Introduction. It is common knowledge that lives and health of people as well as safe operation of various infrastructures depend on the high level of professionalism of the staff responsible for safety. It fully belongs to the personnel structure of the State Fire-Fighting Service (SFFS) of the Emergency Control Ministry (EMERCOM) of Russia. However, in a technologically developed society, there is a contradiction between the increased requirements to young officers’ competencies and the impossibility to achieve a proper complex of graduates’ characteristics by providing education through only standard traditional techniques, which continue to be prevalent in higher education and ensure optimisation of professional activity in general. The aim of the present publication was to present the developed methodology of game-based learning for training of cadets of educational organisations of higher education of the EMERCOM of Russia. The methodology is designed to develop cadets’ practical skills in the field of rescue operations and firefighting.Methodology and research methods. In the course of the research, the methods of system analysis, synthesis and modelling of professional activity were employed. The research is based on the provisions of the associative-reflex theory, the theory of motivation development and the theory of contextual, modular, problem-based, reflexive and game-based learning. Results and scientific novelty. The interrelated elements of the pedagogical theories and didactic principles, united by a common scientific-methodological objective, allowed the authors to create a methodological tool for gradual formation and consolidation of organisational and administrative competencies of young officers of the State Fire-Fighting Service. The authors considered monitoring indicators of the results of training of graduates of Ivanovo Fire and Rescue Academy in order to develop the methodology, which purposefully addresses the shortcomings and gaps of education of future firefighters’ knowledge and their practical skills. The competitive spirit increases positive dynamics of the educational process and contextual content of business games, built on realistic situations from the field of firefighting and implementation of rescue operations at various socioindustrial, housing and transport infrastructures, attract interest of cadets and stimulate their motivation to improvement of own business qualities. The advantages of the offered methodology are the following: the possibility to design various schemes of practical training through the modular principle of their design; the development in cadets of the skills of team interaction, acquisition of professional experience by them in the process of role performance of duties of chiefs of rescue and fire fighting offices and department guards; the readiness formation to quickly adapt to new circumstances and to cope with non-standard problems in the conditions of limited time; to develop the abilities of critical thinking in young officers, to reflect own activity and to define the directions of professional growth.Practical significance. The proposed methodology demonstrated its effectiveness and practical importance for cadets’ training in the field of rescue and firefighting, as confirmed by, inter alia, the improvement of academic performance in special disciplines. The proposed methodological tool has shown promise in more rational redistribution of teaching time and expansion of the base of practical modules for designing business games for the purpose of development of new relevant professional competencies in students.

The dissertation is the first comprehensive study of practical training of social workers in high school of Poland. The analysis of the source base with the use of searchbibliographic, logical-system and interpretive-analytical methods revealed that a considerable amount of work is devoted to covering the issue of practical training of social workers in the educational process of higher education in modern world science, but systematic historical and pedagogical research on the development of the practical training of social workers in high school of Poland at the present stage of development was not carried out. The theoretical principles of the genesis and development of practical training of social workers in high school of Poland are revealed. It has been established that the legislative provision of training of social workers in Poland is a complex and dynamic process, which is constantly changing in accordance with international standards, regulatory requirements, social changes and needs for this type of service in a European country. However, the adoption of a number of legislative acts, which, in the light of European tendencies, regulated the social policy of the state during the period under investigation, predetermined much earlier the delineation of the professional space for the social worker in Poland and the emergence of a system of vocational training of social workers with the domination of their practical competitiveness on the labor market. On the basis of a holistic historical and pedagogical analysis it was established that the process of practical training of a social worker in high school of Poland as a social phenomenon includes two conditionally defined, substantiated and interconnected periods with corresponding transformations at the genesis stages: the first period – the development of practical training of social workers of the Polish Higher Education (1990 – 2004): (1990 – 1995); (1995 – 1999); (1999 – 2004); the second period – the intensification of the practical training of social workers of the Polish Higher Education (2004 – 2018): (2004 – 2008); (2008 – 2018). The practical component of the vocational training of social workers in high school of Poland is synergistically due to the subject-subjective interaction and mobility of the educational institution and the student, with a predictable orientation for future professional cooperation between the social worker and the client. Such an approach is an integral part of the social system of the state, which determines political, social, educational and personal transformations. In order to make changes, improve, review some of its elements and how to interact with them, one can apply only those pedagogical influences that are associated with natural trends in its development. The progressive ideas of the Polish experience regarding the practical training of social workers are outlined and the possibilities of their creative use in the domestic educational space are carried out. The study does not claim to comprehensively and exhaustively disclose all aspects of the problem. The directions of further work include the implementation of a comparative analysis of the professional training of social workers in Ukraine and the EU, the development of tools for ensuring the professional selfimprovement of specialists of the stated specialty by means of innovative foreign technologies, etc. Key words: practical training, practical courses, practice, practical social work, social worker, practical training of a social worker in Polish Higher Education.

Improving the quality of higher education requires constant professional development and growth of both young and more experienced university teachers. Undoubtedly, professional growth is necessary, first of all, for young teachers of higher educational institutions, because they have no experience of working with students and insufficient knowledge of the discipline they teach. The professional growth of a teacher, which takes place throughout his/her creative activity, is aimed at improving the previously acquired and acquiring new competencies within the framework of his/her professional activity. Scientific and pedagogical workers systematically update the acquired professional knowledge and skills, master modern educational technologies and develop their professional and personal qualities. The continuous professional development of healthcare professionals occupies a special place. The systematic process of training and improving professional competencies after specialists receive higher and postgraduate education in internship, gives them the opportunity to maintain and improve the standards of professional activity in accordance with the needs of healthcare. The provision of high-quality educational services in medical universities is carried out by highly professional teachers who constantly improve their knowledge, skills and abilities through continuous professional development. The administration of the Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy constantly and in every possible way contributes to the professional development of the teachers of its institution, creating the necessary conditions for this, and also helps in choosing forms of increasing and improving pedagogical skills. Based on the results of work over the past year, the staff of the academy took part especially actively in the work of international scientific and methodological conferences, international webinars, online seminars, distance courses, courses for improving pedagogical skills, and also have numerous publications of the scientific and methodological direction in publications included in Scopus database, Web of Science and materials of educational and methodological conferences. Research and teaching staff of the Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy created a personal educational portfolio based on the results of continuous improvement of pedagogical skills. Each type of work is evaluated by a certain number of credits, which makes it possible to summarize the results of continuous professional growth of scientific and pedagogical staff of the academy for each year of their work. In Ukraine, each university forms its own model of professional development of research and teaching staff, depending on the direction of training of specialists and the specifics of the educational process. Continuing professional development is an integral part of the activities of higher education institutions and contributes to the acquisition of new and improvement of acquired professional competencies by research and teaching staff within their professional activities, which corresponds to modern trends in the educational process

The author reveals the necessity of introducing into the educational and professional programs of preparation of masters of non-pedagogical specialties of the discipline "Didactics of higher education". Formation of pedagogical competences of the teacher of the higher school will allow the future specialists professional activity in the institutions of higher education. The article reveals the essence of didactic competence and peculiarities of its formation in higher education students in the current conditions of organizing the initial process. The competency approach should permeate all aspects of student training. Therefore, a special (didactic) competence should be included in the list of the graduates' learning outcomes. The didactic competence is the ability to apply knowledge of psychology and pedagogy (didactics) in the educational process of higher education institutions. In the orientation of the educational and professional program of the master of non-pedagogical specialties it is necessary to enter competencies that allow him to engage in teaching activities. General competences add to the ability to carry out pedagogical activities using innovative educational technologies, and special competences add to the ability to organize the educational process and carry out scientific research in order to solve topical problems of the theory, methodology, organization and practice of higher education students. One of the most important compulsory (normative) disciplines that enable the future specialist to teach special and professional disciplines in higher education institutions should be "Didactic of Higher Education". This is the main feature of forming didactic competence in higher education institutions. But the competent approach in higher education does not come down to a separate discipline, but because the phenomenon of integral and dynamic develops in the process of formal, non-formal and informal education and is in constant development and self-development. All stages of preparation of the master of non-pedagogical specialties for teaching activity should be directed on achievement of the main purpose of the educational process — formation of pedagogical competences of applicants of higher education.

The article is devoted to the use of interdisciplinarity as an innovative approach in the educational process of art institutions of higher education on the example of studying the discipline «Evolution of artistic styles in art» included in educational master's programs. This discipline is based on the theory and practice of professional development of a teacher-musician, who provides the Master of Arts education process, shapes their professional development necessary for their future musical and pedagogical creativity, skills, and pedagogical culture. The content of the discipline consists of the introduction of artistic styles’ scientific and theoretical fundamentals to the future specialists. The objectives of the course are 1) the theoretical generalization of the historical experience of the evolution of artistic styles, 2) acquaintance with the best examples of artistic culture, representing different styles and directions, 3) mastering complex problems of stylistic analysis. The aim of the course is the establishment of a strategy for a professional growth as part of the vocational training of masters in the following educational areas «Secondary education. Musical Art» and «Musical Art»; mastering the scientific and theoretical foundations of the artistic styles’ analysis as a formative student course of the music and pedagogical education in higher education. The interdisciplinary approach can be implemented in two main formats. A. Kolot believes that with the help of the first format he builds bridges between different sciences, brings them together on an informal basis without violating their individuality and uniqueness. In this format, the discipline «Evolution of artistic styles in art» «builds bridges» with such disciplines as: philosophy, history, foreign languages, general psychology, culturology, sociology, art culture, aesthetics. In the second format, interdisciplinarity is presented as a real tool for unifying sciences, and the emergence of integrative products. In this format the course «Evolution of Artistic Styles in Art» involves an organic combination of such disciplines as history and theory of music, theater, ballet, art history, philosophy, art culture and literature, analysis of musical form, choral class, music psychology, and others. Therefore, we propose to define the student course «Evolution of artistic styles in art» as a complex, interdisciplinary field of knowledge and consider the application of an interdisciplinary approach in the practice of a teacher of artistic institutions.
