The study aims to search for syntax errors in machine translation. The study focuses on challenges in English Arabic Machine translation, types of errors in translation software, the most developed technologies in machine translation, and arbitrary Arabic text generating problems generally and in the Arabic language. This study use qualitative research design, qualitative data, drawn from our pragmatic analysis are presented, from perceptions of language learners and tutors in relation of Machine translation. The article discusses the disappointing fact that most intelligent machines are built to produce woodenly literal or paraphrased translations, but in Arabic, the errors are in high numbers. The paper results show an urgent need to build the machine language infrastructure in the Arabic language field to help people achieve accurate translation. To overcome the problems of machine translation, we recommend that we enter enough vocabulary and linguistic texts in the machine.

The objective of this study is to explain the reason of using euphemism in religious language especially in article on Konsultasi Syariah. The research methodology used in the research is qualitative research design. The data were analyzed by using interactive model of qualitative data management and analysis namely data collection, data condensation, data display and verification and conclusion. The findings of this study revealed that the reasons of writer used euphemism especially in religious language tot only to make fear but also avoid taboo words, to show respect and to avoid uncomfortable feelings. The conclusion is euphemism that used on Konsutasi Syariah are in Arabic language and the most dominant used for taboo words  Keywords: Euphemism, Religious Language, Article, Online

This study aims to explain  the drill pattern technique as an old historical technique that still exists and used by foreign language teachers to date. This technique is in fact used as the effective main technique of  audio-lingual approach and its variants in learning a foreign language. This research is a qualitative research because it does not touch on the results of nouns or quantity values. As for the type, including library research whose primary data is in the form of qualitative data which sourced from books and literature references relating to the theme under study.The results of this study found that drill patterns techniques in its development lived in two periods, namely during the environmentalist period and the nativist period.

This research paper aims to analyze the comparative between British English and American English, because many language learners or English users still confuse to differentiate both of them, especially in the countries where English is foreign language. Sometimes, it cause misunderstanding in communication. The research paper use qualitative research design with characteristic of content analysis. It uses observation and documentation in collecting the data. The obtained data is vocabulary in Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary 9th edition which published in 2015. The researcher took 150 words to be analyzed. Based on the data analysis there are three differences in Vocabulary of British English and American English.  The researchers divide the differences into three categories they are differences in Vocabulary (word using), spelling, and pronunciation. The researcher found 50 different words in vocabulary (word using), 50 different words in spelling and 50 words which have differences in pronunciation. Based on findings of this research, it is significant for language learners or English user to know the differences of British English and American English and improve their vocabulary of British and American English in order to decrease misunderstanding in communication. The researchers hope language learners or English user can decide which English varieties that will they use and the can use one of English varieties consistently.

The objective of this study is to explain the reason of utilizing subtitling strategies in The Meg movie texts. The research methodology used in the research is qualitative research design. The data were analyzed by using interactive model of qualitative data management and analysis namely data collection, data condensation, data display and verification and conclusion. The findings of this study revealed that the reasons of translator used subtitling strategies in The Meg Movie Texts consisted of historical circumstances, traditions and the strategy to which is accustomed for both the source and the target viewer. Background:Smoke-free policies in school established to protect and reduce young students' smoking rates from cigarette smoke's harmfulness. This research to describe implementation of smoke-free policies in school and determine factors influencing the policy's implementation. Method: Qualitative research design and descriptive. Informants determined use purposive sampling. Subjects research were headmaster, student vice headmaster, counseling teachers, homeroom teachers, employees, and students. Technique data collection were observation, interviews, and documentation. Validity data was checked with triangulation technique. Qualitative data analysis used an interactive model based on theory of George C. Edward III, which consists of communication, resources, dispositions, and bureaucratic structures. Result: Smoke-free policies in school hasn’t been implemented optimally, especially in the resource. There are some teachers and employees who still smoke. There isn’t specific budget for the implementation of the smoke-free policies. Billboards facilities with no smoking or smoke-free area are still limited. Supporting factor is communication; smoke-free area policy always communicated to school residents. Disposition factor; there is commitment of policy implementers. Bureaucratic structure factor; there is SOP's existence in implementing the policies. Conclusion: Implementation of smoke-free policies in school has not been maximized, so it needs to be supported by all factors, both communication factors, resource factors, disposition factors, and bureaucratic factors. The purpose of the study was to understand the perceptions of EFL college students toward collaborative learning (CL). This qualitative research design used narrative approach since the study emphasized on each participant’s learning experiences with CL strategy. The data collection instruments for this research were consisted by interview questions. The researcher observed, took notes, and recorded Interview responses from each participant in order to understand their perceptions of collaborative learning. The finding of this study provides inspirations and motivation for English teachers to offer second language learners suitable curriculum and environment. Through collaborative learning, the results show that students quickly realize that they are able to solve problems as a group that they would not be able to solve as individuals. Students were satisfied by peer coaching, and peer review. Students worked together and brought effective strategies into the classroom activity.

Textbook is one components that affects the achievement of learning goals, especially the Arabic text books. The book al-Lughah al-‘Arabiyah al-Mu’ashirah was written by Eckehard Schulz is one of the Arabic language textbooks that studied by the Arabic language learners. This Arabic textbook is an intensive basic course in Arabic language for beginners student at the Oriental Institute of the University of Leipzig Germany. This book aims to study Standar and Modern Arabic Language, both written and communication. Therefore, this article will describe about the contents and systematic book comprehensively. Beside that, this book will be analyzed more in depth with the design criteria ideal textbook development through several stages such as selection, gradation, presentation and repetition. finally, through it will be known aspects of important notes and excellences as a Arabic text book for non Arab.

Arabic romanization systems consist of written symbols that have been approved by international organizations, to represent Arabic phoneme in Latin alphabet. These systems aim to enable people pronounce Arabic phoneme without depending on Arabic letters. Despite of the international recognition on these systems, there are some clashes on the symbols used to represent phoneme ‘Ayn in Arabic, as there are four different symbols to represent phoneme ‘Ayn which are (ʿ), (‘), (ʕ) and (3). Therefore, this study aims to identify the suitable symbol for Arabic phoneme ‘Ayn in Roman writing system based on Arabic for International Communication’s students’ perception, that might ease the process of teaching students at beginner level. This study applies qualitative research method, by using questionnaire to find out the most suitable symbol for phoneme ‘Ayn among the students. Results of the study shows that there are three aspects that affect students’ perception toward suitable symbol for Arabic phoneme ‘Ayn in Roman writing system. The findings suggest that the symbol used by the student for phoneme ‘Ayn in Roman writing system is (‘) whereas the most suitable symbol for phoneme ‘Ayn is (3). This study is hope to benefit Arabic language learners to overcome difficulties in writing Arabic phoneme in Roman writing system, especially phoneme ‘Ayn.

The qualitative data gathered were exposed to an analysis where transcripts were dissected and themes identified within the collected data. The themes discovered then underwent verification, confirmation and qualification by searching through the data and repeating the process to identify further themes and categories. </p>

In the process of learningnew language, language learner will experience language contact and then cause language interference. This study aims to determine (1) Forms and type of Indonesian interference found in Arabic language among class X MAN 1 Sragen; (2) factors causing language interference; and (3) solution to reduce language interference. The study used a qualitative research design. The data were collected through listening and recording method. Data were analyzed using Hubung Banding technique. The results of the study revealed that (1) language interference occurs in 214 cases contained phonological, morphological, and syntactic interference; (2) the causes of interference are bilingualism, differences on language structure between L1and L2, and lack of vocabulary; (3) solution to reduce language interference are teacher may speak Arabic pronunciation clearly, correcting learner errors immediately, doing imla’ lesson and classroom activities that help learners improve their language skill.
