This study aims to determine the work spirit of lecture in Hulu Sungai Tengah. This study includes a quantitative descriptive research. Quantitative descriptive approach involves collecting data to answer several research questions related to the status of the study subjects were examined and denoted by using numbers. The data examined in this study is a tutor at Hulu Sungai Tengah, amounting to 30 tutors. Based on this research, work spirit of  lecture in Hulu Sungai Tengah.  In generally fall into either category, it can be evidenced by ownership category of each aspect. This is supported by advanced data, which is an average score for each aspect of the data is higher than the average edial. Most aspects contribute to the formation of tutors work spirit is a commitment (93%) and interest (70%) who claimed to have a high commitment and interest. Aspects of motivation is the most minor aspect in the formation work spirit of lectures in Hulu Sungai Tengah that only 37% had high motivation.Key words: Work spirit, and lecture

The purpose of this research is to describe the level of mastery of professional, pedagogical, personal and social competency of PPKn college student who carry out an internship program III at SMKN 2 & 3 Salatiga. This type of research is descriptive research. Data collection techniques using document studies, interviews, and observations. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive techniques. The research subjects were 7 college student of PPKn Internship III Participants. The results showed the level of mastery of pedagogical and professional competencies of PPKn college student as apprentice III participants who were shown the ability to compile lesson plans, implement lesson plans in class categories in both good and very good categories, with an average score of 3.02 to 3.97. The mastery of 7 competency indicators was assessed, 4 college student were rated very well with an average score of 4, and 3 college student on indicators 4 and 7 were rated well with a score of 3, the average was also 3.71 the category was very good. 5 indicators of social competency were assessed, 4 college student rated very good, the average score of 4 and 3 college student on indicators 3 and 4 were rated as good with a score of 3, the average was 3.80, the category was very good. The results of the study can be concluded mastery of teacher competency, college student who carry out an internship program III on average are very good at carrying out tasks as a prospective professional teacher.

A proposal is outlined to provide a quantitative descriptive research frame for analyzing the organization of spontaneous behavior in autistic children within and across natural settings such as home, school, daycare centre, and playground. A number of research questions are formulated and appropriate analyses are suggested. In particular the project aimed to detect periodicities in behavior, guided probably by “clock-like” processes as have been found in the field of biological rhythms. A database has to be created by observing and notating a sufficient number of samples of behavior drawn from various settings in which the autistic children happen to live. Contrived settings may also be used;

This study aim to describe the student’s mathematics anxiety on the use of technology in mathematics learning. It is a quantitative descriptive research by involving second year students of Mathematics Education Program  in Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) who took Technology-based Mathematics Learning course. They were selected based on saturation sampling. Data were collected through questionnaire, in-depth interview and documentation. The results show the high level of each dimension of mathematics anxiety among students. The average score in each indicator of cognitive, affective, and physiological dimension were high. In addition, interview revealed that most of the students expressed their anxiety in the first lecture and when obtained the task of applying particular software in mathematics learning. It is mainly due to unpreparedness and lack of knowledge about the application of software. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the level of students’ mathematics anxiety is relatively high.  Keywords: Mathematics anxiety, Technology-based, Mathematics learning,

ABSTRAK:Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa asing sudah menjadi tren dan kebutuhan di era saat ini. Maka,  inovasi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sangat penting dilakukan sesuai dengan level pembelajar. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah pemahaman pembelajar dalam menguasai bahasa Indonesia. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan pembelajaran terintegrasi berbasis pengenalan lintas budaya. Oleh karena itu, digagaslah media AWAN ASA. Aplikasi ini berbasis software macromedia flash sehingga mudah untuk diaplikasikan dan interaktif bagi pengguna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif persentase. Metode dan media aplikasi AWAN ASA yang dipakai dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa asing terintegrasi dengan pengenalan lintas budaya, didapati hasil keterampilan menulis siswa cukup bagus, dengan rata-rata mendapatkan nilai di kisaran 70 dan mampu menulis konjungsi dari 8-18 kata. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode dan aplikasi yang digunakan untuk mahasiswa BIPA UNESA benar-benar sesuai bagi mereka, serta metode dan media yang dipakai mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan mereka mengenai bahasa dan kebudayaan Indonesia.KATA KUNCI: Aplikasi; Bahasa Asing; Lintas Budaya;Pembelajaran. BIPA’S LEARNING WITH AWAN ASA APPLICATION BASED ON CROSS-CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING  ABSTRACT: Learning Indonesian as a foreign language has become a trend and a necessity in the current era. Thus, it is very important to make innovations in learning Indonesian based on the level of the learner. This research aims to facilitate the learner's understanding of mastering Indonesian through integrated learning based on cross-cultural introduction. Therefore, the AWAN ASA media was initiated. AWAN ASA is an Indonesian language learning application which is integrated with wayang stories as Indonesian culture. The research method used quantitative descriptive research. The method and media of the AWAN ASA application is integrated with cross-cultural introduction, which was found that the results of students' writing skills were quite good, with an average score in the range of 70 and being able to write conjunctions of 8-18 words. It means, the methods and applications used in learning language for BIPA UNESA students are really suitable for them. Therefore, the methods and media can improve understanding and their knowledge of Indonesian language and culture.KEYWORDS:Application; Cros-Cultural Understanding; Foreign Language; Learning.

The focus of this experiment is the perception of happiness among residents in the Jodipan tourism village. The basic assumption behind this experiment is that changes in the status of slum settlements in the Jodipan village which later turned into a colorful tourist villageof Jodipan are very likely to affect the level of happiness of the people who live there. This study aims to describe (a) the most influential variables in determining the level of happiness in Jodipan Village and (b) whether there is a relationship between the change in status of Kampung Jodipan (from slums to tourism villages) to the perception of happiness of the community. To test these assumptions, this study uses a quantitative-descriptive approach. The data in this study were obtained through questionnaires adjusted for indicators in measuring perceptions of happiness such as: utilization of time and life balance, speech culture and the value of religiosity, physical and mental health, and community solidarity. The data were then validated and analyzed to examine the relationship between independent variables (X), namely the status of tourist village with the dependent variable (Y), which is the perception of happiness. Furthermore, this study also aims to examine the relationship between sub-variable attitudes and sub-variables of perception of happiness as indicators.

Efforts to increase food production always receive attention because the need for rice continues to increase. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of factors forming attitudes with the attitude of farmers to the failure of production of lowland rice farming in Magepanda Village, Magepanda Subdistrict, Sikka District. The type of research used in this study is quantitative descriptive research and correlation. Quantitative is data that is measured in a numeric (number) with the aim of testing a predetermined hypothesis. The data used in this study are primary data. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the attitude of farmers towards production failure in the farm group of Desa Magepanda, using the fishbein analysis method based on six attributes obtained an average score of 85.17 which is categorized as positive. This means that the attitude of farmers in the Magepanda village farmer group accepts production failure as a motivation for the sustainability of their production activities. The results of the Analysis of Determination Coefficient (R2) are 0, 185 which means that the contribution of the variable farmer attitude (X) to production failure (Y) in the farmer group in Magepanda Village is 18.5%. while the remaining 81.5% is explained by other variables not included in this research model. The results of simple linear regression analysis can be seen that the farmer attitude variable (X) is obtained: -2,613 <- 2,042, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the attitude of farmers (X) has a significant effect on production failure (Y).

The purpose of this study is to describe students' critical thinking skills in Plant Ecology courses through inquiry learning. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research with one group pretest-posttest research design (single group design with pretest-posttest). Data collection techniques used pretest and posttest to measure students' critical thinking skills in understanding during learning. Research data on critical thinking skills from the pretest and posttest were analyzed by calculating the N-gain value. N-gain results indicate that the use of inquiry models can improve students' critical thinking skills. Students’ posttest data were analyzed descriptively to describe students' critical thinking skills through inquiry learning. The highest average score on the first indicator, which is focusing on questions,gotscore of 73.64, in the criteria of sufficient. The lowest average score is found in two indicators, namely the indicator asking and answering questions and the indicator considering whether the source is reliable or not. Both indicators got a score of 70 in the criteria of sufficient. On average all indicators of critical thinking skills of students got a score of 71.27 in the criteria of sufficient. The conclusion is that the Inquiry learning is able to improve students' critical thinking skills in the medium criteria.

Value can be defined as the work the general belief about the desirability of various aspects of employment (eg, salary, autonomy, working conditions), and work-related outcomes (eg, achievement, fulfillment, prestige). It's important to note that the value of the work did not evaluate certain aspects of the work or the result, but the underlying criteria used to perform the evaluation. This study used a non-experimental method which quantitative descriptive approach wich aims to reveal the value of labor in women who work. The research sample of 100 women who worked in the city of Malang. With a value scale work consisting of 98 items statement, found the results of the analysis of the Z-Score with the acquisition of a percentage on each level of the value of work starting from the highest rank is the dimension of the value of autonomy (Autonomy), which is as much as 28% or 28 people, followed by value of achievement (Achievement) and the principle of putting others (Altruism) which had the same percentage as much as 20%, and the next is the value of the status (Status) with a percentage of 18%, next is the value of comfort (Comfort) with a percentage of 14%, while the lower value is the value of the security (Safety ) with a percentage gain as much as 0% .Abstrak: Nilai kerja dapat didefinisikan sebagai keyakinan umum mengenai keinginan dari berbagai aspek pekerjaan (misalnya, gaji, otonomi, kondisi kerja), dan hasil yang berhubungan dengan pekerjaan (misalnya, prestasi, pemenuhan, prestise).Sangat penting untuk dicatat bahwa nilai kerja tidak mengevaluasi aspek pekerjaan tertentu atau hasil, tetapi kriteria yang mendasari yang digunakan untuk melakukan evaluasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode non eksperimental yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran nilai kerja pada wanita yang bekerja. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 orang wanita yang bekerja di kota Malang. Dengan skala nilai kerja yang terdiri dari 98 item pernyataan, ditemukan hasil analisa Z-Score dengan perolehan prosentase pada masing-masing tingkat nilai kerja dimulai dari ranking tertinggi adalah dimensi nilai otonomi (Autonomy), yaitu sebanyak 28 % atau 28 orang, kemudian diikuti dengan nilai prestasi (Achievement) dan azas mengutamakan orang lain (Altruism) yang sama-sama memiliki prosentase sebanyak 20%, dan berikutnya adalah nilai status (Status) dengan prosentase 18%, selanjutnya adalah nilai kenyamanan (Comfort) dengan prosentase sebanyak 14%, sedangkan nilai terbawah adalah nilai keamanan (Safety) dengan perolehan prosentase sebanyak 0%.

Rugby is one of the most popular sports abroad. Rugby sport that must have good physical condition for every athlete. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of physical condition of the Aceh PON team rugby athletes. With this type of quantitative descriptive research, the sample in this study was the Putra Pon Aceh Rugby Team as many as 12 athletes. Based on the results of the research on the physical condition test of the endurance level of athletes, the physical condition of the Aceh PON Rugby players was in the "very poor" category of 0% (0 people), "less" 0% (0 people), "enough" of 0% ( 0 people), “good” by 25% (3 people), and “very good” by 75% (9 people). Based on the average score, which is 2,800 the physical condition of the Aceh PON Rugby players in the "good" category.
