The Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesian number 8 year 2012 stipulates that the implementation of Indonesian National Curriculum Framework-based on curriculum 2013 will improve the quality of vocational high school graduates at level 2 and their learning outcomes, including cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The development of the Indonesian National Curriculum framework-based curriculum 2013 was an activity in generating an educational curriculum at an institutional level which aligns the needs of business and industry. The design of this study was the 4-D models of Thiagarajan, namely 1) the definition; 2) design; 3) development; and 4) deployment, but this was only conducted up to the development stage. Methodology: Regarding the background, the research questions were formulated as follows: (1) how is the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the instructional design of the Basic Electrical and Electronic subject?; (2) how is the students’ response to the instructional design of the Basic Electrical and Electronic Subject?; and (3) how are the results of students’ learning outcomes of Basic Electrical and Electronic Subject?. Results: This study aimed to find out: (1) the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the instructional design of the Basic Electrical and Electronic Subject; (2) the students’ response of the instructional design of the Basic Electrical and Electronic Subject; and (3) the students’ learning outcomes of the Basic Electrical and Electronic Subject. Implications/Applications: The conclusion of this research is: 1) the average score on the validity of the instructional design was 3.722 (very high), the average  score on its feasibility was 3.72 (very practical), while the average score of its effectiveness was 71.87 (effective); 2) the students’ responses to the instructional design were 92%, which was satisfactory; and 3) the average score of the students’ learning results was 85, over the minimum score determined, with the learning mastery of 100%.

The Indonesian government believes that textbooks play a strategic role in improving the quality of primary and secondary education (Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No.11 of 2005). Nevertheless, Abdulkarim (2010) revealed that the quality of school textbooks, either in junior or vocational / high school is very low. The contradiction between Regulation of the Minister of National Education Regulation goal and Abdulkarim (2010), and some previous research, such as Heskett et al. (1997), and Dimitriades (2006) motivates this study to analyze the effect of satisfaction to commitment and loyalty of vocational teachers in Bandung. The results showed that there was no correlation between satisfaction and the commitment and between the commitment and loyalty, but there is a significant direct correlation between satisfaction and loyalty. This shows that users of textbooks as the government policy consumers has loyalty in the sense will do its use continuously, but the loyalty is not based on a commitment, but only based on satisfaction. This is suggests that vocational high school teachers are satisfied with the textbook but don’t want to rely on Regulation of National Education Minister, since commitment is defined by Dwyer et al. (1987), Morgan and Hunt (1994), and Pritchard et al. (1999) as a stable seeking and defensive attitude towards not to change a choice. They are easy to change attitudes through using of Electronic Text Boook (ETB) as teaching materials. The Authors also revealed some limitations and recommendations

Learning outcomes are the results achieved in the form of numbers or scores after being given a test of learning outcomes at the end of each meeting. The quality of learning outcomes itself is influenced by several factors; the principal's leadership style, professional competence and school climate. This research aims to know the contribution of (1) principal’s leadership style, (2) professional competence, and (3) school climate on the quality of learning outcomes at Vocational High School (SMK) in Padang. This research used a quantitative method. The data were collected by using questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using multiple linear regressions using LISREL. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the principal leadership style and the teachers’ professional competence on the quality of learning outcomes at several vocational schools in Padang. There was a positive and significant relationship between the principal leadership style and professional competence through the school climate on the quality of learning outcomes at several vocational schools in Padang.

So far, in implementing school strategies, they tend not to utilize Information and Communication Technology (ICT), despite the availability of ICT resources available. Stages of strategic management are needed to generate the vision, mission, objectives, policy, program, budget, and procedures as well as control and evaluation process as an effort to utilize ICT to improve school quality. Based on the interpretation and the results of the study, it is concluded that schools have organized stages in strategic management that enable schools to have a quality profile. The impact of effective utilization of ICTs for schools is the achievement of effective school management, as per the National Education Standards, which is characterized by effective planning, implementation, control, and evaluation of school ICTs.The purpose of this study is to get a general description, describe, and reveal the Strategic Management of Information and Communication Technology Utilization to Improve the Quality of School Learning in Ciledug Al Musaddadiyah Vocational High School and Garut 1 Vocational High School, both on environmental analysis, strategic formulation, implementation and strategic evaluation. The research method used in this research is the case study method, because the problems studied occur in the place and situation of Ciledug Al Musaddadiyah Vocational School and Vocational High School 1 Garut. The use of case study models in this study is based on the consideration that to provide an overview of the strategic management activities of the use of ICTs carried out at vocational high schools with the ultimate goal of being able to improve the quality of school learning. Based on observations in the field of SMK 1 Garut and SMK Al Musaddadiyah Ciledug Garut is one of the public schools and private schools that have these advantages.

There are over 300 high schools in the Republic of Moldova, most of which do not have 10-12th parallel classes, many of which also lead to the lack of qualified teachers in some subjects, which has a negative impact on the quality of students education. The optimization of the high school network can be achieved by keeping only about 100 of their existing number, planning them in new type institutions: district high-schools, boarding schools and mixed high schools of both these categories.

This research is carried out to examine the developed circular motion physics module in a cooperative learning setting for students of Grade X Science Senior High School in Banjarmasin. This study's general objectives are to produce a circular motion physics module integrated with gumbaan local wisdom in cooperative learning settings and describe its feasibility. Moreover, this study's specific objectives aimed to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the module. This study utilizes the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) development design model. The instruments used consisted of module validation sheets, students’ questionnaire responses, and learning outcome test. The results of the study indicated that: (1) the validity of the module, based on the content and display, obtained a score of 3.20, which fell in the "good" category, (2) the practicality of the module, based on students' questionnaire responses, obtained a percentage of 64.92% which is categorized as “good”, and (3) the effectiveness of the module, based on students' test scores, obtained a score of 0.44 which belonged in the "moderate" category. It is then concluded that the circular motion physics module, which integrated gumbaan local wisdom contents in cooperative learning settings, is proven feasible for learning and teaching and can be used as an alternative reference in improving the quality of learning, especially to improve the learning outcomes of learners. This module can be used as a reference that teachers can use in learning at senior high school.
