<p><em>This study aims to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SDN 01 Petanjungan, totaling 32 students using the school literacy method. The implementation of this classroom action research is carried out in 3 cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection was obtained from teacher and student observation sheets. To measure student learning outcomes, cognitive aspects are measured using a formative test. The results in the first cycle resulted in learning outcome data as follows: the cognitive aspect resulted in an average of 73.59 with 47% learning completeness. The results in cycle II produce learning outcome data as follows: cognitive aspects produce an average of 81.88 with 62.5% completeness of learning, while in cycle III produce an average of 83.90 with learning completeness of 84.37%. With an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle can be concluded that the school literacy method can improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian students in fifth grade SDN 01 Petanjungan.</em></p>

This research purposed to increasing cognitive learning outcomes and involvement level of Mountainview Christian Elementary School fifth grade students with applying active learning and review game method. The research that be done is Classroom Action Research which had two cycle. Data in this research gotten from observation, questionnaire, and test then analyzed in percentage form. Learning outcomes result analyzed based on the minimum completeness criteria percentage whether individual or general. The result of the research show that the student learning outcomes result in general increased. In the first cycle the students that pass the minimum completeness criteria was 85% and increased in the second cycle become 100% , the learning outcomes average in the first cycle is 9.23 increased in the second cycle become 9.73. learning outcomes that increased also followed by the increasing of student involvement level about 15% from the first cycle which is 54% categorized as enough become 77% in the second cycle categorized as active. From this research result concluded that the applying of active learning with review game could increasing cognitive learning outcomes and involvement level of the students.

The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of the result of the study of the widespread joint building material in the second grade students in SD Negeri 02 Toyomarto Singosari with Jigsaw learning model. The research method using Classroom Action Research with 2 cycles consisting of 4 phases, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection method used in this research is observation and post test. Data analysis used is descriptive quantitative data analysis obtained from observation result of learning and post test result at every meeting. The result of the analysis shows that learning with Jigsaw learning model can improve the result of the study of the joint wake up area in the students of class VI SDN 02 Toyomarto academic year 2017/2018. The average value of cognitive learning outcomes I (60.82), then the average cognitive learning outcome II (78.9) showed an increase compared to cognitive learning outcomes I. In addition, Jigsaw learning model also improves student activeness. This is indicated by the percentage of active students more on the learning cycle II (31.11%) compared to cycle I (13,%).

This study aims to determine the cognitive achievement of students before using cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) and to know the learning activities undertaken by teachers and students using the NHT model on science subjects. The research describing the picture of the process of learning science by using cooperative learning model NHT, and describe the cognitive learning outcomes of students after using NHT. The methodology in this research is the Classroom Action Research comprising the steps of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection that lasted for two cycles, with the subject of fifth-grade students of Islamic primary school Sirojul Subang district West Java Indonesia with 27 students, consisting of 13 girls and 14 boys. Based on the results of research analysis that the implementation of NHT model is well-implemented student cognitive learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained an average value of 76 with 74% learning completeness and in cycle II obtained an average value 91 with 100% complete learning. Thus there is a significant improvement in the learning process using cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together on science subjects.

The problem in this research is found in Indonesian subjects that of the 30 students with KKM 75, which has already reached KKM as many as 15 people (41.7%), while that has not reached the KKM as many as 21 students (58.3%). The situation was caused by the teacher in explaining the lesson Indonesian still using a model of lectures and familiarize students to memorize, so that students can develop their ideas. The problems of this study as follows: Is the learning model application role playing can improve learning outcomes Indonesian fifth grade students of SDN 032 Kualu Kecamatan Tambang? This study aims to improve learning outcomes Indonesian grade students of SDN 032 Kualu Kecamatan Tambang through the application of learning models role playing. This research was conducted one month from the month of April 2015. The research was conducted 2 cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings as well as twice daily tests. Classroom action research in order to succeed, the researchers set the stage that action planning, action, observation and reflection. Based on the research results, it could be concluded that the activity of teachers in learning implementation role playing, in the first cycle average teacher activity amounted to 62.50% in the category of less pretty, and the activities of teachers in the second cycle of 84.72% in both categories once. Thus there is increased activity of teachers by 22.22% from the first cycle to the second cycle. The average activity of students in the first cycle the percentage of student activity in learning tends to increase. At the first meeting with the average student activity that is 61.25% with the category enough. At the second meeting increased by an average of student activity that is 81.25% with the category enough. The average increase in the activity of the students from the first cycle to the second cycle of 20.00%. The class classically considered complete when a class has achieved a score of 85% of the amount due or to KKM 75 then the class is said to be completed (90.00%). From the above shows that the application of learning models can improve outcomes role playing learning Indonesian grade students of SDN 032 Kualu Kecamatan Tambang, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted as true action.

The low interest of students in Indonesian language subject caused the majority of the students to be less enthusiastic about the lessons delivered by the teacher, so that students’ learning outcomes were low. The purpose of this study was to increase students’ interest and learning outcomes in Indonesian subjects through direct learning for 5th grade students in SDN 3 Karangraja. The subjects of this study were the fifth-grade students of SDN 3 Karangraja, with the total of 25 students. This research was conducted for two cycles. The results showed that in each cycle there was a progress that was proven with the result in the first cycle, the students’ interest reached 13 students (52.00%) in learning and students who passed the learning through the improvement in cycle I were only 13 students (52.0%). In the second cycle improvement, there was an increase in interest of 23 students (92.00%). Thus, the learning outcomes of students were increasing with the number of 23 students (92.0%) passed the subject. This result proved that through the direct learning method students could solve their own problems in Indonesian language subject.

Background of this research is the low social learning outcomes on students fifth grade at SDN 16 Cakranegara, it is caused by learning process focus on teaccher (Teacher Centered) and they used monoton method. Teacher usually teach only usuhg speech method and they didn’t support by the appropriate facilities. The problem in this research is how the efectivness of bowl fish teachnique could improve social learning outcomes on fifth grade students at SDN 16 Cakranegara in 2016 to 2017 ? The purpose is to improve social learning outcomes on fifth grade students in 2016 to 2017 by using bowl fish technique or aquarum. This is a base calssrom research in two cydes each cycle consist of planning, implementation, action, observation,and evaluation, reflection as well. The method collecting data are observation, documentation and test. In the frist cycle the result is on average 75,375 with percentage 70,83% and the scores for activities of students are 53 categories active enough. In second cycle the students having an increase on average 82,791 categories active. The conelusion is the efectivness of bowl fish technique could improve social learing outcomes on fifth grade students at SDN 16 Cakranegara in 2016 to 2017. Key Word : The efectivness, techniques of “bowl fish technique or aquarium”, and social learing out comes.   Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V A di SDN 16 Cakranegara. Hal ini disebabkan pembelajaran masih terpusat pada guru (Teacher Centered) dan teknik serta metode yang digunakan monoton. Guru biasanya hanya mengajar dengan metode ceramah saja, dan tidak di dukung dengan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah Efektivitas Teknik Mangkuk Ikan atau Akuarium (Fish Bowl) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V A SDN 16 Cakranegara Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V A SDN 16 Cakra Negara Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan menerapkan teknik Mangkuk Ikan Atau Akuarium (Fish Bowl). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan evaluasi serta refleksi. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 75,375 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 70,83% dan skor rata-rata aktivitas siswa 53 dengan kategori cukup aktif. Pada siklus II data hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan yakni rata-rata 82,791 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 87,5% dan skor rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa 58,5 dengan kriteria aktif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Efektivitas Teknik Mangkuk Ikan atau Akuarium (Fish Bowl) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V A SDN 16 Cakranegara Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Abstract: This research aims to find out how the application of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model and the Jigsaw learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes in labor issues material in Indonesia. The independent variable of this study is “Two Stay Two Stray learning model (TSTS) and Jigsaw learning model”, while the dependent variable is “Learning Outcomes”. The research approach used in this research was a quantitative approach. The form of research used in this study was an experiment form with Two Group Pretest Posttest research design. The population in this research were all students of class IX IPS consisting of four classes namely class IX IPS 1, IX IPS 2, IX IPS 3, and IX IPS 4 with the total number of students were 134. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Data collection tools used were test questions, observation sheets and documentation. The results showed that There were no significant differences in cognitive learning outcomes between students who used the two stay two stray learning model and the jigsaw learning model with the results of Z_ (count) of 1.72 and Z_ (table) at a significant level of 0.05 were 1.96. Keywords: TSTS Learning Model and Jigsaw, Learning Outcome Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana penerapan model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dengan model pembelajaran Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi permasalahan ketenagakerjaan di indonesia. Variabel bebas penelitian ini adalah “model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dan model pembelajaran Jigsaw”, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah “Hasil Belajar”. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah bentuk eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian Two Group Pretest Posttest Designs. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX IPS yang terdiri dari empat kelas yaitu kelas IX IPS 1, IX IPS 2, IX IPS 3, dan IX IPS 4 dengan jumlah keseluruhan siswa yaitu 134. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah soal tes, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar kognitif antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran two stay two stray dengan model pembelajaran jigsaw dengan hasil  sebesar 1,72 dan  pada taraf signifikan 0,05 sebesar 1,96. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran TSTS dan  Jigsaw, Hasil belajar

This study aims to improve students' learning activeness and cognitive-learning outcomes using Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on the 2013 Curriculum. The research was a two-cycle action research, conducted in an oxygen-acetylene welding (OAW) practice of SMK Teknik Fabrikasi Logam. There were four stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected by means of observations using checklists and rating-scale instruments and were analyzed descriptively. The result of PBL implementation show that: (1) students’ activeness is improved by 11.20%; (2) students’ cognitive-learning outcomes is improved by 5.32%. The cognitive outcomes improvement can be broken down into memorization (86.97%), comprehension (77.68%), application (78.77%), analysis (79.61%), evaluation (77.97%) and synthesis (79.16%); (3) the percentages of students who passed the minimum mastery criteria on the cognitive aspects is 91.31%; and (4) PBL is in line with the scientific approach of the 2013 CurriculumPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran dan kemampuan hasil belajar kognitif siswa SMK Teknik Fabrikasi Logam pada pembelajaran las oksi-asetillin dengan menggunakan metode Problem-Based Learning (PBL) sesuai Kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dengan instrumen checklist dan rating scale. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) penerapan metode PBL pada pembelajaran Las Oksi Asetilin dapat meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran siswa sebesar 11,20%; 2) peningkatan hasil belajar aspek kognitif setelah menerapkan metode PBL adalah sebesar 5,32% dengan tingkat capaian kemampuan aspek kognitif sebagai berikut: mengingat 86,87%; memahami 77,68%; menerapkan 78,77%; menganalisa 79,61%; menilai 77,97%; dan mencipta 79,16%; 3) siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal pada hasil belajar aspek kognitif setelah menerapkan metode PBL sebesar 91,31%; dan 4) Metode PBL selaras dengan pendekatan saintifik pada Kurikulum 2013.

Natural Science Education aims to help learners to be able to understand the natural surroundings include process, facts and principles that exist in nature. One of the aspects that support the success of understanding science and the process of learning science is the application of science literacy. The study was aimed to determine the effect of Biology in Context learning on cognitive learning outcome of junior high school student grade VIII in science subject. The research was conducted in Bekasi State Junior High School 2 at the first semester of the 2018/2019. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total sample 72 students obtained through the calculation of Slovin formula. The method used is the experimental method, non equivalent control group design. Data collection is done with the instruments of students cognitive learning outcomes. The analysis prerequisite test used is the normality test using Kolmogorov-Smirnov and the homogeneity test using Levene test. Hypothesis tested with the t test and the normalized gain value test. Based on the results of hypothesis test, there is the influence of Biology in context learning on the student cognitive learning outcome. Biology in context learning can improve student cognitive learning outcomes better than guided inquiry learning, which is equal to 66.4% or 0.45 in the calculation using normalized gain.

The study of the correlation between learning motivation and metacognitive skill on students’ cognitive learning outcome simultaneously in classes taught by different learning strategies is still lacking. A correlational research was conducted to investigate the contribution of learning motivation and metacognitive skill simultaneously on cognitive learning outcome of 142 students studying biology in classes experiencing different learning strategies at Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, State University of Makassar, Indonesia. The learning motivation was measured by using motivation questionnaire adapted from Keller (1983), and metacognitive skill was measured integrated with cognitive test. The findings showed that contribution of learning motivation and metacognitive skills simultaneously on cognitive learning outcomes in PBL-RQA, PBL, RQA, and conventional learning strategies was very high. The contribution of metacognitive skills on cognitive learning outcome was much greater than the contribution of learning motivation. This finding research was contrary with the previous studies. Based on the facts related to metacognitive skills, learning should consider seriously the empowerment of metacognitive skills by implementing appropriate learning strategies. Further researches are needed to reveal the correlation between learning motivation on cognitive learning outcomes in different populations and measuring instruments.
