The purpose of this study are 1) to describe the implementation of strengthening tolerance values by Majlis Tafsir Al Qur'an (MTA) Center, 2) to describe the impact of strengthening the tolerance values by Majlis Tafsir Al Qur'an (MTA), 3) to know the supporting factors and the inhibitors of strengthening tolerance value by Majlis Tafsir Al Qur'an (MTA) as an effort to maintain the harmony between one and another religious groups. This study uses a qualitative research approach, this type of research is described qualitatively. The data sources are obtained from informants, places, events, and documents. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that (1) The implementation of strengthening tolerance values by Majlis Tafsir Al Qur'an (MTA) Center is carried out through recitation and activities in various fields such as: education, social, and health, which contain values the value of respecting, respecting, accepting differences, and mutual cooperation based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah, (2) The harmony between religious communities in the society is always guarded by Majlis Tafsir Al Qur'an (MTA), this is evidenced in the research findings where there is good relations between the congregation of the MTA and non-Muslim citizens around MTA, (3) The supporting factors of the strengthening of tolerance values in the Majlis Tafsir Al Qur'an (MTA) are: the value of tolerance in the Qur'an and the Sunnah (the Prophet's hadith) in the teachings of Islam, facilitates the strengthening of tolerance values that can be accepted by the congregation, the teaching material is conveyed in a language that is easily understood by worshipers, and the understanding of tolerance in MTA is relatively high. The inhibiting factors are: there is no study material that specifically made to discuss about the values of tolerance, the existence of a society that is easily provoked by issues and slander that develops so that it prevents MTA activities, and there are some individuals (Ex MTA) who vilify MTA. The purpose of this study is to find out how librarians are prepared to deal with disasters (Disaster Planning) from biological factors (termites) and fire disasters in the Library of Indonesia Institute of the Arts of Surakarta. Various library threats or library assets from damage can be threats from natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, tsunamis, fires, and so on. Other damage threats can be caused by biological and chemical and human factors, such as theft, vandalism, and the like. This study uses a qualitative research approach, namely research that describes the phenomenon, digging data by interviews, observation, and documentation. Problems in qualitative research are still temporary, tentative, and will develop or change after the researcher is in the field. Qualitative research requires data sources from informants. The use of triangulation techniques is done to test the credibility of the data by checking the data to the same source with different techniques. For example, data obtained by interview, then checked by observation, documentation, or questionnaire. Good planning in dealing with disasters will reduce the impact, including preparedness and long-term risk reduction measures. Matthews (2009) states that there are several steps or stages in disaster planning, including 1) prevention, 2) responses. The results of this research could theoretically contribute to scientific treasures for librarians in dealing with disasters (Disaster Planning) in the library. Besides, it is an input or recommendation and thought for the Indonesian Institute of the Arts of Surakarta.Keywords: librarian’s alert, disaster planning, biological (termite), fire

This study aims to describe: 1) The role of the principal in implementing education quality management at SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke, Jeneponto Regency, 2) Supporting and inhibiting factors for the principal in implementing education quality management at SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke, Jeneponto Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. Qualitative research is a research approach that uncovers certain social situations by properly describing reality, formed by words based on relevant data collection and analysis techniques obtained from natural situations. Sources of data in this study, namely data that shows the quality or quality of something that exists, in the form of circumstances, processes, events or events and others expressed in the form of words. The informants in the study were the principal, social studies teacher for class IX, and social studies teacher for class VII/VIII, English teacher and staff of SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke. The technique of determining the informant was carried out purposively, namely based on the capacity that provided convenience and willingness in the interview. The results of this study indicate that 1) the leadership role of the principal in implementing education quality management in SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke, namely: (a) the principal must have the right strategy and (b) apply leadership management. 2) Supporting and inhibiting factors for school principals in implementing education quality management at SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke, namely: supporting factors (a) mutual cooperation and kinship (b) providing opportunities for teachers in professional application training activities (c) facilitating all school activities, factors inhibiting (a) lack of motivation and enthusiasm of the principal (b) lack of leadership ability of the principal (c) lack of facilities and infrastructure and (d) low mental attitude.

Coronavirus new which caused the outbreak of pneumonia and caused the closure of tourist destinations and caused many SMEs products to be returned by the souvenir center and SMEs production stopped during the Covid-19 pandemic. Banyuwangi Regency has also experienced the closure of tourist destinations starting March 2020 and has an impact on SMEs in Banyuwangi Regency, one of which is Ratu Manis SMEs. After the closure of tourist attractions, 70% of Ratu Manis SMEs products that were entrusted to the souvenir center and tourist attractions were returned. The number of SMEs Ratu Manis production has also decreased. Many exhibition events at every festival held in Banyuwangi Regency have been canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Ratu Manis SMEs is trying to rise from the impact caused by the Covid-19 pandemic through synergy from various parties with the help of the government, academics, media and the community using the pentahelix approach. The research approach used in this research is descriptive research. The data sources used in this study are secondary and primary data sources. The data were collected using data collection techniques, namely observation and interviews with the source triangulation strategy for data validity. With penta helix synergy of industry, government, academia, media and the community sweet queen SMEs can survive to face the pandemic covid-19 and may even improve the quality of the products and sales turnover also increased from 20 kg to 40 kg per day.

Qualitative research has been criticised for not building a distinctive body of knowledge, leading to fewer publications and citations. In the light of this critique, this paper offers guidance on how qualitative researchers can contribute to developing a distinctive and cumulative body of knowledge, thereby attracting more attention to their research. In pursuit of this aim, there are four objectives addressed in this paper. The first objective is to explain the relevance and value of deductive qualitative approaches to theory building. Secondly, to illustrate how examining the maturation of a concept can help decide the appropriateness of a particular research approach. This paper explains how in their planning, researchers need to confirm their intention to contribute to theory development and to ensure that this is appropriate, given the stage of maturation of the concept to be investigated. The third objective is to offer guidance on the philosophical assumptions of the researcher and how to test research propositions. Therefore, it is advised that data collection and analysis should take place within a post-positivist paradigm, and that the field work should be designed and carried out with research propositions as a point of departure. The final research objective is to explain how the findings of a deductive qualitative study should be handled to demonstrate the contribution of the study to the body of knowledge. Here guidance is offered on the contextualisation and generalisation of research findings.

Families seek vacations as a means to improve family interaction and cohesion. Research on the effects of smartphones and other technology on the tourist experience has gained traction in recent years. Unfortunately, there still remains a void in understanding the role smartphones have on interaction and relationship dynamics during family vacations. Therefore, a qualitative research approach was employed to understand the extent to which smartphone usage influences the family vacation experience. The findings revealed that families relied on smartphones to foster a sense of family unity and retain a sense of individuality. Second, smartphones mediated families’ experience of a destination. Third, smartphones altered the traditional internalization and recollection process of family vacation memories.

<em>The behavior of theft of electricity is a form of violation that harms many parties. This research aims to know the violation class and category of violations by electricity customers in 3 years. The research approach used was qualitative research. The data sources in this study involved 1 management party, customers in the 1<sup>st</sup> year were 1,200 people, the 2<sup>nd</sup> year were 1,200 people, and the 3<sup>rd</sup> year were 700 people. Data collection techniques used were observation, documentation, literature study, and interviews. All data were analyzed inductively including data reduction, data presentation, and verification (arranging conclusion). The results of the research showed that the total number of violations for 3 years reached 7.1% which was distributed to 2.2% for class violations and 4.9% for categories of violations. The category of violations that occurred on the customer's side showed that it was greater than class violations. The number of class 3 violations reached 0.9% and violations of this class were higher than other classes. Meanwhile, the kWh violation category reached 2.6% and this violation category was higher than other categories. Based on the rate of the number of violations each year, there was an increase in violations by 0.2% – 0.9%.</em>

Al Masruriyyah Islamic Boarding School is one of the huts of the Tebuireng foundation that is still hungry for discipline in obeying the rules of the cottage. Al Masruriyyah Islamic boarding schools apply ta’zir as a form of consequence for santri who violate the rules of the cottage. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of ta’zir in increasing the discipline of santri in Al Masruriyyah Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained will be compiled by reducing/summarizing the data, then presenting the data and drawing conclusions.  Based on the research shows that: the implementation  of ta’zir carried out by the management and has been approved by the supervisor and caregivers for giving ta’zir every 2 weeks. The criteria for the distribution of ta’zir are 3 from the low, medium and heavy according to the mistakes that have been made. The procedure for giving ta’zir (1) is advised, (2) in ta’zir (3) to be called to Ndalem. The impact of the implementation of ta’zir is that there is a better change in the implementation of teaching and learning activities, obeying the rules, and discipline in worship activities to Allah SWT.

Education is an instrument to shape and improve human character for the better. One form of strengthening character education is through madrasa culture. This study aims to determine the application of madrasa culture at MTsN 2 Banyuwangi as a means of strengthening student character education. It was initiated by the problem of moral degradation that is happening at this time, so that madrasa culture is seen as an effort to prevent moral degradation. This study uses a qualitative research approach with case study research methods. With research subjects the head of administration, teachers, and students of MTsN 2 Banyuwangi. Data was collected by using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using induction techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions to produce in-depth and comprehensive research findings. From this research, it can be seen that madrasa culture has been implemented and has become an inseparable part of MTsN 2 Banyuwangi which contributes to strengthening character education.Pendidikan merupakan instrumen untuk membentuk dan memperbaiki karakter manusia menjadi lebih baik. Salah satu bentuk dari penguatan pendidikan karakter adalah melalui budaya madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan budaya madrasah di MTsN 2 Banyuwangi sebagai sarana penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa. Hal itu diawali oleh permasalahan degradasi moral yang terjadi pada saat ini, sehingga budaya madrasah dipandang sebagai sebuah upaya untuk mencegah terjadinya degradasi moral. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Dengan subjek penelitian kepala tata usaha, guru, dan siswa MTsN 2 Banyuwangi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian analisis dengan teknik induksi yakni pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan sehingga menghasilkan temuan penelitian mendalam dan menyeluruh. Dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa budaya madrasah telah diterapkan dan menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan di MTsN 2 Banyuwangi yang turut berkontribusi dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter.

The effort of the formation or establishment of spiritual intelligence on the students is done by planting Islamic religious values in PAI learning and character planting which then implemented in the form of daily behavior that reflects the character or identity of each individual learners and is supported by the religious program that have been compiled by the school institution. This study aims to (1) Describe and analyze the process of the formation of spiritual intelligence on students or learners (2) Describe and analyze the implementation of religious activity programs in shaping spiritual intelligence in learners (3) Describe and analyze the impact of the formation of spiritual intelligence in learners through the implementation of the religious program. This research uses qualitative research approach. The type of research used in this research is case study and case studies and multiple cases design. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that in SD Plus NurulHikmah the formation of spiritual intelligence is done by planting the values of faith and pillars of Islam as well as the implanting of characters in learning PAI and applied through the program of religious activity and application of character, while in MIN Konang the formation of spiritual intelligence done by planting The prophet characteristics and the prophet`s story in learning PAI as well as the planting of characters applied in the form of religious activity and the application of character.The formation of spiritual intelligence in both schools can be concluded that overall spiritual intelligence in learners has been formed, it is known from attitudes, behaviors and religious activities always performed by learners at both school and at home, although the results have not reached one hundred percent, But both school is always working in terms of improving the strategy of the formation of spiritual intelligence in learners.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of his research is to find out and analyze the practice of the qardh in Islamic perspective, and the impact of the practice of financing with the Qardh contract on empowerment UMKM , as well as supporting and inhibiting factors and solutions of the empoerment. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological approach as the main theoretical basis. The data collection techniques used interviews, observation, documentation, about the practice of Qardh Practices at the Bank Wakaf Mikro Alpen Barokah Mandiri Islamic Perspective in empowerment Small and Medium Businesses (UMKM) Around the Boarding School.
