Watershed morphological analysis is momentous for controlling floods risk, forethought and management of the watershed area, as well as it is foremost useful to perceive catchment hydrology. Remote sensing and geographic information system are used in recent times as a tool for watershed delineation and its planning. Many types of input parameters generally use for watershed delineation such as Toposheet, ALOS, SRTM DEM, ASTER DEM and CARTOSAT DEM. Based on analysis SRTM DEM gives meticulous and clear results compared to other DEM files. Morphometric based prioritization of watershed was given in many research papers but an appropriate result of priority range was not given and this type of study confusing to evaluate the rank of priority based on its erosional behaviour. In many papers results of morphometric parameters were not indicate how to retaliate these results of morphometric parameters to a watershed. This paper deals with the implication of different values of morphometric parameters with adequate contextual information. This review paper can give useful information for the morphometric analysis of watersheds.

Changes and deformities to the feet are frequent among athletes. The aim of this review paper is to determine the prevalence of foot deformities among athletes with various backgrounds, as well as to determine the influence of the deformities on motor task performance. The compiled studies were published between 2002 and 2018. The following electronic databases were used for the search: PubMed, MEDLINE, Google Scholar, EBSCO. The identified studies had to satisfy the following criteria: that they included athletes and that the subject of analysis were the differences in foot deformities in relation to performing motor tasks. Research papers on this topic were reviewed and analyzed. They are clearly organized in tabular form, with a clear outline of the details of the research. The results of 16 research papers are summed up. The most prevalent deformity among athletes is flat feet (pes planus). The studies indicate the various deformities which are prevalent in particular sports, and determine the changes in the feet of the athletes, in particular for the foot which plays a decisive role in certain sports. Individuals with flat feet scored lower results compared to individuals with normal arches in terms of time and reaction speed when performing motor tasks.

Amid globalization and market liberalization, urban informality has continued to grow in leaps and bounds in many parts of the world. Against this backdrop, the purpose of this paper is to provide a systematic review of studies conducted on urban economic informality at various geopolitical contexts to provide an update on the current state of knowledge in the urban informal economy-related research. A total number of 290 studies were sourced from various academic sources; however, a total number of 166 research papers satisfied the requirements of this review paper. The findings of this paper show that research on the urban informal economy has grown from 2000 to 2021, which is a 22-year period in which this review paper was based. The main themes of urban economic informality research depict it as a multifaceted system that is constituted by inputs, processes and outputs that have linkages with the formal economy. Based on these findings, it is recommended that more research should focus on how to integrate research on urban economic informality into the broader agenda of sustainable development.

It was seen that in large scale industries, the Six Sigma is used form previous decades but when goes to small and medium scale industries, there is lack of implementation of Six Sigma and its tools, so in present review paper, various research papers selected in which small and medium scale industries are selected. The availability of huge volumes of online research papers over scholarly communities has been increasing rapidly with the evolution of the Internet. Meanwhile, several researchers confront troubles while retrieving suitable and relevant research papers according to their research necessities due to information overload. Besides, the research necessities vary from researcher to researcher according to their contextual state and the online behavior in sequential access. Conventional recommendation approaches for instance content-based filtering (CBF) and collaborative filtering (CF) utilize content features and rankings correspondingly, in order to produce recommendations for the researchers. In spite of this, it is inevitable to incorporate scholar’s contextual information and sequential access behavior into the recommendation procedure to generate accurate and personalized recommendations for research papers. Conventional recommender systems do not incorporate such information in the recommended procedure to compute similarities of scholars and provide recommendations; thus, they are more liable to produce an irrelevant list of recommendations in a scholarly environment. Moreover, conventional recommendation approaches generate inaccurate recommendations in presence of a high level of sparsity in the rankings. In this article, we introduce a novel method for research paper recommendations that incorporates the benefits of collective filtering (CF), context-awareness, and sequential pattern mining (SPM) to propose research papers to scholars in a hybrid manner. Context-awareness in our methodology involves the scholar's contextual state, such as skill level and research goals; SPM is used to mine weblogs and reveal sequential access actions of scholars, and CF is used to measure predictions based on correlations between scholars and generate context-aware and sequential trend mining based recommendations for the targeted scholars. Experimental evaluations of our approach indicate the excellence of our approach over other baseline approaches in terms of precision, recall, F1, and mean absolute error (MAE).

Concrete is highly used construction material with cement being its major ingredient. Also, the demand for good quality of concrete is increasing because of the fast-growing urbanization. But there are certain problems associated with the manufacturing of cement. One of the major problems being production of carbon dioxide causing pollution in environment, the manufacturing of cement is quite expensive and it also leads to the depletion of resources. In order to curtail the consumption of cement, it has become inevitable to replace cement by certain amount with substituent materials that are cheaper to produce in order to lower down the financial cost of concrete production by some extent. The review paper, elaborates many properties of concrete by the inclusion of Kota stone slurry after evaluating several research papers. The following paper discusses numerous properties of concrete including workability, compressive strength, split tensile strength, water absorption and modulus of elasticity. The paper demonstrates that when used appropriately, inclusion of Kota stone slurry in concrete had a positive impact on concrete by increasing the strength and durability.

Currently, for seemingly every type of cancer, dysregulated levels of non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) are reported and non-coding transcripts are expected to be the next class of diagnostic and therapeutic tools in oncology. Recently, alterations to the ncRNAs transcriptome have emerged as a novel hallmark of cancer. Historically, ncRNAs were characterized mainly as regulators and little attention was paid to the mechanisms that regulate them. The role of modifications, which can control the function of ncRNAs post-transcriptionally, only recently began to emerge. Typically, these modifications can be divided into reversible (i.e., chemical modifications: m5C, hm5C, m6A, m1A, and pseudouridine) and non-reversible (i.e., editing: ADAR dependent, APOBEC dependent and ADAR/APOBEC independent). The first research papers showed that levels of these modifications are altered in cancer and can be part of the tumorigenic process. Hence, the aim of this review paper is to describe the most common regulatory modifications (editing and chemical modifications) of the traditionally considered “non-functional” ncRNAs (i.e., microRNAs, long non-coding RNAs and circular RNAs) in the context of malignant disease. We consider that only by understanding this extra regulatory layer it is possible to translate the knowledge about ncRNAs and their modifications into clinical practice.

Among fruit plants belonging to the Rosaceae family, medlar (Mespilus) can be classified as neglected or underutilized. It is a genus of two species of flowering plants: Mespilus germanica (common medlar) and Mespilus canescens. Appreciated for its specific taste and flavor, medlar also possesses biological properties (antioxidant and antimicrobial). Despite the special properties of medlar, there are few research papers on this subject. This review paper includes data not only on medlar fruits but also its leaves, bark, and bud flowers. The main identified components are presented, as well as several biological properties, morphological properties, ethnopharmacological uses, and molecular biology analyses emerging from the scientific papers published in this area.
