunter region were contacted via email, fax and post over a 6-month period in 2019. Results: Seventy-five GPs participated. They reported 577 of 1698 (34%) of young people seen 2 weeks prior to being surveyed presented with a mental health problem. Predominantly, referrals were to private practice psychologists and Headspace. Almost a third (31%) reported having limited understanding of ‘at-risk mental state’ and are ‘not always comfortable’ when facing a young person with a mental health problem. Nearly all (95%) expressed interest in attending specialised training. GPs identified treatment costs, scarce access to psychiatrists and limited patient engagement as the main obstacles to help young people. Conclusions: Effective treatment of a mental health problem relies on early identification. GPs are seeing young people on a regular basis but don’t feel well equipped for this task and are keen to up-skill, which needs to be addressed by targeted training.

Abstract This article develops Karl Mannheim’s theory of generations as a tool to analyze the profound changes that journalism is experiencing in the mainland of China. The article begins with a discussion of generational theory. It demonstrates that the development of critical journalism that occurred in the late 1990s and early 2000s was the result of a unique combination of circumstances. A range of factors, including the introduction of digital technologies and shifts in the political atmosphere, have restricted that kind of journalism. Young people entering journalism today confront different circumstances and their resultant views, as well as their journalistic activities, are significantly different, and less engaged, than those of their seniors. The article concludes by discussing the theoretical modifications which are essential to make the original theory more suitable for contemporary conditions.
