The Government of Jember Regency is actively implementing the Regional Regulation (PERDA) of Jember Regency No. 7 of 2016 concerning the Protection and Fulfillment of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, especially on equal distribution of access to information in public spaces, one of which is the library. This study discusses the accessibility of disabled users at the Regional Public Library of Jember Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative description through data collection, interviews, observations and literature. The analysis of physical accessibility which includes parking areas, pedestrian paths, guide paths for library door services, circulation desks, signs, ramps, layouts and toilets so far has carried the spirit of a disability-friendly library, although it is not fully compliant with IFLA standards, but this is a capital for its development. management of the main causes of the program and the diversity of types of services with consideration of the degree of disability in the Jember Regency Public Library.

Kemajuan teknologi dan informasi telah membawa perubahan besar terhadap perkembangan  dan penyebaran ilmu pengetahun.  Ini merupakan bagian mempengaruhi pemustaka dalam mengakses informasi. Pemustaka menginginkan informasi akurat dan cepat, bahkan tanpa mengubah lokasi. Perpustakaan sebagai lembaga informasi dituntut dapat memberikan pengguna sistem akses yang nyaman. Paradigma tentang perpustakaan di era ini telah berubah, perpustakaan yang dulunya sebagai bangunan (fisik),  perpustakaan kini dipandang  dari akses, seberapa mampu perpustakaan memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pengguna. Dalam tulisan ini diuraikan perkembangan perpustakaan digital melalui pemikiran tokoh tokoh perpustakaan di Indonesia.

The research intends to describe the role of libraries as public service institutions in the field of information in the era of globalization. The research object is based on the discussion focusing on analysis based on comprehensive detailed studies about the content of library information services in the era of globalization. The research includes in-depth evaluation and analysis activities, based on a basic study of the management of the library's role as a public service institution in the field of information. Analyzing activities require realistic critical thinking, to be able to apply the conceptualization of historical traces in the past and what is currently happening so that it is appropriate to use the historical approach, namely research that is a critical investigation of the development of a thought or term. Primary information sources are considered as the most important elements to be utilized as primary data. Data collection utilizes library research, carries out literature reading activities with the subject of the role of libraries, library information services, and the era of globalization, to realize synchronization and harmonization of conceptualization lines of thought. The analysis uses descriptive qualitative analysis, relying on sources of analysis from various reading materials that are theoretical, research, or non-research. Research puts forward listening, studying, and examining carefully to be able to evaluate various facts and find various solutions to the problems contained in social phenomena. Validity can be achieved, then the analysis requires content analysis that is useful in analyzing the meaning of the most important concepts, the role of libraries, information services, and the era of globalization. Observation is utilized as an essential element to support the construction of theory. The results of the study are (1). Information in the era of globalization is not only to increase knowledge but serves as a necessity of life, so that information has a very decisive position in all activities of people's lives. (2). Information is free and open, so you can take advantage of the library which acts as a center for information sources and sources of knowledge.Keywords: Information; Information Services; library

Perpustakaan divisi Knowledge Management merupakan perpustakaan khusus di bawah naungan PT. Pendidikan Maritim dan Logistik Indonesia (PT. PMLI), perpustakaan ini mendedikasikan diri sebagai pusat informasi dan pengetahuan di bidang kepelabuhanan. Sebagai perpustakaan khusus, koleksi perpustakaan didominasi dengan subyek port, maritime dan logistics, dan menggunakan sistem klasifikasi khusus. Lantas bagaimanakah bentuk notasi sistem klasifikasi khusus tersebut, dan bagaimanakah cara penerapannya?. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara tidak terstruktur, observasi parsipatif pasif dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, serta teknik triangulasi dan membercheck. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa berdasarkan hasil wawancara, observasi dan tinjauan literatur, notasi sistem klasifikasi khusus di perpustakaan divisi Knowledge Management PT. PMLI, membagi bagan sistem klasifikasi koleksi menjadi 5 besar berdasarkan jenis koleksinya yaitu: 1). Textbook (TXT), 2). Reference (REF), 3). Thesis and Dissertation (TD), 4). IPC Publication (IPC), 5). koleksi umum (LC). Proses penerapan sistem klasifikasi khusus melalui 4 tahapan yaitu: 1). analisis subjek, 2). pengklasifikasian, 3). labelling, 4). shelving, namun dalam buku panduan tersebut belum dijelaskan secara terperinci. Sehingga perlu kiranya untuk memperbarui dan melengkapi sistem klasifikasi dan aturan penerapan dalam buku pedoman tata kelola perpustakaan divisi Knowledge Management PT. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui mengenai apa itu layanan perpustakaan. Selain itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja layanan perpustakaan sekolah berdasarkan standar nasional Indonesia. Penelitian ini disusun dengan pendekatan studi literatur, dengan metode pengumpulan daftar pustaka, mencatat maupun membaca, serta mengelola bahan penelitian yang bersumber dari jurnal, buku, internet, dan pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa layanan perpustakaan merupakan fasilitas atau layanan yang diberikan oleh pengelola perpustakaan kepada penggunanya atau kepada pemustaka. Layanan perpustakaan untuk setiap lembaga berbeda-beda dan sudah ditetapkan standarnya oleh Badan Standarisasi Nasional Indonesia. Dalam hal ini perpustakaan sekolah memiliki beberapa layanan perpustakaan berdasarkan standar nasional yang terdiri dari layanan baca, layanan sirkulasi, layanan referensi, dan layanan teknologi informasi komunikasi. Namun pada kenyataaanya layanan perpustakaan sekolah berdasarkan standar nasional ini belum sepenuhnya terealisasikan oleh beberapa lembaga perpustakaan sekolah. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya sosialisasi pemerintah dalam menciptakan layanan perpustakaan yang sesuai dengan standar nasional.  Pustakawan sebagai pengelola perpustakaan pun harus terus menerus mengoptimalkan layanan perpustakaan agar tercipta suatu kepuasan dalam melayanani pengguna perpustakaan.Kata kunci : Layanan perpustakaan; Perpustakaan sekolah

The purpose of writing this scientific study is to find out: (1) the association of early childhood reading interests with family literacy, (2) motivation that affects early childhood in increasing reading interest, (3) Aspects in the family environment that may affect reading interest in early childhood. This research uses literature review methods in the collection of its data, where there are several steps taken in the preparation of this study. The first step is selecting the topic of discussion, namely identifying and focusing on the topic to be written, then searching for literature sources through various sources, and writing studies. The result of this study is that there is a link between children's reading interest and family literacy and things that families must do in an effort to increase reading interest in early childhood. Several types of motivation both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation play a role in reading interest in early childhood, as well as several aspects in the family environment that affect reading interest in children at an early age.Keywords: interest reading, motivation, family role, childhood.

Instagram sebagai salah satu media sosial yang populer di Indonesia saat ini memiliki cukup banyak manfaat dan peranan bagi masyarakat penggunanya. Salah satunya sebagai media penghantar informasi bagi masyarakat. Hubungan antara informasi dengan perpustakaan juga sangat erat, oleh karena itu tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan Instagram sebagai sebuah media promosi bagi perpustakaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Studi Literatur, dengan sumber data yang berasal dari jurnal, buku digital, dan beberapa sumber online lainnya. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam mini riset ini menunjukkan bahwa banyak perpustakaan yang memanfaatkan Instagram sebagai wadah promosi mereka, dengan konten postingan mengenai koleksi yang dimiliki perpustakaan, layanan yang disediakan perpustakaan, kegiatan atau event yang akan digelar, hingga informasi lainnya yang bermanfaat bagi khalayak. Kata Kunci: Media Sosial, Instagram, Promosi Perpustakaan, Post Content

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted to determine the impact of changes to the Slims to Inlislite system at the SMK Negeri 9 Bandung Library. The research method that researchers use is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used by researchers for research are observation and interviews. Descriptive data analysis method, with data analysis technique in the form of data reduction. Presentation of data, drawing conclusions, and verification. . The results of research that have been researchers show that the impact of the Change in the Slims to Inlite Automation System at the SMKN 9 Bandung Library, has an impact on convenience for librarians. In Inlislite there is also a feature that provides information regarding borrowing data, such as sanctions or fines and delays in returning books which are only confirmed by scanning a barcode. So that it can overcome the queues of visitors and can also save time and effort for librarians in their work.Key words: Automation impact; Slims; integrated library system (Inlislite); School library ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak dari perubahan sistem Slims ke Inlislite di Perpustakaan SMK Negeri 9 Bandung. Metode penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti untuk penelitian yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Metode analisis data deskriptif, dengan teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data. Penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. . Hasil penelitian yang telah peneliti menunjukan bahwa dampak Perubahan Sistem Otomasi Slims Ke Inlislite Di Perpustakaan Smkn 9 Bandung, memberi dampak kemudahan bagi pustakawan. Di Inlislite juga terdapat fitur yang memberikan informasi  data peminjaman mengenai seperti misalnya sanksi atau denda dan keterlambatan waktu pengembalian buku yang hanya dikakukan dengan scan barcode. Sehingga dapat mengatasi antrean pemustaka dan juga dapat menghemat waktu dan tenaga pustakawan dalam pekrjaannya.Kata kunci: dampak otomasi; slims; integrated library system (inlislite); perpustakaan sekolah

This study is to describe the information needs of XII class students in Khadijah Surabaya Senior High School. The research method used is descriptive quantitative and the research location is in Khadijah Surabaya Senior High School. The population was taken from XII students class and a valid sample filled out the questionnaire as many as 68 students. The sampling technique was Purposive Sampling. The result of the research shows that 11 (eleven) indicators derived from David Nicholas used by the researcher produce 36 derivative indicators for the research questionnaire. From the 36 questions, 34 indicators show a high category score. While the remaining 2 show a score that is in the medium category. Indicators that are in the medium category have the lowest score. Those are the respondent’s information needs about technological and communication developments and the information needs of respondents who have an intellectual level of information that is filled with writing or words. On the other hand, the result of the highest score was found in the respondent’s information needs indicator showing that respondents need more information with a visually pleasing collection – book, magazine, or any other forms of information sources. Keyword: Analysis of Information Needs; Student Information Needs; Library School

Introduction. Reference services occupy a very important position in the library. This article aims to review the existence of reference services in libraries. Research methods. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected using literatures regarding reference services in the library. Data analysis. The data that has been collected are then categorized and given their analysis and interpretation. Results and Discussion. Where in this article, this article discusses the definition of the reference service itself, the function of reference services in the library, the types of collections provided by the reference service, and the types of reference services themselves. Conclusions and suggestions. Reference services are unique services and require special skills or expertise from the officers.
