The data were analyzed by frequency distribution, F-test, multiple regression and R2 for the determinant analysis unit. Results:The study identified that 78.1% of the participants were female with age of 20 to 24 years old, 68.2 % were come from Yogyakarta, 96,9% had academic grade with range of 3 to 3.99. The ranges of passing grades of exam scores were 67% to 98 %, and 89% the institutions were able to achieve passing grade more than 75%. There were some significant correlations between learning strategic with mental preparation (p=0.12), the readiness of the manager (p=0.00), the place that the test was delivered (p=0.00) and the learning strategic was the most determinant predictor in success of the exam. Conclusions: A good learning strategic was the dominant factor for success of national competency and mental preparation, the readiness of the manager, the place where the test was delivered were correlated with the success of the exam.

This competence test is same as national examination UN that we have done when we are in senior high school. The implementation of competence test was felt as accruing load especially for nurse profession student, it’s because in previous time there was not competence test. In this case, “Majelis Tenaga Kesehatan Indonesia” (MTKI) decided that new graduation must have competence test. The implementation of competence test becomes a notice because nurse profession students who failed in this test they will unregister as a candidate of nurse in Indonesia, so that, the obligation must have competence test for nursing students caused some phenomena like afraid, strained, worried and downtrodden. The Research method that the researcher used was correlational quantitative and cross-sectional approach as the observation’s method, variable try out, IPK, learning style and Indonesian nursing competency test passing grade. The population in this research was 145 students and the sample chosen 59 students. This research used random sampling technique. The instrument to collect data were documentation and questioner, analyze data used Fisher’s Exact Test with 0,05. The result of the study showed that p=0.000 because p<a so that Ho is rejected, Thus it can be concluded that there are correlations between try out, IPK, learning style and Indonesian nursing competency test passing grade. For further researchers, I hope that can do continued study about other factors that influence Indonesian nursing competency test passing grade, so that next researcher can find the right solution to solve high value of failed problems in Indonesian nursing competency test passing grade. Keywords: Try Out, IPK, Learning Style and Indonesian Nursing Competency Test Passing Grade.

A gender was found significant with pretest knowledge, and other variables weren't found significant (P=0.05). Knowledge mean & standard deviation in pre & post-intervention, 11.90±2.16 vs15.82±1.39. The mean difference was found in a pre-test & post-test-1 &post-test-2, 3.9, 5.02, & 1.1, respectively. The effectiveness of the training program was checked by paired t-test -10.20 & -13.93, P=0.00.  The study revealed that the teaching session was efficient in the COVID-19 program among BSc nursing students.

Professional nurses could be prepared through professional nursing programs. Professional nursing program is part of the nursing education program. One of the competencies required to be professional nurses is implementing evidence-based practice (EBP) to explore the best nursing interventions for patients to get optimal outcome. Nursing students have learned EBP during bachelor degree by analysis case using the EBP method. However, evaluation related  students' understanding of the method and its application of EBP to the clinical practice was none. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge with student competency in the implementation of evidence based practice (EBP) to managed patients in the medical surgical nursing stage. This research is quantitative research. The sample in this study was 120 nursing students who were at professional nursing program that were recruited using total sampling technique. The instrument used is the Evidence Based Practice Questionnaire (EBPQ) questionnaire. The results showed that more than half of the respondents had high knowledge (68%), and high competence (49%). This study shows a meaningful relationship between knowledge of student competence in applying EBP (r = .6070, p <0.01). The findings of this study are important for recommendations related to developing teaching materials in nursing education related to for providing the best service for patients.
