Scratch, a kind of visual programming software, has been widely used in instruction for primary school children. Scratch constructs a digital world for children to design, develop, and create coursework in which their creative thinking is fostered. Different instructional methods have been designed and implemented to stimulate children’s creative thinking skills through their coursework. This study investigated whether scaffolding construction with mind mapping promoted children’s creative thinking in a Scratch course. Two groups of 84 fifth-grade pupils participated in the study. The experimental group of 44 students adopted the scaffolding construction with mind mapping in the Scratch course, while the control group of 40 students did not use the mind mapping method. The Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking-Figural (TTCT-F) and Torrance Creative Personality Self-Report Scale were used three times over the 16-week learning period. The results show that learning in the Scratch course promoted the children’s creative thinking. The difference between the two groups indicates that mind mapping was beneficial to improve the children’s creative thinking.

As technology advances, learning materials in learning are expected to be able to apply technological developments and practice the skills needed in the 21st century, namely communication and creative thinking. E-book, which was developed with a mind mapping strategy, is equipped with various features that can support student creativity. This study aims to produce an insect encyclopedia e-book with a mind mapping strategy to practice creative thinking skills for class X Senior High School which is declared effective. The effectiveness of the insect encyclopedia e-book in terms of learning outcomes, mind mapping skills and student responses. Creative thinking skill can be used to solve the problems and develop the idea. The method used is a modified research and development (R&D) method. The data collection technique was through validation, observation, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique was carried out quantitatively. Based on the results of the study, the average score of student learning outcomes was 82.60% and the N gain value was 0.50 in the medium category. The average score of students' mind mapping skills in the high category. And reviewed based on the skills of making mind mapping with good categories and based on student responses positively.

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing PBL integrated with STEM in the materials of temperature and its changes in creative thinking skills and learning outcomes. The research method was a quasi-experimental research design with non-equivalent pretest and posttest control group. Samples were selected by purposive sampling technique. Data collection instruments were creative thinking skills and knowledge tests. The analysis technique was a different test (t-test) to determine differences in the ability to think creatively and learning outcomes aspects of knowledge, and the N-gain test to determine the effectiveness of the learning method applied. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there were differences in learning outcomes and creative thinking abilities between the control and the experimental classes (2) the effectiveness test identified that the science learning using PBL integrated with STEM is quite effective in increasing the ability to think creatively.

The learning closely associated with the use of the brain as the centred of mental activity begin from the understanding, processing, until inference information. To optimize learning outcomes, the learning process using whole-brain approach. Creative thinking is a mental activity to create relationships continuous that were found the right combination includes aspects of cognitive, affective, and metacognitive. Thepurposesof this research to reveal of students creative thinking skills in the material the fermentation through mind mapping. This research is descriptive statistics which describe the student’s creative thinking skills that have, without giving specific mind map treatment. The subject is students of biology education semesters V. The results of analysis data showed that the scores of creative thinking skills students are: Fluency(Score 3; 21, 73%.Score 2; 39, 13%. Score 1; 39,13%). Flexibility(Score 3; 21, 73%.Score 2; 30, 43%. Score 1; 47, 82%) dan Originality(Score 3; 0%. Score 2; 0%. Score 1; 17.39%.Based on data, it can be concluded that the students have not be able to bring their creative ideas through mind mapping

The learning process of 2013 curriculum emphasizes on the students’ skill, it also demands them to be more active and have extraordinary abilities such as creative thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to describe the feasibility of the Students’ Worksheet with the mind mapping strategy to improve the students’ creative thinking skills on stoichiometry material. There are tree aspects which were observed in the students’ worksheets to measure the feasibility, those are content, presentation, and language. This study was conducted based on 4-D development model which has been modified into 3-D (define, design, and develop). The limited trial was implemented on 12 students of X Science 2 in Senior High School 3 Mojokerto. Furthermore, the results showed that from the three aspects of students’ worksheet which were content, presentation and language were categorized to be very feasible with the percentage 91.88%;93.55%;86.67 % . The students’ activities and responses were the data that obtained through the limited trials with the percentage 97.62% and 88.02% of each. Moreover, the increasing of the students’ creative thinking skills and learning outcomes can be seen from the N-Gain value which were 0.74 and 0.75, and belonged to high category. Based on the results it can be concluded that the students’ worksheet with a mind mapping strategy was feasible and able to improve the students’ creative thinking skills and learning outcomes on stoichiometry material

The problem in this study is the low of student’s learning outcomes of IV grade in MIN 6 Medan in fikih. It is caused by the ways of teacher’s teaching that needs to be modified, so it causes the student do not desire in following the lesson. This study is conducted to improve student’s learning outcome of IV grade in MIN 6 Medan in fikih by using mind mapping method. It uses Action Classroom Research consisting of two cycles, and every cycle consists of four lines, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out qualitatively and quantitatively and questionnaire data is used to see the successful implementation of mind mapping methods in the classroom in order to improve student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study, student learning outcome has increased where the average in pre-test is 39.04 then increation in the post-test cycle I is 75.58 and increation again in the post-test cycle II is 91.88. The percentage of students' classical completeness is 4.17% in the pre-test, 75% in the first cycle, and 95.83% in the second cycle. Based on the research result found, the conclusion is that the implementation of learning using the mind mapping method can improve student learning outcomes in fikih taught by teachers to students at the school.

Project-based learning is one of the popular and promising approaches in engineering education. The current study reports on a curriculum that was designed and implemented by a graduate school to help students gain knowledge and creative thinking skills through collaboration between different majors during industrial projects in a graduate course on home appliance engineering. The students selected the topics, planned the project, conducted research, produced a prototype, and presented their results under the guidance of a group of advisors consisting of professors, technical advisors, and industry mentors. A quantitative analysis showed that this approach was effective in improving the students’ attitude toward engineering. Furthermore, a qualitative analysis showed that this learning method helped students learn how to communicate and present effectively, to flexibly approach projects, and to understand the practices of industrial research. Based on the findings, the current study discusses how the project-based learning helped students advance.
