The marketing strategy of brand alliance has received considerable attention in marketing literature. A significant factor in the study of how consumers process brand alliances is the concept of “fit”.  Specifically, it has been shown that consumers evaluate the extent to which the brands and products in a brand alliance are congruent. While the concept of fit has been addressed in brand alliance research, little is known about what fit really is.  This paper seeks to establish the processes by which consumers make evaluations of both product and brand fit.  Based on a review of the relevant literature, it is proposed that consumers use higher-order categorization processes in evaluating brand alliances. A 2 x 2 experiment was conducted to test multiple hypotheses. Results confirm these hypotheses and confirm that consumers do indeed conduct a higher-order category search as they evaluate brand alliances. Based on this work, an entire field of research can now be applied to the study of this promotional strategy.  While various studies in the recent past have examined factors affecting the processing of brand alliances, there remains a great deal to be learned about how brand alliance information is processed and what factors affect both cognitive and evaluative outcomes.  Applications of categorization theories open new avenues in the study of this area of consumer research.

PurposeThis study examines the effects of congruence and reliability on cause-brand alliance (CBA) program attitudes—exploring how CBA program attitudes and sport entity attitudes affect attitudes toward a sport-related and sport-unrelated brand in a single CBA.Design/methodology/approachAbout 240 survey participants answered questions before and after being exposed to information about the NFL Play 60 program. Consistent partial least squares structural equation modeling is utilized to test the hypotheses.FindingsResults suggest both congruence and reliability positively influence CBA program success; and both sport-related and sport-unrelated brands positively affect consumer attitudes when they participate in a CBA with a high-profile sport entity. This occurs directly through CBA program attitudes for a sport-unrelated brand and indirectly through sport entity attitudes for a sport-related brand.Originality/valueThis study extends the CBA literature in sports by showing (1) the role of reliability on CBA program attitudes, (2) the role of sport entity attitudes on other cause partner attitudes and (3) different paths for sport-related versus sport-unrelated brands that are partnered with a premium sport entity to achieve CBA program brand enhancements.

The legal foundation of a society is the basis of its existence and effective functioning. The legal consciousness occupies a special place in it. It acts as an integral part of people’s worldview, their life orientations, values and priorities. In Russia, the dynamics of the ongoing changes in the political and legal sphere is largely determined by the rethinking of the events of the recent past and the attempt by various forces of influence to comprehend the present adequately. Such close attention to the phenomenon of legal awareness is due to many changes taking place in the country and society. The consciousness of people in Russia is multipolar. Both internal and external factors influence on its formation, more often they are of a destructive nature. For example, the role of the hybrid war, which has been waged against Russia throughout its recent history and in which young people are actively involved, is great. Attempts to organize and conduct various actions with the participation of young people expose, among other things, the problems of our society, the state of legal awareness of young people involved in these events. This puts forward new tasks for working with young people, primarily students. The article reveals the concept of legal consciousness, considers its structure and types. The authors pay special attention to the сharacterization of the features of the modern legal consciousness in Russia. The article also characterizes legal socialization. Legal consciousness manifests itself in behavior. The authors rely on the results of the study on the legal behavior of young people. The presented factual material makes it possible to identify the cause-and-effect relationships between the legal consciousness and the factors affecting it. The article provides possibilities for the interested persons to use the presented theoretical and practical material in their work on the formation of the legal consciousness of modern Russian youth.

The aim of this study is to investigate the factors influencing the attraction of students’ selection of Jordanian universities. For this purpose a model has been designed to test these factors. The model is divided into seven dimensions including: university’s attributes, economic factors, Geographic factors, reference groups and marketing communication, Attraction and Selection University.Seven hypotheses were developed based on the dimensions of the study as well as the relevant literature to achieve this aim, the researchers used a convenience sampling technique. A total of (321) respondents completed the research questionnaire, which distributed in (6) private universities which located in Amman. The distributed questionnaire consists of (35) questions that measured using a 5 points liker scale. The collected data were analyzed by using spas for descriptive statistic and amours analysis to assess the structural and measurement model for the proposed study model. The findings indicated that is an impact of all factors on the attraction of students for selection universities. Also, the findings showed the complementary partial role of attraction between the study factors and students' selection for universities.

Improving the quality in order to keep up with the trend in the world is the vital task of training institutions today. Training institutions need to grasp market needs and satisfy the requirements of customers - learners. Nadiri, H., Kandampully, J & Hussain, K. (2009) argue that the managers in education need to apply market strategies that are being used by manufacturing and business enterprises and need to be aware that the role of training institutions is a service industry which is responsible for satisfying learner needs (Elliott & Shin, 2002). Currently, there have been many researches on students’ satisfaction. However, each research has its own objectives and is conducted on different scales. This study is implemented to provide information about the factors affecting master students’ satisfaction with the training service at VNU School of Interdisciplinary Studies (VNU SIS). Through it, the research offers a number of solutions to improving the satisfaction level of the master students at VNU SIS in the coming time.

The presented study determines the role of business aviation in the modern economy and examines the specific features of its development in Russia.Aim. The study aims to analyze the development of business aviation in Russia and its correlation with economic development in general.Tasks. The authors determine the benefits of business aviation as a business tool, examine the specific features of the Russian business aviation market and problems of its development, and identify factors that affect the development of business aviation in Russia.Methods. This study uses the methods of comparative and retrospective analysis, cross-country comparison, systems approach, and expert analytics.Results. Business aviation is a new segment of civil aviation for Russia. Therefore, it is advisable to rely on foreign practices in the management of its development. In many countries, business aviation is a separate industry that specializes in providing transport services to a wide range of corporate clients and/or individuals. The development of this industry is associated with the economic growth rate and the development level of the national economy, and also depends on the national institutional specifics. This study describes the specific features of development of business aviation in Russia and problems arising in the organization and management of this type of business.Conclusions. The authors develop a system of factors affecting the development of business aviation in Russia, describe the major problems of this industry, and propose solutions. The results of this study can be used in the development (adjustment) of business aviation development strategies in Russia both at the industrial and corporate level, and in the implementation of the national policy in this field.

Annotation Purpose. Development of a program and methods for conducting experimental studies of the extrusion process with the definition of parameters and modes of operation of the extruder to improve its energy performance. Methods. Methods of mathematical statistics, synthesis, analysis, description and modeling were used. Results. The application of mathematical methods, in particular mathematical planning, reduces the number of experiments several times, and allows to evaluate the role of influencing factors, obtain a mathematical model of the process and determine the optimal conditions for its parameters and modes, etc. Conclusions. The methodology for experimental studies of a screw extruder is presented with the necessary equipment and methodology for processing the obtained experimental data. A mathematical method of planning, which reduces the number of experiments several times, allows us to evaluate the role of factors affecting productivity and energy intensity is presented. Keywords: extruder, auger, nutrients, research methodology, extrusion, processing, feed.
