The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of achievement motivation and ability to think critically with ability to write narrative. This study is the correlation was conducted in the public elementary school district subdistrict Cibitung  Bekasi. Samples were obtained by simple random sampling technique. The sample size was 100 people with 25 people each at any public elementary school. This study used a survey method with a correlation technique (connectedness). The result show that there is a positive relationship between: (1) achievement motivation with ability to write narrative; (2) ability to think critically with ability to write narrative; (3) achievement motivation and ability to think critically with ability to write narrative. Based on the findings in this study, the authors suggest that educators approached by students using interesting and appropriate learning media so as to enhance the achievment motivation and ability to think critically of students and to facilitate studentsnin writing narrative process activities.   Keywords: achievement motivation, ability to think critically, ability to write narrative

Abstract. This research aims to determine the factors that influence the growing interest in learning of students in Athira Makassar Islamic Elementary school in class 4.1. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive survey method. The population of the research was 74 fourth grade students of Athira Makassar Islamic Elementary school, consist of 4 classes, the sampling using simple random sampling technique, so that class 4.1 was chosen as a sample of 20 students. Data were analyzed using statistical data analysis technique which consisted of editing, data tabulated stages, then presented and then presented in table form and described descriptively. The result showed a percentage of learning method 14,41%, the geographical location of the school 12,56%, phisycal indikator 11,78%, learning models 11,74%, talent 9,18%, learning models 8,54%, indikator of needs 6,28%, social competence 5,97%, building indikator 5,77%, personality competence 5,43%, and pedagogic competence 5,30%. It was concluded that the learning method was the most influential factor in the growth of student`s interest in learning at Athira Makassar Islamic Elementary school grade 4.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi tumbuhnya minat belajar siswa di SD Islam Athirah Makassar kelas 4.1. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei deskriptif.Populasi penelitian adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas 4 SD  Islam Athirah Baruga Makassar berjumlah 74 orang siswa yang terdiri dari empat kelas, penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling, sehingga terpilih kelas 4.1 sebagai sampel yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik yang terdiri dari tahap penyuntingan, input data, dan tahap tabulasi,selanjutnya dipersentasekan kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase metode pembelajaran 14,41%, letak geografis sekolah (12,56%), indikator fisik (11,78%), model pembelajaran (11,74%), bakat (9,18%), model pembelajaran (8,54%), indikator kebutuhan (6,28%), kompetensi sosial (5,97%), indikator bangunan (5,77%), kompetensi kepribadian (5,43%), dan kompetensi pedagogik (5,30%).Disimpulkan bahwa, metode pembelajaran adalah faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap tumbuhnya minat belajar siswa di SD Islam Athirah Makassar kelas 4.

This study aims to find out the relationship between the interest in becoming an elementary school teacher and the teaching readiness of PGSD FKIP UNRI students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. This research was conducted at PGSD FKIP UNRI which involved 118 active students of PGSD FKIP UNRI class of 2018. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire with a sampling technique, namely total sampling. Total sampling is a sampling technique in which all members of the population are sampled in order to obtain representative research results. The validity test of the questionnaire used the product moment correlation technique, while the reliability test used the Alpha Cronbach formula. As for the prerequisite analysis test, the normality test and linearity test were carried out. Then do the hypothesis testing with the product moment correlation test. The level of significance of the analysis results was set at 5%. This data analysis technique was carried out with the help of the SPSS version 21 program. The results in this study can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between interest in being an elementary school teacher and Teaching Readiness of PGSD FKIP UNRI students class of 2018 which is shown by the results of the correlation coefficient r count (0,506) > r table (0,180).

ABSTRACT. Background. One of the causes of the low hand washing behavior in public elementary school students is due to the limited learning media used. The Educational Game Tool (EGT), specifically the snake ladder game, can be used as an alternative learning media about hand washing behavior in public elementary school students. This study aims to determine the effect of using EGT on hand washing behavior of public elementary school students in Denpasar City. Methods. This pre-experimental study used the design of the One Group Pre-Post Test Only and was carried out at SDN 3 Tonja. The sample in this study were 30 first grade students who were selected using a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument uses the Hand Washing Questioner and a snake ladder game developed by researchers. Result. The test results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank test showed that the handwashing behavior of all participants significantly increased after treatment (M = 15.5, p <0.001). Discussion. A pleasant EGT makes it easy for children to understand the positive behavior they want to instill. While carrying out this game, children begin to accept and be ready to carry out proper hand washing behavior in their daily lives. Through the games given, information about proper hand washing behavior is acceptable. Conclusion. EGT has an effect on increasing handwashing behavior in elementary school students.Keywords: educational game tool, hand washing behavior, elementary school students

Introduction: Caries is the main oral cavity problem in children. One of the factors causing caries is dental plaque. The purpose of this research is to know the plaque index of 7-year-old children at Public Elementary School Coblong 1, 2, 3, 6 and Salman Al-Farisi Elementary School Bandung City in the year 2011. Method: The type of research is descriptive research with survey method. A total of 143 samples at Public Elementary School Coblong 1, 2, 3, 6 and 112 samples at Salman Al-Farisi Elementary School were obtained based on total sampling technique. Result: This research shows that the average plaque index of children age 7 years at Public Elementary School Coblong 1, 2, 3, 6 Bandung City in the year 2011 amounted to 1.37 and children age 7 years at Salman Al-Farisi Elementary School Bandung City in the year 2011 amounted to 0.74. Conclusions: Children aged 7 years in Public Elementary School Coblong 1, 2, 3, 6 and Salman Al-Farisi Elementary School Bandung City in 2011 has fair criteria of plaque index.

This study aims to determine the formation of student leadership characters through the subjects of Islamic cultural history at MAN 1 Bogor Regency. The method used in this research is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 40% of the total population of 150 students of class X (60 respondents) using simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires (questionnaires) and documentation. In the validity test of the 20 items, there are 18 questions that are proven valid and the reliability test results of the coefficient of 0.703 are declared reliable. Analyst requirements test is done by linearity test and normality test. Data analysis used the product moment correlation technique and after calculating the Pearson correlation, the rxy yield was 0.817 at an index of 0.80-1,000, which means that there is a strong correlation between the formation of student leadership characters and the history of Islamic culture at MAN 1, Bogor Regency. The results of the study were indicated by the tcount value of 10,658 and the ttable was found to be 1,672. So the conclusion is that tcount > ttable (10,658 > 1,672). If tcount > ttable then Ho is rejected, meaning that it is statistically significant, from the results of the t test a significant value less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) means that there is a significant relationship between the formation of leadership character in class X students and the subject of cultural history. The purpose of the study is to find out the relationship among arm muscles explosive power, body core flexibility, achievement motivation and discus throw skill. In this case, the samples totaled 50 students from study program of physical education, faculty of pedagogy and science education "Syiah Kuala" University involving 100 (male) students selected by simple random sampling technique. This research using survey method, quantitative approach and correlational technique. The research concludes (1) it has positive relationship between arm power explosive power and discus throw skill (2) it has relationship significantly between body core flexibility and discus throw skill. (3) the relationship is positive between motivation and discus throw skill, (4) it has positive relationship among arm muscles explosive power, achievement motivation and discus throw skill.   Keywords: explosive; flexibility; motivation and discus.

The objective of this study was to identify learning styles of students. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with survey method. The variable in this study is a single variable , namely the identification of student learning styles. The study population is students of Guidance and Counseling FKIP Pattimura University totaling 388 people. Samples were used as samples in the amount of 10% of the population of 39 people. The sampling technique using Simple Random Sampling. Learning styles questionnaire prepared based on the opinion of De Poter & Hernacki is used as a data collection tool. Learning styles identified as visual learning style, auditorial learning style, and kinesthetic learning style. Data analysis techniques in this study is the descriptive statistical analysis methods. Based on the survey results revealed that students of guidance and counseling FKIP Pattimura University has a tendency to one learning style. Of the 39 students found that 6 students had a tendency visual learning style, 20 students have a tendency to auditory learning style, 1 student has a tendency kinestheticlearning style, and 12 students have a tendency to mix between learning styles and learning styles visual auditorylearning styles.

This research was conducted to determine the relationship between the quality of the Principal's leadership and organizational culture with the performance of SMAN 28 Tangerang District employees. The study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational survey method, using correlation theory which is about product moment. Research data collection techniques from respondents carried out through questionnaires or questionnaires. The sample population was 103 employees in each section of SMAN 28 Tangerang, with simple random sampling technique. The magnitude of the effect of leadership quality and organizational culture together on employee performance by 87.2% This shows the higher the quality of leadership and organizational culture, the better the performance of employees, and vice versa the lower the quality of leadership and organizational culture will have an impact for employee performance.

The research aimed were to find out the correlation between classroom management and student’s interest. This research uses quantitative with survey method that apply correlation technique there are two variable in this research, namely dependent variable and independent variable. The independent variable is classroom management while dependent variable is students interest the population of this research as two classes of ABA UMI year 2016-2017. The samples of this research are 20 respondents taken through purposive sampling technique . in analysis the data of this research, the write used ( Correlation ). The findings of this study shows that there is any significant correlation between classroom management and student’s interest at the second grade of social class ABA UMI. This is proved by the value of the pearson product moment is -025 it means the correlation. And classroom management and student’s interest is weak. And correlation  classroom management has an important role in learning process because if there is in classroom management the student’s will not be interest in learning process.

Chemical and Microbiological Quality Characteristics of Dried Octopus (Octopus sp.) Marketed in North Konawe Regency Southeast Sulawesi ABSTRACT         The aim of this study was to determine the characteristics of chemical composition (water, ash, protein, fat, and carbohydrate) and total bacteria (TPC) of dried Octopus. Data analysis of this study used descriptive analysis. The sampling technique of this study are used simple random sampling and used the survey method. The results of the highest chemical composition of the treatment was found at water content  S1 19.89%, ash S3 13.63%, protein S2 46.99%, fat S3 5.82% and carbohydrate S2 10.19%.  The best Total Plate Count (TPC) result was found at S2 3.8 × 104 Cfu/g Keywords: Chemical Test, Octopus (Octopus sp.) Dry, and Total Plate Count (TPC).ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik komposisi kimia (kadar air, kadar abu, kadar protein, kadar lemak, dan kadar karbohidrat) dan total bakteri (TPC) terhadap gurita kering. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah simple random sampling. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode survei. Hasil penelitian komposisi kimia perlakuan tertinggi kadar air terdapat pada S1 19.89%, kadar abu tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan S3 13.63%, kadar protein perlakuan tertinggi terdapat pada S2 46.99%, kadar lemak perlakuan tertinggi terdapat pada  S3 5.82% dan kadar karbohidrat perlakuan tertinggi terdapat pada S2 10.19%. Hasil Uji Total Plate Count (TPC) terendah terdapat pada S2 3.8×104 Cfu/g.Kata kunci: Gurita (Octopus sp.) kering, Total Plate Count (TPC) dan Uji Kimia.
