Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi hukum Archimedes dan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran POGIL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi hukum Archimedes. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasy exsperiment dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Singkawang. Teknik pengambilan sampel berupa teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berjumlah 10 soal dalam bentuk pilihan ganda beralasan yang telah diuji validitasnya. Hasil data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji N-gain dan uji statistik. Hasil peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,60 dalam kategori sedang dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,22 dalam kategori rendah. Sehingga data yang diperoleh berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Dari hasil perhitungan uji t dua sampel tidak berkorelasi didapatkan nilai t hitung > t tabel yaitu 6,797 > 2,045, maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak pada taraf signifikansi a = 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran POGIL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi hukum Archimedes.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning berbantuan Mind Mapping dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas V SD Negeri Gugus Kapten Japa Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan Quasi Experiment (eksperimen semu). Bentuk rancangan yang di gunakan adalah Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Kapten Japa terdiri dari 13 kelas dengan total sebanyak 456 orang menjadi populasi. Kelas VA SD Negeri 17 dauh Puri sebanyak 40 orang siswa dan kelas V SD Negeri 4 Dauh Puri sebanyak 35 orang siswa terpilih sebagai sampel. Setelah semua populasi dinyatakan setara melalui uji beda mean (t-test), maka pengambilan sampel dengan cara pengundian secara acak bisa dilakukan. Dalam proses pengumpulan data, pemilihan metode tes digunakan sebagai instrument yang berbentuk tes pilihan ganda dengan jumlah soal valid sebanyak 40 butir. Uji-t digunakan dalam analisis data penelitian ini dengan teknik analisis inferensial.  Perolehan yang didapat melalui uji beda mean (t-test) yakni thitung = 8.08. Harga tersebut kemudian dibandingkan dengan harga ttabel dengan dk = 40 + 35 – 2 = 73 dan taraf signifikansi 5% sehingga diperoleh harga ttabel = 1,99, karena thitung > ttabel   (8.08 > 1,99) maka Ho ditolak. Hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning berbantuan Mind Mapping dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas V SDN Gugus Kapten Japa.

This research is motivated by the importance of developing students’s adversity quotient (AQ). This research examines the difference of students’s AQ in Guided Inquiry learning with Concrete-Representational-Abstract approach (ITCRA) and students’s AQ in conventional learning. This research is quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The population is students which grade eighth in SMPN 1 Padang Panjang, and the samples is selected two classes from seven existing classes. Instruments used to collect data is scale of adversity quotient dan intervies guidelines. Data obtained were analyzed using mean difference t-test. The results show that there are differences of student’s AQ getting ITCRA learning and student’s AQ getting conventional learning.Keywords: Guided Inquiry, Concrete-Representational-Abstract, Adversity Quotient

AbstractThis study aims to examine the effect of the application of the Jurisprudential Inquiry learning model to students' ability to argue. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with the Quasi Experiment method with The Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The study population was all grade X students in SMA Dua May. The sample was students of class X IPS 1 and X IPS 2, each of which numbered 32, the samples were taken by purposive sampling. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential statistics using the independent sample t-test. Based on the results of data analysis, there are significant differences in the ability to argue between groups of students who learn to use the Jurisprudential Inquiry Learning Model and groups of students who learn by using the Conventional Learning Model. Where is t-count> t-table (10,639> 1,697). Jurisprudential Inquiry learning model influences 23.14% in the experimental class on the ability to argue students. Thus the Jurisprudential Inquiry learning model has a positive effect on students' ability to argue. Keywords: Learning Model, Jurisprudential Inquiry, Ability to Argue. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran yuriprudensi inquiry terhadap kemampuan berargumentasi peserta didik. Metode metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Eksperimen. Desain quasi eksperimen adalah The Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X di SMA Dua Mei. Sampelnya adalah peserta didik kelas X IPS 1 dan X IPS 2 yang masing-masing berjumlah 32, sampel diambil dengan cara purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan statistic inferensial menggunakan uji-t independent sample test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berargumentasi yang signifikan antara kelompok peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran yurisprudensi inquiry dengan kelompok peserta didik yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dimana thitung > t-tabel (10.639 > 1,697). Model pembelajaran yurisprudensi inquiry berpengaruh sebesar 23,14 % pada kelas eksperimen terhadap kemampuan berargumentasi peserta didik. Dengan demikian maka model pembelaran yurisprudensi inquiry berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berargumentasi peserta didik.

Abstract This research was conducted based on the fact that there was a lack in student’s mathematical connection ability. The aim of this research was to examine the enhancement of student’s mathematical connection ability by Alberta model inquiry learning. This research used nonequivalent control group design. Population of this research was all engineering faculty UNA, and the samples were two classes selected by using purposive sampling technique, in which they were used as an experimental class and control class. The experimental class was treated by Alberta Model inquiry learning and control class by conventional learning. Instruments used in this research were mathematics connection ability test and observation sheet. Results showed that student’s mathematical connection ability enhancement in students received Alberta model inquiry learning was better than students who received conventional learning. Keywords: Inquiry Learning of Alberta Model, Mathematical Connection Ability

This research is aimed at determining the effect of POGIL model teaching on the understanding of Natural Science Concept, Skill of Sciences Process, and Critical Thinking Capability of student in photosynthesis. This research is a experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The sample were selected randomly and the hypothesis was analized with Manova and t-test. The rsearch concludes that (1) there an effect of POGIL model teaching in understanding Natural Sciences concept (2) there an effect of POGIL model teaching on Skill of Sciences Process (3) there an effect of POGIL model teaching on the capability of critical thinking (4) there is simultaneous effect of the application of POGIL model teaching on the Natural Sciences concept, Skill of Sciences Process and in the capability of critical thinking.Keywords: POGIL, understanding Natural Sciences concept, Skill of Sciences Process and the capability of critical thinking

This study aims to determine the effect of the Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) model on the students’ concept mastery in SMAN 6 Mataram, subject matter of harmonious vibration. This study is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population was all students of class X MIA at SMAN 6 Mataram in the 2018/2019 academic year totaling 172 students, with purposive sampling technique obtained by class X MIA 1 as an experimental class and class X MIA 3 as a control class. The concept mastery test instrument uses multiple choice questions totaling 25 items. The concept mastery data obtained were analyzed using t-test with a significance level (α) of 5%. Hypothesis test results indicate that the t-count is greater than t-table, that is 2.482 is greater than 2.020, so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, there is an effect of the Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) model on students' concept mastery.

The purpose of research was to determine the problem solving skill of basic chemical laws at tenth-grade senior high school of  through the application of guided inquiry learning models. The ability is known through a three tier multiple choice diagnostic test. This research was an experimental quasi with pretest-posttest control group design. The  sample consisted of 107 students consisting of 56 experimental class  and 51 control class. Based on the results of the calculation of the F test that F count> F table (10.72> 3.93) with α = 0.05. This means that there was an influence of the application of the guided inquiry learning model to students' ability to solve problems in the basic laws of chemistry. 70.71% of students in the experimental class can understand the problem, plan the solution, carry out the solution, and re-examine the results of the problem solving. Meanwhile, control class students were unable to solve very high problems, namely 24.5% students..

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan penguasaan konsep biologi dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X pada penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dan model pembelajaran guided inquiry di MAN 1 Praya tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Desain penelitian ini adalah pre-test and post-test non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X MAN 1 Praya tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 247siswa. Pengambilan  sampel  dilakukan  dengan   Purposive Sampling sehingga didapatkan kelas X MIPA-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas X MIPA-4 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data yaitu tes penguasaan konsep berupa soal pilihan ganda dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berupa soal essay. Data hasil tes penguasaan konsep biologi dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dianalisis menggunakan uji-t pada taraf  kepercayaan  95 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan penguasaan konsep biologi dan  kemampuan berpikir kritis  siswa  kelas  X  pada  penerapan  model  pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation  dan model pembelajaran guided inquiry di MAN 1 Praya tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

KORELASI MODEL INKUIRI TERBIMBING BERPENDEKATAN SETS TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA AbstractCritical thinking skills in chemistry subject is still low. Teacher-centered learning is one of the causes of low critical thinking skills. The objective of this study was to investigate the correlation of guided inquiry learning model with the Science, Environment, Technology and Society (SETS) approach on students’ critical thinking skills at chemical equilibrium material. The research method was Quasi Experiment with Nonequivalent Control Group Design, and the samples were taken using purposive sampling. The samples consisted of 36 students in the control and the experimental classes. The research instrument consisted of 12-item essay test which represented 11 indicators of critical thinking skill. Data analysis was performed using the Independent Sample T-test through SPSS 22 version. The results of hypothesis testing showed a correlation of the use of guided inquiry model with SETS approach on students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class with sig values <0.05. The percentage result of the posttest data showed an increase in critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class. The conclusion of this study is that the use of guided inquiry model with SETS approach can improve students' critical thinking skills. The highest critical thinking skills indicator in the experimental class is inducing and judging inductions, while the lowest indicator is observing and judging observation reports.AbstrakKeterampilan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran kimia masih rendah. Pembelajaran yang berpusat pada  guru adalah salah satu penyebab rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui korelasi model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berpendekatan Science, Environment, Technology, dan Society (SETS) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi kesetimbangan kimia. Metode penelitian adalah Quasi Experiment dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design, dan teknik yaitu purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian sebanyak masing-masing 36 orang pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes esai sebanyak 12 butir soal yang mewakili 11 indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis. Analisis data menggunakan Independent Sample T-test melalui SPSS versi 22. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan adanya korelasi penggunaan model inkuiri terbimbing berpendekatan SETS terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen dengan nilai sig. < 0,05. Hasil persentase data posttest menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa penggunaan model inkuiri terbimbing berpendekatan SETS mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis tertinggi di kelas eksperimen adalah membuat induksi dan mempertimbangkan hasil induksi dan indikator terendah adalah mengobservasi dan mempertimbangkan hasil observasi.

Pembelajaran dalam praktik klinik merupakan komponen penting dalam pendidikan keperawatan mengingat keperawatan merupakan profesi berbasis praktik. Pembelajaran praktik klinik oleh mahasiswa keperawatan memerlukan adanya pengembangan metode yang dapat mempersiapkan mahasiswa untuk dapat mengasah keterampilannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas modul basic airway management berbasis guided inquiry learning model terhadap keterampilan mahasiswa keperawatan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan quasi experimental dalam bentuk nonequivalent pretes-postest group design. 50 responden dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling, 25 responden pada kelompok eksperimen, sedangkan 25 responden pada kelompok kontrol. Keterampilan sebelum perlakuan pada kelompok kontrol dinyatakan lulus sebanyak 3 responden (12%) dan kelompok intervensi sebanyak 6 responden (24%). Keterampilan setelah dilakukan perlakuan pada kelompok kontrol dinyatakan lulus sebanyak 11 responden (44%) dan kelompok intervensi sebanyak 15 responden (66%). Data dalam penelitian dianalisis dengan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil uji menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 dimana hasil ini menyatakan bahwa Modul Berbasis Guided Inquiry Learning Model cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa. Learning in clinical practice is an important component in nursing education considering that it is a practice-based profession. Learning clinical practice by students requires the development of methods that can prepare students to hone their skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the basic airway management module based on the guided inquiry learning model on the skills of students. This study was a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental form of nonequivalent pretest-posttest group design. 50 respondents were selected by purposive sampling technique, 25 respondents were in the experimental group, while 25 respondents were in the control group. Before receiving the treatments, 3 respondents (12%) in the control group and 6 respondents (24%) were passed the skills. After receiving the treatment, as many as 11 respondents (44%) in the control group and 15 respondents (66%) the intervention group could pass the skills. The data in the study were analyzed by the Mann-Whitney test. The test results showed the value of p = 0.000 which stated that the Guided Inquiry Learning Model-Based Module is quite effective for improving student skills.
