<p><strong>Latar Belakang : </strong>Pandemi <em>Coronavirus Disease </em>-19 (COVID-19) memberikan dampak pada berbagai sektor kehidupan termasuk diantaranya adalah sektor pendidikan. Himbauan mengenai <em>physical distancing </em>selama masa pandemi dan era <em>new normal</em> membuat ranah pendidikan mengoptimalisasikan pembelajaran melalui daring (<em>online</em>). Terdapat berbagai media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran <em>online</em>, salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan <em>instan messaging </em>seperti <em>WhatsApp Grup. </em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan <em>WhatsApp Grup </em>sebagai media pembelajaran selama pandemic COVID-19.</p><p><strong>Metode : </strong>Penelitian bersifat deskriptif analitik dengan pengumpulan data melalui survei <em>online </em>menggunakan <em>google form. </em>Jumlah responden sebanyak 398 mahasiswa yang telah mendapatkan 3 sesi perkuliahan dengan menggunakan <em>WhatsApp Grup. </em>Waktu penelitian berlangsung pada bulan April hingga Mei 2020.</p><p><strong>Hasil : </strong>Berdasarkan penelitian, sebanyak 269 responden (67,6%) menyebutkan <em>WhatsApp Grup </em>efektif sebagai media pembelajaran, dengan 350 responden (87,9%) memiliki nilai post test ≥70. <em>WhatsApp Grup </em>memiliki beberapa keuntungan seperti hemat kuota dan dapat dikombinasikan dengan berbagai fitur pembelajaran. Sedangkan kekurangan dalam media ini adalah mahasiswa mudah terdistraksi dengan <em>chat </em>lain dan sukar diterapkan pada pembelajaran yang melibatkan presentasi mahasiswa.</p><p><strong>Kesimpulan : </strong><em>WhatsApp Grup </em>dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi COVID-19. Meskipun demikian, kombinasi penggunaan teks, gambar, video, dan games perlu dilakukan sehingga dapat memfasilitasi berbagai gaya belajar mahasiswa baik audio maupun visual.</p>

The government has issued a new normal policy with the aim that people can continue to live productively by changing their lifestyle so as to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. One of the measures to prevent and manage COVID-19 is to increase immunity. Online seminars are one of the most important health promotion methods and can be done in the new normal era. This study aims to determine the effect of online seminars on the knowledge and perceptions of the general public. This study used a quasi-experimental pre and post-test design. The sample in this study were all participants who attended online seminars and filled out the pretest and posttest questionnaires. Univariate data analysis shows that the majority of respondents have a mean age of 29.41 years, most of them are women (58.8%), and are students or have not worked (44.7%). Most of the respondents had a good level of initial knowledge about increasing immunity in the face of COVID-19 (68.4%) and a sufficient level of perception of the new normal (49.1%) before attending online seminars. The bivariate data analysis shows that there is a significant increase in knowledge about increasing immunity in the face of COVID-19 in the new normal before and after attending an online seminar with a p-value = 0.000 (p-value <0.05). Online seminars are the right way to promote health in increasing knowledge about immunity to deal with COVID-19 and perceptions of the new normal in ordinary people.

Kerang-kerangan adalah salah satu komoditas perairan tawar dan laut dengan dengan kelezatan dan kandungan nutrisi yang tinggi sehingga diminati sebagai konsumsi masyarakat. Pantai Mutiara merupakan salah satu wilayah pesisir di wilayah Kayong Utara dengan potensi hasil laut yang sangat besar, khususnya kekerangan. Pemanfaatan kekerangan sebagai pangan fungsional yang dapat dijadikan sebagai makanan peningkat imunitas tubuh dalam masa pandemi Covid19 ataupun di masa new normal belum optimal, demikian juga dengan pengolahan kerang yang selain memenuhi kebutuhan juga dapat dijadikan sebagai obyek dagangan. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) bertujuan untuk mensosialisaikan makanan kekerangan sebagai bahan pangan yang sangat berperan dalam meningkatkan system imunitas tubuh sehingga dapat terhindar dari penyakit terutama infeksi virus Covid 19, sekaligus menambah keterampilan peserta dalam mengolah berbagai jenis kekerangan untuk konsumsi keluarga. Metode kegiatan ini adalah dengan ceramah edukatif tentang manfaat mengkonsumsi kekerangan terhadap kesehatan dan praktek mengolah kekerangan sebagai lauk untuk konsumsi keluarga.  Kegiatan  ini dihadiri oleh 15 peserta terdiri dari ibu rumah tangga dan putri remaja, yang antusias mengikuti kegiatan dari ceramah ilmiah edukatif sampai dengan praktek membuat aneka olahan lauk dari kerang darah(Anadara granosa) dan kerang bambu (Solen sp). Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan soal pretest dan post test, menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman materi oleh peserta kegiatan mengalami kenaikan dari persentase 30-45% menjadi 80-90%.

Pembelajaran daring pada Era New Normal diharapkan untuk meningkakan kuantitas dan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang mempunyai potensi intelegensi untuk menghadapi abad ke-21. Sehingga pembelajaran dengan menggunakan e-learning sangat efektif dilakukan untuk pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Tujuan dari pada penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan peningkatan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris Siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran E-Learning. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, yang mana dalam melihat hasil penelitian ini dibagi dalam dua kelas, satu kelas adalah untuk kontrol group dan satu kelas untuk experimental kelas  masing-masing kelas di adakan pre-test dan post test.  Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan siswa sangat bersemangat dan antusias untuk mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan E-learning, seluruh siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran dan aktif mengerjakan latihan yang telah diberikan oleh dosen. Dengan adanya penerapan model pembelajaran E-Leraning tersebut siswa dapat lebih aktif belajar dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Di  kelas experimental nilai yang terendah di dalam pre-test adalah 35 dan yang tertinggi adalah 71, sementara nilai yang terendah di dalam post-test adalah 63 dan nilai yang tertinggi adalah 88. Nilai rata-rata dari pre-test adalah (53,40) dan post test ( 76.00). jadi deviasi adalah 22,6. Dari tabel 2 diatas dapat di lihat bahwa dalam kelas kontrol , skore yang terrendah dalam pre-test adalah 34 dan skor yang tertinggi adalah 72. Sementara peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari pre test (48,66) to post-test (55.33). Dari hasil diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris siswa ketika diterapkan model pembelajarn E-Learning.

Covid-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) caused by Severe Acute Respiratory SyndromeCoronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2) was declared a pandemic on March 11, 2020. Varioussteps have been taken to control the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic that iscurrently happening in Indonesia. Despite all the efforts of the government and themedia to educate the public to implement health protocols, the increase in thenumber of daily cases in Indonesia has not shown a decline. This encouragesresearchers to assess the level of public knowledge because it has an influence onindividual health behaviors that can contribute to pandemic control efforts. Thisresearch uses study method descriptive observational and quasi experimental preand post test design. The population in this study were 317 people who filled out aresearch questionnaire conducted by the IKM-IKK FK Unsri department. The 296respondents who filled out the online questionnaire completely obtained the meanage 32.17 ± 12.64, 73.0% female, 67.6% college graduate, 53.4% Christians, and themajority of jobs are college students and students (39.5%). It was found that theaverage value of respondents knowledge about the Covid-19 health protocolincreased from 4.87 ± 0.10 Becomes 5.12 ± 0.96 Likewise, respondents knowledgeabout health protocols in the new normal era increased from 3.65 ± 0.10 Becomes3.87 ± 0.43. Comparative analysis showed a significant change in knowledge of theCovid-19 health protocol and new normal respondents after attending an onlineseminar, namely p 0.026 and p = 0.030. So, it can be concluded that online seminarshave a significant effect on changing the knowledge of the general public about theCovid-19 and new normal health protocols.

WHO has declared COVID-19 as a pandemic since March 2020. The possibility oftransmission of COVID-19 increases if people gather together, but humans need tobe active and work so that their economic needs are met. Therefore, the governmentis exploring a new normal, which is an order of adaptation to new habits in whichpeople can continue to live productively by changing their life habits. The key to thesuccess of the new normal is community discipline in running it, where knowledge isneeded about the health protocol policies established during the new normal. Onlineseminars are one of the most important health promotion methods and can be donein the new normal era in order to increase public health knowledge. This study aimedto determine the effect of online seminars on public knowledge. This study used aquasi experimental pre and post test design. The sample in this study were allparticipants who attended online seminars and filled out the pretest and posttestquestionnaires. Univariate data analysis showed that the majority of respondentshad a mean age of 31.69 years, most of them were female (80.4%), last educationwas tertiary education (61.8%), unemployed (46.4%), and the good initial knowledgelevel of the health protocol policy at the new normal (83, 5%) before attending onlineseminar. The bivariate data analysis showed that there was a significant increase inknowledge about the new normal health protocol policy before and after attendingan online seminar with a p value = 0.000 (p value <0.05). Online seminars are theright way to promote health in increasing knowledge to prepare the general public forfacing the new normal era.

Mangrove Forest which is located at Karang Talun village, Tritih Kulon sub-district, North Cilacap, Central Java has a various potentials to develop. Its development can be conducted by utilizing local community for participating to improve with mastery of English language. Thus, it is necessary to conduct empowerment of local community through English language training to create qualified ones who can support in tourism field. The purpose of this training is to improve their English language skill and increase their economy and be able to survive by being local tour guide in the New Normal. There were 15 participants consist of traders and some employees who work in Mangrove forest. It was conducted for three days and used some methods, namely preaching method i.e, giving theory and practice learning on each unit of learning and drilling and repetition method. In addition, they were given pre test and post test to evaluate each participant’s skill. From the result, the participant’s skill in pronunciation, vocabulary and practicing dialogue has improved, but it still needs more practices. Drilling and repetition method in learning activity has been success to be applied for participants

Pandemi COVID-19 masih berlangsung hingga kini. Hal ini “memaksa” seluruh masyarakat  untuk menerapkan new normal dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kebiasaan mencuci tangan dengan sabun dibawah air mengalir atau menggunakan hand sanitizer, menggunakan masker di area publik  dan social distancing, menjadi keharusan dalam kehidupan masyarakat saat ini. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan sebagai upaya mengedukasi masyarakat berkenaan dengan new normal tersebut. Kegiatan ini juga ditujukan sebagai upaya peningkatan kemandirian masyarakat dalam pemenuhan produk untuk mencuci yang sangat diperlukan oleh setiap rumah tangga. Rangkaian kegiatan yang dilakukan pada bulan September-Oktober 2020 ini terdiri dari: sosialiasi, pretest, penyuluhan (edukasi) protokol kesehatan pandemi COVID-19, pelatihan pembuatan sediaan untuk mencuci, post-test dan penutupan. Pelatihan pembuatan sediaan untuk mencuci meliputi: pembuatan deterjen cair, pelembut pakaian dan sabun cuci tangan. Dengan pelatihan tersebut masyarakat secara individu atau berkelompok selanjutnya dapat memproduksi sendiri sediaan untuk mencuci untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari mereka. Berdasarkan hasil pretest-post-test kegiatan ini terbukti meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mitra. Masyarakat mitra juga sangat terbantu dan berterima kasih atas terselenggaranya kegiatan ini.

This study answered the following questions: (1) What is the level of acceptability of the materials in terms of: (a) content; (b) objectives; (c) topics; and (d) activities?; (2) What are the mean scores of students in terms of pretest and posttest?; (3) Is there a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test mean scores? The study was conducted to prove that there was a significant difference in the pre-test and post-test among the respondents. The respondents of the study were composed of three (4) sections at Sampaguita Village National High School to test the effectiveness of using MELC-based Supplementary Learning Materials in Physical Education 9. In this study, random sampling method was used in choosing the respondents. The researcher made questionnaires validated by different experts from the same school where the study was conducted in the District of San Pedro, Schools Division of Laguna. Based on the data presented and interpreted in Chapter 4, the overall statistical data revealed that (1) The Level of Acceptability of Supplementary Learning Materials in Terms of Content, Objectives, Topics and Activities as perceived by the students was “Highly Acceptable”. (2) During the pretest stage, the overall interpretation was Fairly Satisfactory; (3) During the posttest stage, the overall interpretation was Very Satisfactory; and (4) For the difference between the pretest and posttest it was found out that the mean difference between the pre-test and post-test of section Emerald was 3.30 with a t-value of 16.732 and p-value of 0.000 and with an analysis of Significant. For section Jade, the mean difference was 3.43 with a t-value of 16.997 and p-value of 0.000 and with an analysis of Significant. For section Jasper, the mean difference was 1.47 with a t-value of 16.323 and a p-value of 0.000 and with an analysis of Significant. For section Sunstone, the mean difference was 4.94 with a t-value of 26.876 and a p-value of 0.000 and with an analysis of Significant. Based on the findings, the following were conclusions derived from the data and results of the study presented, analyzed, and interpreted: (1) The MELC-based Supplementary Learning Materials had very effective contents, objectives, topics, and activities; (2) The students showed improved achievement after using MELC-based Supplementary Learning Materials; (3) The MELC-based Supplementary Learning Materials was an effective tool in teaching Physical Education during the new normal; (4) The Performance Level in Pretest of sections Emerald, Jade, Jasper and Sunstone was considered deficient before using the MELC-based Supplementary Learning Materials; (5) The Level of Performance in Posttest of sections Emerald, Jade, Jasper and Sunstone was described as Highly Acceptable. This meant that the use of MELC-based Supplementary Learning Materials helps the students in understanding the lessons in Physical Education based on the most essential learning competencies provided by the Department of Education; (6) There were overall significant difference in the result of the pretest and posttest using MELC-based Supplementary Learning Materials in Physical Education. The overall result in this study was highly significant; and (7) During the use of MELC-based Supplementary Learning Materials, the scores of the students were high showing that there was an improvement when it came to the learning outcomes of the respondents. Hence, the use of this MELC-based Supplementary Learning Materials was effective. Based on the conclusions formulated from the findings, the following recommendations were given; (1) For students’ better academic performance, MELC-based Supplementary Learning Materials may be used as alternative mode learning delivery for students who are not capable of having high end gadgets for online modality. By using this, students need not go out of their houses in finding internet shops to search for the given activity instead the answers are incorporated in the reading materials attached to the supplementary learning materials; (2) Teachers may adopt this MELC-based Supplementary Learning Materials in handling students under Modular Distance Learning (MDL); (3) The School Administrators may provide allotted budget to produce these MELC-based Supplementary Learning Materials for students who are under Modular Distance Learning (MDL); (4) School Administrators may conduct seminars to assist teachers and make this kind of learning materials suited for each type of learners; and (5) Future Researcher may use this study to help improve the production of learning materials aligned in the New Normal Set Up of Education due to pandemic.

Covid-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) is a disease transmitted between animals andhumans (zoonosis) by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2).A total of 70.736 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and 3.417 deaths have been reported bythe Ministry of Health (9 July 2020). Various steps have been taken to control thespread of the Covid-19 pandemic that is currently happening in Indonesia, one of whichis health promotion. During the Covid-19 pandemic, it was suggested that educationalmethods be better done online. So, this study is interested in assessing the effect ofthe educational method with online seminars through WhatsApps on the knowledge ofthe general public about covid-19 and the new normal policy. This study uses aresearch design quasi experimental pre and post test design by comparing theknowledge of respondents before and after observation. Observations were made whenrespondents attended online seminars about covid-19 and new normal via theWhatsApp group. The population in this study were 416 people who were members ofthe online seminar group conducted by the IKM-IKK FK Unsri department. In thisstudy, 171 respondents met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of theunivariate analysis regarding the characteristics of the respondents obtained anaverage age 28.61 years, female (61.4%), and not yet working (45.6%), includingstudents and college students. It was found that the level of knowledge of respondentsabout Covid-19 increased from 43.9% to 77.8%. Likewise, the respondents’ goodknowledge about the new normal increased from 9.9% to 42.1%. Comparative analysisshowed a significant change in knowledge about Covid-19 and new normal respondentsafter attending an online seminar, namely p= 0.000 and p= 0.000. So, it can beconcluded that online seminars have a significant effect on changes in the knowledgeof the general public about Covid-19 and the new normal.
