The paper substantiates the importance of the implementation of personality-oriented education in higher education. The author reveals specifics of personality-oriented education at the university, an integral component of which is subjectivity. The author substantiates the legitimacy of extrapolating the ideas of personality-oriented education, the implementation of which is effective in a secondary school, to the university educational process and proposes the formulation of these ideas in relation to the university: the idea of recognizing a particular students personality value; development of the students personal experience; the ascent of the student to culture. The role of a university teacher in the implementation of personality-oriented education ideas in the process of interaction with students is revealed and the need to identify the value foundations of the university teachers orientation towards the implementation of such ideas is substantiated. The author considers that knowledge has a direct impact on human morality, the development of which is carried out through the choice of values and their subsequent appropriation by a person. The author also reveals the role of the teachers moral consciousness in understanding the value foundations of the orientation towards the implementation of personality-oriented education ideas. An example of determining the value foundations of personality-oriented education idea as the recognition of the value of a particular students personality is given and it is substantiated that this value basis is the value of good. The author proves that it is possible to assess the implementation of personality-oriented education ideas according to moral criteria, in the role of which are the values that take on the meaning as values for oneself and for another, the concepts of morality good, duty, mercy, justice, honor. It is substantiated that the axiological space of the university filled with values, the meaning of which is acquired by the concepts of morality, can become a means of teachers orientation towards the implementation of personality-oriented education ideas.

One of the key problems of modern higher education is the development of programs and teaching methods relevant to the conditions of the digital educational environment, characterized by openness, variability, multiculturalism, polymodality and dynamism. At the same time, the question of the psychological readiness of teachers for activities in the new conditions comes to the fore. The article gives a brief overview of the works on the issue of readiness. The predictors of the university teachers’ readiness for activities in the electronic informational and educational environment are described. The role of the variative and invariant aspects of teachers’ readiness for changes in the system of higher education is shown. A model of the university teachers’ readiness for professional activities in the context of digitalization of education is proposed, which includes selfregulatory, motivational, value-semantic, and operational components; possible methods for diagnosing these components are described.

The relevance of the problem is due to the fact that the system of education in the global educational environment turned to be dependable from the challenges of a dynamic socio-cultural reality. High-technological industry with the growing role of knowledge in all the spheres of life activity, and in the sphere of an intellectual labour implies reconsideration of higher school functions as valuable social institutions. The article reveals the potential of higher schools connected with regeneration of knowledge, and with an efficient development of professional-corporative identity of the personnel, interaction with stake-holders, and regeneration of the crisis of reliability in the educational organization. The problem of preserving humanitarian values of education in the process of training as an active subject of knowledge society continues to be principally essential. Therefore, there appeared the need to search for a relatively new socio-cultural model of the university, which will be able to preserve an idea of humanity and fundamentality of higher education. The authors’ scientific positions will be of interest to the University-teachers, the researchers, the young scientists and the post-graduate students.

The article analyses the management structures and studying the experience of involving students into governance in Ukraine's universities. The processes of democratization in higher education have led to an increased student voice in university governance. Therefore, student participation is considered as an important and necessary condition (as stated in the official documents of the Bologna Process) of effective governance in higher education. This article considers student participation in university governance in the context of higher education development in Ukraine, namely as one of the mechanisms for improving university governance. In the public consciousness there is a gradual change in the understanding of the role of students in the educational process. The «subject-object» paradigm in the relationship between student and university, in which students are assigned the role of passive «object», is transferring to «subject-subject» relations where students are considered as a full partner in the educational field. The article conceptually clarifies the key concepts used by European researchers when studying the topic of student participation. First of all, these are such terms as: «student engagement» and «voise student». The official documents posted on the official sites of Ukrainian universities such as: University Development Strategies, Charters, Regulations, Teaching and Teaching Strategies, Student Self-Government Pages, etc., i.e. all those documents that can specify the idea of partnering with students within the university environment and whether student partnership is  formulated in the university-level policies.  To construct the scheme of the analysed materials on the websites of the universities, we have distinguished directions of student involvement: partnership with students in the university environment and involvement of students in the processes of governance; mechanisms for responding to student voice; the decision-making process at the university (transparency, accessibility, openness); mechanisms and tools aimed at intensifying student participation (information work, education, etc.).

The conditions are investigated in which Spanish university teachers carry out their teaching and research functions. 655 teachers from the University of Oviedo took part in this study by completing the Academic Setting Evaluation Questionnaire (ASEQ). Of the three dimensions assessed in the ASEQ, Satisfaction received the lowest ratings, Social Climate was rated higher, and Relations with students was rated the highest. These results are similar to those found in two studies carried out in the academic years 1986/87 and 1989/90. Their relevance for higher education is twofold because these data can be used as a complement of those obtained by means of students' opinions, and the crossing of both types of data can facilitate decision making in order to improve the quality of the work (teaching and research) of the university institutions.

The application of constructive geometric modeling to pedagogical models of teaching graphic disciplines today is a promising direction for using computer technology in the educational process of educational institutions. The essence of the method of constructive geometric modeling is to represent any operation performed on geometric objects in the form of a transformation, as a result of which some constructive connection is established, and the transformation itself can be considered as a result of the action of an abstract cybernetic device. Constructive geometric modeling is a popular information tool for information processing in various applied areas, however, this tool cannot be appreciated without the presence of appropriate software systems and developed design techniques. Traditionally, constructive geometric modeling is used in the design of mechanical engineering, energy, aircraft and shipbuilding facilities, in architectural and design engineering. The need to study descriptive geometry at the university in recent years has something in common with the issues of mastering graphic packages of computer programs in the framework of the new discipline "Engineering and Computer Graphics". The well-known KOMPAS software product is considered the simplest and most attractive for training. It should be noted the important role of graphic packages in the teaching of geometric disciplines that require a figurative perception of the material by students. Against the background of a reduction in classroom hours, computer graphics packages are practically the only productive teaching methodology, successfully replacing traditional tools - chalk and blackboard.

Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are key to create sustainable higher education institutions (HEIs). Most researchers focused on the students’ perspective, especially during the online teaching caused by COVID-19; however, university teachers are often forgotten, having their opinion missing. This study’s objective was to determine the factors that contribute to the inclusion of ICTs. The research based on a comparative study through an online qualitative survey focused on the inclusion and use of ICTs in two HEIs and two different moments (pre-and post-lockdowns). There were differences regarding country and working experience (p < 0.001), being linked to the ICTs use, evaluation of obstacles, and the role given to ICTs (p < 0.05). The COVID-19 caused modifications of the teachers’ perspectives, including an improvement of the opinion of older teachers regarding the essentialness of ICTs in the teaching process (p < 0.001) and worsening their perception about their ICTs skill (p < 0.05). Additionally, an initial model focused only on the university teachers and their use of ICTs has been proposed. In conclusion, the less experienced university teachers used more ICTs, identified more greatly the problematic factors, and considered more important the ICTs, with the perception of all teachers modified by COVID-19.
