China, as demonstrated by its macroeconomic data and good cooperation with the IMF, is the second biggest global economy. The breakdown of the pandemic was a big shock that brought China’s forecast GDP growth back to 2020. The impending recession resulted in economic losses, reduced growth, and a further decline in the labor economy. The present study aims to analyze the covetous effects of COVID-19 via Chinese enterprises on the labor and industrial economy. The study focuses on the consequences for the industry and workforce of COVID-19. The research helps shed light on the issues and progress in China’s economy and encompasses its uniqueness. The paper adds to the special issue on Chinese economic issues and progress. The Chinese population is utilized for study, which shows that industries, whose labor is more sensitive to covetousness, are more likely to display less efficiency and profitability. There was a negative link between the research variables, which is less than 5 percent. The greater the industries and workforce exposed to COVID-19, the lower their relative economy, the greater the populations the lower their relative economy. The research is the first of its sort in the world to be published and is regarded as innovative research of its sort.

Affect holds the promise of destabilizing and unsettling us, as organizational subjects, into new states of being. It can shed light on many aspects of work and organization, with implications both within and beyond organization studies. Affect theory holds the potential to generate exciting new insights for the study of organizations, theoretically, methodologically and politically. This Special Issue seeks to explore these potential trajectories. We are pleased to present five contributions that develop such ideas, drawing on a wide variety of approaches, and invoking new perspectives on the organizations we study and inhabit. As this Special Issue demonstrates, the world of work offers an exciting landscape for studying the ‘pulsing refrains of affect’ that accompany our lived experiences.

Statistics reveal that some one billion employable workers are unemployed— almost 33 percent of the total global workforce. Unemployment has therefore come to be a significant political issue in Western Europe, the developing world, and the former ‘tiger’ economies of the Far East and South East Asia. Former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, undergoing a process of structural reform, have also significant populations that are in search of employment. The world outlook for employment is therefore very grim. Such high levels of unemployment cause major economic losses not only to national economies but also to the world economy by reducing growth rates, thereby further adding to the problem of unemployment, a vicious cycle indeed. The rise of unemployment levels requires radical new measures that need to be put in place if this problem is to be tackled effectively at the national and international levels.

Mechatronics - an ever-growing field enblacing actuators and sensors, electronics and mechanics, controls, system design and integration was founded in Japan at the end of the 1960s. It now supports industrial development, the global economy and inventions that enable people to live comfortably around the world.Asia is one of the most active areas in mechatronics research. Asian experts meet and mix in meetings and conferences such as the Japan-China symposium on Mechatronics started in 1988, Asia International Symposium on Mechatronics (AISM) organized by the Japanese Society of Precision Engineering and Chinese committees since 2004 to bring together researchers and engineers in this multidisciplinary field to stimulate new ideas, to share knowledge on practical problems and solutions, as well as to facilitate cooperation for the future. This special issue on “Mechatronics Technologies from Asia to the World” includes many of the fine papers presented at AISM2008 in August 2008, and encourages scientists in related fields to submit their research to encourage interested researchers in developing systems and technologies to become more skilled, smarter and tougher in the real world. We thank the authors for their interesting contributions and the reviewers for their devoted time and effort.

The topic of open justice has only been little explored perhaps due to its traditionally having been considered a “closed” field. There is still a need to know what open justice really means, to explore the use of information and technology in enabling open justice, and to understand what openness in the judiciary can do to improve government, society, and democracy. This special issue aims to shed light on the concept of openness in the judiciary by identifying and analyzing initiatives across the world.

COVID-19 has caused an uproar in China and around the world since the end of 2019. It is coming violently, and it has serious impacts on the Chinese economy since the time of the Chinese New Year. With the passage of time, in the spring of 2020, the new virus ravaged the world’s major economies; the world would fall into recession in 2020, and the financial markets had fluctuated sharply. “Taking back time and making up for the loss” is China’s general tone for promoting economic and social development in the context of the current epidemic (Chen, Dou, & Long, 2020). How to get rid of the adverse effects of the epidemic on the society and to promote better social development are topics of practical significance. We study the background of the epidemic which impact on China’s domestic and foreign economic, as well as the fluctuations in the world economy. We analyze various economic issues arising in the current context, investigate relevant data, apply the Mundell effective market classification principle for relevant analysis, and put forward reasonable suggestions accordingly.

The pandemic has caused huge damage around the world. To date, more than 100 million people have been infected, more than 2 million have died, bringing us to self-isolation and causing a halt to economic activity as countries have imposed strict travel restrictions to halt the spread of the virus. The economic losses caused by the pandemic, the biggest economic shock in decades. The economic losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are largely driven by falling demand, meaning that consumers can no longer buy the goods and services available in the global economy. This situation is clearly evident in such affected areas as tourism and the hotel sector. To stop the spread of the virus, countries have imposed travel restrictions, which means that many cannot purchase tickets for holidays or business meetings. Such a reduction in consumer demand leads to the loss of planned revenue for airlines, they have to reduce the cost of flights, reduce the number of expenses. Without government support, the airline will eventually have to cut staff to cut costs, too. Despite the difficult situation in which the world economy finds itself, there are reasons to avoid the worst-case scenario. From past crises, governments have come to the conclusion that a recession caused by falling demand can be overcome by public spending. Accordingly, the authorities of many countries are increasing the assistance of their citizens and the availability of enterprises to cash, which is necessary for the maintenance of personnel during the pandemic. In addition, as practice shows, some industries benefit even in the face of a pandemic, for example, online retail sales, whose profit in 2020 was $ 3.9 trillion, as well as retail sales of food, government and medical industries have some economic growth that provides compensation for losses. Keywords: Pandemic, COVID-19, World Economy, Globalization, Crisis.

Rabbits are considered an important and healthy source of animal protein all over the world. They are susceptible to important diseases that can reduce their productivity, causing severe economic losses. Coccidiosis is one of the important protozoon diseases caused by Eimeria species. Rabbits are highly susceptible to coccidiosis, especially after weaning time. Coccidiosis in rabbits has two forms, namely hepatic and intestinal. Affected animals indicated the symptoms of diarrhea, reduced appetite, dehydration, and weight loss as well as liver and intestinal lesions. Diagnosis is based on the detection of the infective stages of the protozoon in feces or affected tissues. Prevention and control are achieved by adopting hygienic measures and using different anticoccidial drugs. The use of natural alternatives for the prophylaxis of coccidiosis in rabbits indicated promising results. Vaccine production trials are still under investigation. Accordingly, this review article aims to shed light on coccidiosis in rabbits considering pathology, diagnosis, and control.
