<p>Technological advances can be utilized to make information dissemination faster and more efficient. One example of the use of technology as a medium of information and management in the implementation of the conference is an information management system based on WEB. Based on the observations that have been conducted, found various problems, among others for the preparation of activity data reports, data participants, and so forth, actually already utilizing information technology, but still less effective. So many weaknesses that appear like; less effective and efficient in data processing, the time required for the preparation of reports long enough and the risk of error becomes large. Then from the side of presence also still printed manually. In addition, all the participants who register will be placed certificates, although the participants are not present in the conference, this happens because of the organizers difficult to sort out which participants are present and not present. In this article presented the feasibility test results of the conference management information system developed. Testing is performed on system experts, substance experts,   and users. Expert testing system using the instrument referring to ISO 9126 get 93% percentage. Expert testing of substance using instrument referring to ISO 9126 get 86% percentage.   While testing of users using the instruments that refer to ISO 9126 aspects of functionality gets an average percentage of 88.2%.</p>

Abstract The Iowa Flood Center (IFC), established following the 2008 record floods, has developed a real-time flood forecasting and information dissemination system for use by all Iowans. The system complements the operational forecasting issued by the National Weather Service, is based on sound scientific principles of flood genesis and spatial organization, and includes many technological advances. At its core is a continuous rainfall–runoff model based on landscape decomposition into hillslopes and channel links. Rainfall conversion to runoff is modeled through soil moisture accounting at hillslopes. Channel routing is based on a nonlinear representation of water velocity that considers the discharge amount as well as the upstream drainage area. Mathematically, the model represents a large system of ordinary differential equations organized to follow river network topology. The IFC also developed an efficient numerical solver suitable for high-performance computing architecture. The solver allows the IFC to update forecasts every 15 min for over 1,000 Iowa communities. The input to the system comes from a radar-rainfall algorithm, developed in-house, that maps rainfall every 5 min with high spatial resolution. The algorithm uses Level II radar reflectivity and other polarimetric data from the Weather Surveillance Radar-1988 Dual-Polarimetric (WSR-88DP) radar network. A large library of flood inundation maps and real-time river stage data from over 200 IFC “stream-stage sensors” complement the IFC information system. The system communicates all this information to the general public through a comprehensive browser-based and interactive platform. Streamflow forecasts and observations from Iowa can provide support for a similar system being developed at the National Water Center through model intercomparisons, diagnostic analyses, and product evaluations.

Financial information system is an information system that provides information to individuals or groups of people, both inside and outside the company that contains financial problems and information about the flow of money for users in the company. Financial information systems are used to solve financial problems in a company, by meeting three financial principles: fast, safe, and inexpensive.Quick principle, the intention is that financial information systems must be able to provide the required data on time and can meet the needs. The Safe Principle means that the financial information system must be prepared with consideration of internal controls so that company assets are maintained. The Principle of Inexpensive, the intention is that the cost of implementing a financial information system must be reduced so that it is relatively inexpensive. Therefore we need technology media that can solve financial problems, and produce financial information to related parties quickly, safely and cheaply. One example of developing information technology today is computer technology and internet. Starting from financial problems and technological advances, the authors make a website-based financial management application to facilitate the parties that perform financial management and supervision.Method of development application program is used Waterfall method, with the following stages: Software Requirement Analysis, Software Design, Program Code Making, Testing, Support, Maintenance.

The problem discussed in this study is designing a system that can be used as an ASI bank. The Posyandu in Bantarsoka Village is very concerned about the importance of breastfeeding for babies. A lot of babies who are not breast fed are a concern. On the other hand, many breastfeeding mothers also have excess breast milk. The absence of a system that accommodates information about ASI at the Posyandu in Bantarsoka Village makes the Posyandu less optimal in helping its residents overcome the problem of breastfeeding distribution. With current technological developments, the idea emerged to create an information system for ASI management, which later could be a solution to the problems. The ASI Bank Management System aims to provide a forum for mothers who have been excess breast fed to be able to donate their breast milk to babies who do not get their mother's milk intake. This study uses the Waterfall method which is carried out with a structured approach, starting from the system requirement's stages, analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. The result of this research is an information system in the form on the ASI Bank website. With this system, it is hoped that it can help with the problem of breastfeeding distribution. The system created can properly manage and record breastfeeding ownership, who is the donors and recipients. By utilizing Internet technology, information dissemination can be accessed quickly and easily.
