In mathematics, students' ability to solve problems is very much needed. Every student has different abilities. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct a research in order to find out the students' abilities in solving problems in mathematics, especially in fractional material. In researching, quantitative description is the method chosen by the researcher. In this study using a research instrument in the form of a test to measure students' ability to solve mathematical problems and conducted interviews. Data analysis of the results of mathematical tests about solving fractions of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kalirejo is in the high category. This is evident from the results of tests at SD Negeri 2 Kalirejo that included in the high category were 61.29%, moderate were 23.80% and the low and very low categories were 12.89%.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Jarimatika method in improving the multiplication ability of grade III students of MI Manba'ul Huda Tunjungrejo for the 2019/2020 academic year. This study describes the application of the Jarimatika method to the third grade students of MI Manba'ul Huda and then analyzes the suitability of the theory with practice so that its effectiveness can be determined. Collecting data in this study used interview and documentation methods while data analysis used Milles and Huberman's model analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, data verification. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Jarimatika method can improve students' numeracy skills. Students look active and happy when applying the Jarimatika method. The test results showed that the majority of students had good multiplication arithmetic skills. In addition, there are three criteria for the effectiveness of learning methods that must be met. First, the learning completeness of grade III students shows that the majority of students have exceeded the minimum completeness criteria. Second, there is an increase and a difference between initial understanding and after learning. Third, it can increase the interest and motivation of students who have difficulty calculating multiplication

Siswa bertipe Quitter hanya mampu memenuhi 1 indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah yaitu indikator 2. Analysis of students' problem-solving abilities in solving word problem sequence in terms of adversity quotientAbstractThe purpose of this qualitative research was to describe the students' problem-solving abilities in solving word problems in the sequences material in terms of Adversity Quotient (AQ). Problem-solving has four indicators namely: 1) overcoming the problem, 2) formulating the problem, 3) implementing the strategy, and 4) verifying the solution. The study was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The research subjects consisted of 30 students of class XI IPA 1 of Kesatrian 1 Semarang High School who had taught the sequences material. Then the subject was chosen based on the type of AQ namely climber, camper and quitter. Data collection techniques using the AQ questionnaire, the problem-solving test, and interview. The data analysis techniques of this study include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that students of the climber type were able to meet all the indicators of the four indicators of problem-solving namely indicators 1, 2, 3, and 4. Students of the camper type were able to fulfill three from four indicators of problem-solving namely indicators 1, 2, and 3. Students' quitter type were only able to meet one indicator of problem-solving, namely indicator 2.

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of pop-up book learning media on the motivation and learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 3 KAWO in the 2020/2021 academic year. The population in this study were all students of class V at SDN 3 KAWO, while the samples were students of class VA as the experimental class and students of class VB as the control class. Data analysis begins with a normality test using the One-Sample Kolmogrov Smirnov formula with a significance level of 5% (0.05) and continues with a homogeneity test further testing the research hypothesis and further testing with a gain-score test. Then the motivational data and learning outcomes were analyzed by Independent t-test. Samples Test to determine the research hypothesis, the results of data analysis obtained a t-count value of 3,241 while the t-table at a significance level of 5% was 2,048 so that the t-count value> t-table, which means that Ha, which states there is an effect of application pop-up book learning media on science learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN 3 KAWO in the 2020/2021 academic year, was accepted and H0 rejected. And the obtained t-count is 2.209 while the t-table at the 5% significance level is 2.048 so that the t-count value is >t-table, which means that Ha which states that there is an effect of the application of pop-up book learning media on participants' science learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN 3 KAWO for the academic year 2020/2021, were accepted and H0 was rejected. Then a follow-up test was carried out using gain-score test, the value of learning motivation is 0.403 which is included in the medium category, while the learning outcomes of 0.576 are included in the medium category.
