This research aims to analyze and empirically prove the direct influence of work motivation and work environment on the employee performance, and the indirect influence of work motivation and work environment on the employee performance through work satisfaction and work discipline in PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop IX Jember. This is an explanatory research applying the proportionate sampling method. The population was all 163 employees of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop IX Jember. The sample of every sub-population was determined by dividing the sub-population with the number of population member multiplied by the member size of the sample that resulting in the total sample of 118 respondents.  Data were collected from the questionnaire distribution and analyzed by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using IBM SPSS AMOS 20 software. Results of the study proved that all hypothesis were accepted meaning that motivation influences performance directly and indirectly through work satisfaction, and work environment influences performance directly and indirectly through work discipline. This study aimed to determine the effect of work environment, training, and competence on work satisfaction in improving employee performance. The object in this study is PT. Asaputex Jaya, located in Tegal City, engaged in woven sarong’s trading business with the Korma Tree brand. The sample used in this study was determined by a simple random sampling method, obtaining 105 respondents. The data in this study were obtained through a questionnaire that was filled out independently. The analysis used in this study uses the analysis method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This study proves and concludes that: work environment and work training have a significant positive effect on work satisfaction. However, competence does not affect work satisfaction. Besides, the work environment negatively affects employee performance, and work training does not affect employee performance. Also, competence and work satisfaction have a significant positive effect on employee performance. Further research must develop more varied models to provide different research findings, such as adding work stress variables, work motivation, work discipline, and others.

Work motivation is an influential condition for arousing, directing, and maintaining behavior related to the work environment including nurse work motivation. The purpose of this study was to edit the Nurses' Work Motivation in the Inpatient Room of Majalaya Regional Hospital. This type of research uses analytic survey methods. The sampling method uses a total sampling technique with a total sample of 55 nurses in 6 inpatients. Data collection techniques using a work motivation questionnaire. The analysis used is univariate. The results of the study 28 people (50.9%) have high work motivation. The conclusion of the results of this study some nurses have work motivation of nurses in the inpatient room of Majalaya Regional Hospital. Based on the results of the study are expected to require motivation support to increase work motivation of nurses.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to examine the effect of work motivation and work environment on employee performance. The method used in research with a questionnaire. The sample of the study may be 50 respondents. Statistical tests were performed using PLS-based Structural Equation Modeling. The validity test uses the loading factor value, while the reliability uses the Cronbach's alpha value, composite reliability and Average Variance Extracted (AVE). The conclusion of this study is the influence of work motivation and work environment on employee performance. Performance is the work result in quality and quantity that can be achieved by an employee in carrying out the task in accordance with the given responsibility. In order for employee performance to be consistent, it is necessary to identify the factors that influence performance, including work motivation, work discipline and work environment.Keywords: Work Motivation, Work Discipline, Work Environment, Employee PerformanceABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh motivasi disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Agar kinerja karyawan selalu konsisten maka harus mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja antara lain adalah motivasi kerja, disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja.Kata Kunci : Motivasi Kerja, Disiplin Kerja, Lingkungan Kerja, Kinerja Karyawan

Analytical technique used in testing the hypothesis is by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) Method using Lisrel 8.80 software. A survey questionnaire was developed and validated. A total 124 questionnaire were distributed to Insurance’s agent</em><em> PT. Askrindo Mitra Utama</em><em> in Jakarta</em><em> and 124 valid responses collected. The result from this study indicates that Leadership Style, Work Environment, Organizational Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction; Leadership Style, and Organizational Motivation have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance; but Work Environment does not have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance; and there is a mediating effect of Job Satisfaction that can increase the influence of Leadership Style, Work Environment, and Organizational Motivation on Employee Performance.</em></p>

<em>This study aims to analyze the effect of competence and work environment on employee performance at PT. Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk. This is a quantitative descriptive study using primary data by giving questionnaires to employees of PT. Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk, located in the Pulo Gadung Industrial Estate, Jakarta, discussed on Jl. Goat Island II Kav.I-II.No.33. From a population of 1,500 employees, a total sample of 94 respondents was obtained using the Slovin formula. The technique used to take samples is the random sampling method and the type of data used is heterogeneous. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results show there is a positive and significant effect simultaneously between competence and work environment on employee performance. Partially, competence has a significant influence on employee performance, as well as work environment variables.</em>

<p><em>The decline in employee performance at UP PTSP Makasar District is characterized by a decreased level of service time efficiency in the area of KRK and IMB licensing. In addition, the cause of the decline in employee performance is due to the behavior of employees who like to postpone work and come late to work intentionally, and also employees lack the determination of high morale at work. The achievement of the duties of UP PTSP employees in Makasar Sub-District was not in accordance with the determined time standard. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the work environment and workload on the performance of UP PTSP Makasar District employees and to know the factors that had to be prioritized to become better. The data used for research is questionnaire data which is processed by the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. This study analyzes the factors of work environment and workload using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS applications. Based on SEM output regression weights value states that there is no significant effect between work environment on employee performance. While there is a significant effect between workload on employee performance. The main priority in improving employee performance through the work environment is cleanliness in the workplace. The main priority in improving employee performance through better workloads is with work conditions at the workplace.</em></p>

This study aims to determine whether work motivation, work environment, and work stress affect the performance of employees of UMKM Arumanis Haji Ardi. The population in this study used all employees at UMKM Arumanis Haji Ardi, totaling 80 employees. The sampling method is a non-probability sample with a purposive sampling technique using the Slovin formula, data collection is done through a questionnaire and get the results of 64 respondents as a sample. The results in this study indicate that; (1) Work motivation has no partial effect on employee performance, (2) Work Environment has a partial effect on employee performance, (3) Work Stress has a partial effect on employee performance, (4) Work Motivation, Work Environment, and Work Stress have an effect simultaneously.

This study aims to determine the effect of the effectiveness of accounting information systems on employees’ performance with incentives and work motivation as moderators in Denpasar LPD. The population of this study was employees at the 35 LPDs in Denpasar. The sample was determined by using a purposive sampling method with a total sample of 99 people. The methods of data collection were done by using questionnaire method and simple linear regression data analysis techniques and moderation regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis found that the effectiveness of accounting information systems have positive effects on employees’ performance such as incentives weaken the effectiveness of accounting information systems on employee performance and work motivation reinforces the effectiveness of accounting information systems on employee performance in Denpasar LPD. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work motivation on employee performance, the effect of compensation on employee performance, and the influence of the work environment on employee performance. This research is classified into quantitative research in the form of associative causality. The population in this study were 86 employees using a simple random sampling method so that as many as 71 employees were used as samples. The analysis technique used is Multiple Regression Analysis. The results obtained that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of trust towards the leader, mutation, and organizational culture on work motivation and employee performance at Regional Revenue Board of Jember Regency. This is an explanatory research with the sample consists of 150 employees of Regional Revenue Board of Jember Regency. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Results show that trust towards the leader, mutation, and organizational culture have significant effects on work motivation; mutation and work motivation have significant effects on employee performance. However, trust towards the leader and organizational culture have no significant effects on the employee performance at Regional Revenue Board of Jember Regency.
