When the Covid-19 virus entered Indonesian territory, the Indonesian government immediately followed up on the case by changing the education system in Indonesia into distance learning or commonly called BDR. The research methodology used is literature study as material to review seven to ten relevant studies regarding positive parenting patterns of parents while studying from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents are expected to provide positive parenting, which is expected to be better to assist in the smooth learning of children at home during the Covid-19 pandemic, which is very important. Are the results such as assisting children in doing school assignments, supporting and facilitating children in learning, supporting and facilitating children in learning, establishing good communication between families, choosing the right parenting style, and respecting children's opinions, making rules at home. The role of parents is very influential in assisting children to learn from home.

<p>The religious character building is very important for the child and must be done starting from the family environment. The family has a responsibility in educating children, especially religious education. Religious education provided by parents will be the basis for children to behave in accordance with religious teachings. A positive parenting style will have an impact on the formation of the child's religious character, especially the democratic style of parenting, in which the parent gives responsible freedom to the child. At present, education in the family is a surefire strategy to continue to provide education rights to early childhood. The role of parents is now tested by the covid-19 pandemic that is sweeping the country. Many things must also be considered in providing education in the family, namely health factors, children’s eating and drinking needs, and also related to psychological, early childhood comfort when studying or playing at home. Through a descriptive study approach with ten parents with a master’s education background and academics as respondents through digital questionnaires and interviews with the Google form application. The results of the questionnaire and interviews were analyzed by means of descriptive analysis. It was found that: (1) Only three out of ten parents can adjust to the role of educators for their own children and able to create comfort when providing learning to children at home; (2) Three out of ten parents are able to establish good communication with teachers during educational activities from home; (3) ten parents expressed their concern with the existing conditions and agreed that the role of teachers was not easy o live. Keywords  : education in the family; parenting

The Covid-19 phenomenon around the world is getting worse day by day. The covid 19 pandemic has put the world's economy in uncertainty. However, not only in the economic sector, one of the effects of this pandemic is also being felt in the education sector. Students and school have been sent home and closed. Therefore, learning must be done at home. Teachers are confused about finding the right learning method for students, then they have to ask parents for help in learning. A new problem resurfaced. Parents struggle to manage work and childcare. Moreover, Islamic Education, which must be really ascertained whether you already understand or not will have a big impact in the future. This study aims to see how the role of parents in accompanying children in learning Islam at home. Qualitative research methodology using exploratory study case method. In this study, respondents were 8 parents of students in various schools in Banyuasin. Interviews were conducted semi-structured with a list of questions compiled for interviews developed based on related literature. Respondents were selected using a purposive method. The results of this study are that there are several impacts or safety as parents and students in online teaching and learning activities and the application of face-to-face learning zoning in schools are ineffectiveness in the learning process, especially regarding the implementation of practices in Islamic education, lack of using technology and additional work for parents. in accompanying children and the limited knowledge of parents in Islamic Education.

The occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic around the world has resulted in changes in various lives, including in the field of education. The government policy requiring studying from home, working from home and praying at home in the first week felt very sudden. And make the confusion of parents and teachers compounded by the lack of preparation for distance learning. As learning materials at home, assignments from student books are given. During this pandemic, more children will be at home, this is an effort made to break the chain of the spread of Covid, which has not yet subsided, even continues to grow. For the effectiveness of learning at this time the role of parents is very important, because the responsibility for education that is usually held by teachers while in school now completely shifts to both parents.Parents must accompany their children more in learning, be more attentive during learning, because when children are given freedom during unsupervised learning, not a few children take the opportunity to play online games, surf in cyberspace such as playing Facebook, Instagram, and other interesting applications, because in the learning process children are facilitated with cellphones plus a quota package that makes it easy to access whatever they want. This study aims to determine what the roles of parents are in accompanying children during the distance learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic at Ciparigi Village, Bogor City. The method used is a case study through online interviews with thematic analysis on 5 parents. The results show that the role of parents is needed in the distance learning process. In general, the role of parents during distance learning, in addition to being a substitute for teachers at home, parents also act as facilitators, motivators, guides for children, and guide children to achieve success of learning in pandemic.

The Covid 19 pandemic led to the issuance of learn from home rules for school children and work  from home for teachers, including those who work in PAUD institutions. The current situation demands maximum parental involvement and restores the nature of children's education in the family. This article will discuss the role of parents in accompanying children at home during a pandemic. The method used is the literature study method with data collection using documentation from theoretical studies obtained from books and journals. Since the Covid 19 pandemic, children's education has been carried out remotely. Learning carried out at home makes the role of parents very important. During the Covid-19 pandemic, parents not only functioned as the first and foremost place for children's education in shaping character, religious values and character but now have an additional role as second teacher for children in learning at home. Accompanying children when learning is something that is very important for children, namely to build closeness between parents and children. As for the important role of parents in accompanying children, namely children feel not alone, parents as encouragement, facilitate children's needs, a place to discuss and ask questions, help identify.

This article aims to find out what parents role while accompanying children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is a case study through filling out a questionnaire. The results showed that in general, the role of parents was as a guide, educator, carer, developer and supervisor. In particular, the roles that arise are: maintaining and ensuring children to continue learning even though it is done online, assisting children in doing school work, doing joint activities while at home, creating a comfortable environment for children, establishing intense communication with children, guiding and motivating children, provide education. Guidance is needed for parents to help support children's needs-based activities during the pandemic. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja peran orang tua selama mendampingi anak belajar di masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus melalui pengisian kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum peran orangtua adalah sebagai pembimbing, pendidik, penjaga, pengembang dan pengawas. Secara khusus peran yang muncul yaitu: menjaga dan memastikan anak untuk tetap belajar di rumah meskipun dilakukan secara online, mendampingi anak dalam mengerjakan tugas sekolah, melakukan kegiatan bersama selama di rumah, menciptakan lingkungan yang nyaman untuk anak, menjalin komunikasi dengan anak, membimbing dan memotivasi anak, memberikan edukasi. Diperlukan panduan bagi orang tua dalam membantu mendampingi kegiatan anak yang berbasis pada kebutuhan anak selama pandemi.

Selama masa pandemi COVID-19 anak sekolah dianjurkan untuk belajar di rumah. Ada banyak hal yang harus diajarkan kepada anak selama belajar di rumah, salah satunya sains. Sains sangat penting untuk diajarkan. Pengalaman sains yang menarik memungkinkan untuk pengembangan pemikiran ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pentingnya pengajaran sains sejak dini serta peran orangtua dalam pengajaran sains selama di rumah, dan juga aktivitas apa yang dapat dilakukan anak untuk mempelajari sains selama di rumah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dimana data diperoleh berdasarkan hasil studi pustaka. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran orangtua sangat penting selama kegiatan belajar di rumah. Rumah adalah tempat yang tepat bagi Anda untuk mulai mendalami sains bersama anak. Ada banyak kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengajarkan sains kepada anak, seperti menanyakan berbagai pertanyaan berhubungan dengan sains dan melatih keterampilan tangan. Anak-anak belajar dengan melakukan, dengan mencoba ide-ide baru dan menantang ide-ide lama. Ini tidak hanya terjadi di sekolah. Orangtua dapat membantu anak Anda belajar dengan memberinya pengalaman belajar yang aman dan menarik dalam suasana yang mendukung. Kegiatan berikut dirancang untuk digunakan bersama anak di rumah dan di komunitas.   Kata kunci: Pandemi COVID-19, Pembelajaran Sains, Belajar Dari Rumah            Abstract During the COVID-19 pandemic, school children are encouraged to study at home. There are many things that must be taught to children while studying at home, one of which is science. Science is very important to teach. An interesting science experience allows for the development of scientific thinking. This study aims to determine the importance of teaching science from an early age and the role of parents in teaching science at home, as well as what activities children can do to learn science while at home. This research was a qualitative research where data was obtained based on the results of literature studies. The result showed that the role of parents was very important during learning activities at home. Home is the right place for you to start exploring science with children. There are many activities that could be done in teaching science to children, such as asking questions related to science and practicing hand skills. Children learn by doing, by trying new ideas and challenging old ones. This did not just happen at school. Parents could help their children learn by providing him with a safe and engaging learning experience in a supportive setting. The following activities were designed for use with children at home and in the community.

The development of technological advances in the digital era brings very significant changes in all aspects of life. In this digital era, educational problems become very diverse with the increasing family responsibilities. To deal with these developments, the expertise of parents and educators is needed to implement the right solutions to all these problems and also the ability to adapt to environmental changes. This study examines in depth digital literacy for millennial families in educating children in the digital era. Digital literacy skills are needed by teachers and parents in educating children so that they can play various roles as educators in this digital era. This research uses library research method. Data collection in this study was carried out by elaborating various kinds of literature in the form of books, journals, e-books and literature relevant to digital literacy problems in millennial families in the digital era. The data analysis technique uses content analysis methods from journals and other documents that are accessed via the internet. The results show that in this digital era the role of parents is needed so as not to be left behind. In this era, there is a need for a new reorientation of learning because it is considered to affect vision, responsibility, social sensitivity and logical ability, as well as honesty. All of this leads to a reorientation of the new role of parents, namely as agents of change, knowledge renewal, and learning consultants that emphasize creativity, initiative, good communication and cooperation between parents, schools and communities.

<p><em>The role of parents during the pandemic is needed in building of children's character at home. Character education in online learning can be doing by implementing the three slogans of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, namely, ing ngarso sung tulodo, ing madyo mangunkarso, and tut wuri handayani. Ing ngarso sung tulodo is the role of parents that can being an example for their children, ing madyo mangunkarso is the role of parents in providing enthusiasm for their children in learning at home, and tut wuri handayani is the role of parents in encouraging children in learning process. The pattern of character education by applying that three slogans is also harmonized which the teachings in Hindu religious literature. By using the literature study method, this paper uses references from various sources, namely journals, books, Hindu literary works, and the internet. By a literature study was found that Hindu literature sources have taught parents in educating children, from an early age to adulthood. Based on the Hindu literature, can be harmonized through the three slogans of Ki Hadjar Dewantara during online learning at home in bulding the character during the pandemic.</em></p>
