<p><em>This research aims (1) to comprehend the relative construction of English and Indonesia language on some texts relating to Donald Trump is elected as the 45<sup>th</sup> President of USA in 2016 semantically, and (2) to describe the analysis of relative constructive clauses between English and Indonesia language semantically. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Meanwhile, method of collecting data is agih method and the techniques are substitution, expand, interuption, and mutation. Based on the texts relating to Donald Trump is elected as the President of USA in 2016, it is found that the analysis of relative constructive clause of English and Indonesia language is based on the use of conjunction. In Indonesia language texts, there is one conjuction, namely: “yang”, meanwhile in English language texts, there are five conjuctions, namely: “who, whom, which, whose, and that”. If it is viewed from its semantics adjacent, relative clause can be divided into two sections based on its orthographics, namely: (1) restrictive relative clause which refers to the explained antecedent or as the integral unity from antecedent and unmarked by comma, and (2) non-restrictive relative clause as the additional information from antecedent explained and marked by comma. </em></p>

Transferring meaning embedded by English idiom is not an easy way to do. The meaning contained by English Idiom cannot be comprehended by merely knowing the meaning from each word arranging the idiom. Dealing with English idiom in translation is quite hard because the translator has to transfer the meaning of English idiom into Bahasa Indonesia rightly. On the other hand, it is quite difficult to find the equivalence term in Bahasa Indonesia reflecting the same meaning as it is reflected in the source text. To manage this problem, the translation strategies need to be applied. This research focuses on analyzing the translation strategies used by the translator in transferring the meaning of English idioms into Bahasa Indonesia in the subtitle of  Pitch Perfect 3 Movie. The research method is descriptive qualitative method.. Baker’s translation strategies is used as guideline in classifying the translation strategies used. After finding the type of translation strategies employed, further identifying whether the meaning of English idiom is transferred rightly in Bahasa Indonesia. According to the finding, translation by using idiom in similar meaning and disimilar form was not used by the translator to translate the idioms. The frequency of  translation by using idiom in similar meaning but disimilar form strategy is 4 idioms. 46 idioms were translated by using paraphrased strategy. It is only 1 idiom was translated by using omission strategy. that the meaning of 36 idioms are transferred accurately. The meaning of four idioms were transferred Less-accurately. The meaning of 11 idioms were classified as inaccurate translation

Language is a medium that is used to convey information both orally or in writing from one individual to another individual. In Indonesia we use Indonesian as a national language and unifying language of our nation. However, over time, Indonesian language began to experience a shift in its use and was replaced by English. Language learning can also be obtained through social media namely Instagram. The main purpose of this article is to identify the role of social media Instagram as a strategy to maintain the existence of Indonesian language. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative approach from the account @bahasbahasa_. Based on the research, the data taken from the account @ bahasbahasa_ turns out that Instagram plays a role in improving the existence of Indonesian language. This is evident from some of his submissions which show how the Indonesian language is used properly and correctly. Data is classified based on the type of content sent by the account, namely the use of punctuation, standard words, and affixes. With the existence of this article, the researcher hopes that readers can find out the role of the Instagram in maintaining the existence of the language and using the best instagram for learning.

<p><em>The research, entitled "Whatsapp Chat Indonesian Language Group Jargon Variations" aims to describe the variety of language jargon conducted by the Indonesian Language Tadris student community. The research method used is descriptive qualitative which analyzes the results of research in the form of words. Where the data is obtained, analyzed, classified and interpreted based on the results of research in the field. The technique used in the study is a technique to see and note. The results showed that there were 76 findings of data classified in (a) form of jargon, (b) classification of language variations in jargon in language level, (c) pattern of jargon language variation, (d) factors that led to language variations in jargon</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p><em><em>Penelitian yang berjudul “Variasi Jargon Chatting Whatsapp Grup Mahasiswa Tadris Bahasa Indonesia” bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan variasi bahasa jargon yang dilakukan oleh komunitas mahasiswa Tadris Bahasa Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang menganalisis hasil penelitian berupa kata-kata. Dimana data-datanya diperoleh, dianalisis, diklasifikasikan dan diinterpretasikan berdasarkan hasil penelitian di lapangan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teknik simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya 76 temuan data yang diklasifikasikan dalam (a) wujud jargon, (b) klasifikasi variasi bahasa jargon dalam tingkat bahasa, (c) pola variasi bahasa jargon, (d) faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya variasi bahasa jargon</em></em></p>

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fenomena berbahasa Indonesia pada peserta didik, bagaimana pandangan rekonstruksionisme dan peran metode komunikatif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa pada peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dilakukan dengan teknik. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini, yaitu peserta didik masih kesulitan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar pada situasi formal. Hal ini tidak terlepas dari pemerolehan dan pembelajaran bahasa yang diperoleh peserta didik sebelumnya. Dengan berpijak pada teori rekonstruksionisme dan metode komunikatif, peserta didik dapat memperoleh dan menggunakan suatu bahasa dengan baik jika bahasa itu sering digunakan atau bersifat komunikatif. Hal ini mengimplikasikasikan bahwa seseorang dapat membangun kemampuan berbahasa dari pengalaman-pengalaman yang diperolehnya, artinya peserta didik harus sering mengalami atau menggunakan bahasa tersebut. Adapun peran dari metode komunikatif itu sendiri, yaitu meningkatkan atau mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa peserta didik. Peran sekolah dan guru adalah mendorong anak untuk menggunakan bahasa-bahasa tersebut dengan mencipatakan situasi-situasi tertentu (situasi komunikatif) agar kemampuan berbahasa peserta didik berkembang dengan baik, baik itu berbahasa Indonesia maupun berbahasa Asing.</p><p><em>This study aims to find out the phenomenon of Indonesian language in learners, how the views of reconstructionism and the role of communicative methods in developing language skills in learners. The research method that I use is qualitative research method. Descriptive qualitative research method is done by technique. The results of this study, namely learners are still difficult to use the Indonesian language is good and true in the formal situation. This can not be separated from the acquisition and learning of language obtained by previous learners. Based on the theory of reconstructionism and communicative methods, learners can acquire and use a language well if the language is often used or communicative. This implies that a person can build the language skills of the experiences he / she obtains, meaning that learners should often experience or use the language. The role of the communicative method itself, which is to improve or develop the language skills of learners. The role of schools and teachers is to encourage children to use these languages by creating specific situations (communicative situations) so that the language skills of learners develop well, be it Indonesian-speaking or foreign languages.  </em></p>

The use of Indonesian rules in writing student thesis is very important, but in some cases errors are still found. The omission of errors that will continue to have a negative impact on the quality of thesis/scientific work of students, and can further reduce the authority of the institution. This is the basis of this research. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The results showed that the misuse of Indonesian rules usage in the thesis writing of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Brawijaya Malang was relatively high. Therefore, there needs to be an effort from the leadership to follow up these findings by paying attention to the lecturer’s competencies of Indonesian general subjects lecturer, both through increasing hours of study and providing courses for final semester students.

This research entitled “Indonesian Language Variety of the Army; Psycholinguistic studies”. The way it expess are also in firm, solid, and clear manner. This research is the background of the author to conduct a research on the diversity of languages applied in the military.  The aims of this research is to describe and understand the use of language in the military. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research method, interview techniques, and oral direct communication with students and military teachers. The implication of this study on linguistics knowledge is that on psycholinguistic study, to find out the mentality of a student while studying at Rindam IX/Udayana.

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan perbedaan antara kalimat pasif dalam dua bahasa, yaitu bahasa Indonesia dan Jepang. Kalimat pasif bahasa Jepang dapat ditunjukkan dengan verba benefaktif yarimorai yang dilekatkan pada verba inti untuk makna benefaktif, sedangkan dalam kalimat pasif bahasa Indonesia ditandai dengan prefiks di-, ter- dan ke-an. Verba benefaktif dalam bahasa Indonesia bukan kalimat pasif, melainkan kalimat aktif. Perbedaan itu sering membuat pembelajar bahasa Jepang melakukan kesalahan ketika pembelajar mengaplikasikan kalimat pasif bahasa Jepang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan analisis pembelajar bahasa Jepang dalam mengubah kalimat pasif bahasa Jepang ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan teknik penelitian adalah studi kepustakaan dan metode kajiannya adalah kajian distribusional. Hasil penelitian ini adalah prefiks di- yang merupakan salah satu penanda pasif dalam bahasa Indonesia jika diungkapkan ke dalam bahasa Jepang tidak selalu bisa dipadankan dengan bentuk pasif reru/rareru sehingga hal ini menjadi kendala bagi pembelajar bahasa Jepang yang berbahasa ibu bahasa Indonesia.This study describes the difference between passive sentences in two languages, namely Indonesian and Japanese. Japanese passive sentences can be indicated by the benefactive verb yarimorai which is attached to the core verb for the benefactive meaning, while in Indonesian passive sentences it is marked with the prefix di-, ter- and ke-an. Benefactive verbs in Indonesian are not passive sentences, but active sentences. This difference often makes Japanese learners make mistakes when learners apply Japanese passive sentences. The purpose of this study was to describe the mistakes of Japanese learners in confirming Japanese sentences. The research method applied is descriptive qualitative method, while the research technique is literature study and the method of study is distributional studies. The result of this research is that the prefix di- which is one of the passive markers in Indonesian when expressed in Japanese cannot always be matched with the passive form reru / rareru so this becomes an obstacle for Japanese learners who speak Indonesian as their mother tongue.

AbstractThe study states the research question on character educational value of Kalamata novel by Ni Made Purnama Sari and its relevance by learning literature in high school. The research objective is to describe and analyze the character educational value of Kalamata novel by Ni Made Purnama Sari and its relevancy by learning literature in high school. The used research method is descriptive qualitative. This study investigates 12 character educational values of Kalamata novel that consist of (1) social care, (2) religious, (3) creative, (4) environmental awareness, (5) friendly or communicative, (6) curiosity, (7) honest, (8) nationalism, (9) work hard, (10) tolerance, (11) achievement appreciation, and (12) nationality spirit. ABSTRAK Penelitian Model Penerjemahan Bahasa Ungkapan Dalam Pertunjukan Wayang Lakon Wahyu Purba Sejati ini berusaha menyusun model penerjemahan bahasa ungkapan dalam pertunjukan wayang Lakon Wahyu Purba Sejati dari bahasa Jawa ke dalam bahasa Inggris. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Bahasa ungkapan tersebut diterjemahkan dari bahasa Jawa ke dalam bahasa Indonesia dan juga diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Inggris sehingga orang yang berasal dari budaya selain Jawa di Indonesia dan juga orang dari budaya lain di negara lain bisa memahaminya dengan mudah. Hasil yang dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah model penerjemahan bahasa ungkapan dalam pertunjukan wayang Lakon Wahyu Purba Sejati dari bahasa Jawa ke dalam bahasa Inggris. Keluaran dari penelitian ini berupa artikel yang akan dimuat dalam jurnal ilmiah. The idioms are translated from Javanese into Indonesia and then translated into English in order that people or students from other culture in Indonesia can easily understand it, besides, people from other country also can do it as well.The results achieved from this study are the translation model of idioms or expression language in lakon Wahyu Purba Sejati. The output of this research is in the form of articles which will be published in scientific journals.
