Peer-led workshops in General Chemistry at the University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) were affected by COVID-19 restrictions during the 2020-2021 academic year. Most Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL) workshops were conducted in person, but with the difference that protocols of distancing had to be observed, and a few were conducted online, so adjustments were necessary to prepare Peer Leaders to conduct their workshops in both types of settings. The facets of the modified PLTL program were supported by the online preparation for facilitation and chemistry content The results of an examination of critical incidents (Brookfield, 1995) are shared here. This qualitative examination of Peer Leaders’ experiences was undertaken because of its exploration of formative events. Through the responses to several rounds of questions about their experiences, Peer Leaders acknowledged the reality of dealing with Covid-19 restrictions as well as their preparation via a weekly online seminar. This paper, co-authored with Peer Leaders, examines the process of online training and facilitating workshops during the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters at UTPB.

Jambi MSMEs are one of the MSMEs that need support in dealing with this pandemic. FTI Untar helped several Jambi SMEs who needed assistance to increase their knowledge in running a business during this pandemic. These MSMEs also need assistance in overcoming problems in running a business by utilizing social media. Although there are many social media used in running businesses in various fields, it should be realized that not all MSMEs can directly apply the use of social media. Limited human resources, limited ability to use technology, geographical conditions that are not possible or the availability of products that can be met affect the ability of MSMEs to use social media. Eleven Jambi UMKM partners who are members of group B1 need assistance in using and maximizing the use of social media to support their businesses. In this service, assistance is provided in the form of material presentation about E-Commerce which can be started from the use of social media and choosing the right solution in the use of social media. The presentation of the material is carried out in the form of an online seminar that conveys the differences between E-Commerce and the various applications that can support the technology. Suggestions regarding possible solutions are given in the form of discussions with each partner who attends this online meeting room. The expected end result is that eleven partners can gain knowledge about whether they are currently using E-Commerce technology. In addition, it is hoped that partners can help to think about whether solutions for using social media can be carried out and how they can maximize the use of social media.UMKM Jambi merupakan salah satu UMKM yang membutuhkan dukungan dalam menghadapi masa pandemi ini.

The Pandemic had a big impact on education in Indonesia and also in the world. In early 2020, during this pandemic, face-to-face meetings have turned into virtual or online meetings for both the learning process and seminars or workshops. The rapid development of technology supports this change in the world of education, this can be seen from the number of online seminars conducted to improve the competence of lecturers or teachers. The development of this online seminar allows the circulation of information that is increasingly large, fast, and almost unlimited by time and space. This causes a large amount of information to be scattered in the virtual world in various fields. With this very fast information technology, trillions of bytes of data are created every day from various sources such as on social media, especially those related to applications that are often used in website-based seminar media. This is called unstructured big data. In this study, big data will be implemented to classify educators' engagement of online seminar participants during an early pandemic. The activity stages in big data management and data processing support are acquired, accessed, analytical, and applied. The method for this study is the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) to classify the engagement of teachers and  lecturers an online seminar.  The results of the training error obtained from ANFIS are 0.273482 with the ANFIS structure 4-12-12-12-1 or 4 inputs, 12 hidden layers, and 1 output.

At the seminar, the sale of seminar tickets is done manually, that is, by registering seminar participants. Where in this activity the participants have to manually fill in the data needed to create a certificate at the end of the activity. Accordingly, internet technology can be used for online seminar registration, making it easier for seminar organizers to know the results of the accumulated seminars. In this study, a website-based seminar ticket sales system will be developed as a seminar ticket sales affiliate system, namely by helping seminar organizers to promote or market seminar ticket sales. By using this application, information becomes easier to convey and obtain, both seminar organizers and seminar participants. To provide better activity performance. The system is built using an open source PHP codeigniter framework and uses the apostolico algorithm applied to the seminar category search process on database storage by generating a list of seminar category options based on the keywords entered.
