Aquaponics means a culture that is very necessary to be applied, because in this system it is a combination of fish farming techniques as well as plant enlargement techniques by hydroponics. This research develops a smart aquaponics system that can control and increase the acidity level, air temperature, fish feed, and the installation of a camera to monitor fish development. In this system, there are sensors installed to retrieve data. Thus, air quality and circulation is well maintained. The results obtained from this study are to test an automatic feed system that runs well for each experiment, with an accurate proportion of 93.33%, and PH measurements that have been calibrated run well, the comparison of manual measurements using the PH meter measurement sensor gets the proportion 97, 83. for the meter Flow measurement results obtained a proportion of 91.02%, then for plant development every week got pretty good results, in the first week the plants grew 1cm after sowing, 3cm for the 2nd week, 7cm for the second week. -3. The results of measuring the weight of fish using image processing  are not much different from manual measurements, the length of the fish is measured manually, it is 7 cm, and in the image it is 5.6 cm, the weight of manual fish is 11g, in the image it is 11.66g.   Keywords: Aquaponics; Camera; Android; image processing, flow.   Abstrak. The aryicle presents the results of a comparative study of the biochemical composition of earthworms of dendrobene and prospector rocks, the peculiarities of their cultivation and their use for feeding when growing juvenile tilapia and clary catfish. The experience of cultivating earthworms of two breeds using the improved methods of foreign authors is described. The results of a study of the biochemical composition of cultivated objects that determine their nutritional value for feeding fish are presented. The fish-breeding and biological indicators of juvenile tilapia and clary catfish, obtained during the cultivation of dendrobene and prospector in fish farming in the Almaty region (VI fish-breeding zone) during worm feeding, are analyzed. A comprehensive analysis of the studied indicators made it possible to assign a certain rating place to each worm breed in relation to its use as fish feed.

Feed is one of the most important external signals in fish that stimulates its feeding behavior and growth. The intake of feed is the main factor determining efficiency and cost, maximizing production efficiency in a fish farming firm. The physiological mechanism regulating food intake lies between an intricate connection linking central and peripheral signals that are unified in the hypothalamus consequently responding to the release of appetite-regulating genes that eventually induce or hinder appetite, such as apelin; a recently discovered peptide produced by several tissues with diverse physiological actions mediated by its receptor, such as feed regulation. Extrinsic factors have a great influence on food intake and feeding behavior in fish. Under these factors, feeding in fish is decontrolled and the appetite indicators in the brain do not function appropriately thus, in controlling conditions which result in the fluctuations in the expression of these appetite-relating genes, which in turn decrease food consumption. Here, we examine the research advancements in fish feeding behavior regarding dietary selection and preference and identify some key external influences on feed intake and feeding behavior. Also, we present summaries of the results of research findings on apelin as an appetite-regulating hormone in fish. We also identified gaps in knowledge and directions for future research to fully ascertain the functional importance of apelin in fish.

In this paper we have proposed a technique as a testing method for the instrument of measuring the amount of fuel filled in motorbike fuel tank. The instrument used a fluid flow meter that can be used easily by consumers to check the accuracy of gas station filler gauge. The study aims to develop a prototype of fluid flow measurement devices and a digital reporting system through IoT. The research phase consists of designing a fluid flow equipment, designing a color detection device, and designing a reporting system with IoT. Reporting application uses the smartphone system as a display of measurement results from flow meters and color detectors. Testing the function of the accuracy of the flow sensor on the tool is done by using a calibration factor. The output of measurements are fuel volume discharge, type of fluid and the result are shown on smartphone which connected to the internet for its reporting system.

Weather and climate have a fundamental impact on plant development. Monitoring key observables, e.g. temperature and precipitation, is paramount for the interpretation of agricultural experiments and simulation of plant development. Whereas the presence of appropriate sensors in a research environment can be expected, the situation can be different in commercial agricultural settings. Local air temperature from online weather forecasts is investigated as a substitute for local weather station data. Hourly air temperature forecast and station data for several locations in Scotland and North East England are aggregated into daily air temperature values spanning a period of several months. Dates for key growth stages using temperatures from weather stations and weather forecast data are compared. For the examples discussed here the date differences in modelled key growth stages did not exceed 3 days indicating that temperature forecast data is suitable for farm-specific applications.

Radiative properties of interior surfaces can affect not only the building heat flux but also the indoor environment, the latter of which has not been thoroughly investigated. The aim of this study is to analyse the effect of surface emissivity on indoor air and surface temperature distributions in a test cabin with reflective interior surfaces. This was done by comparing experimental and simulation data of the test cabin with that of a normal cabin. This study employs transient computational fluid dynamics (CFD) using re-normalisation group (RNG) k– ε model, surface-to-surface radiation model and an enhanced wall function. Boundary conditions were assigned to exterior surfaces under variable outdoor conditions. The numerical and the measurement results indicate that using interior reflective surfaces will affect the indoor air temperature distribution by increasing the vertical temperature gradient depending on the time of the day. CFD simulations with high spatial resolution results show increased interior surface temperature gradients consistent with the increased vertical air temperature gradient. The influence of reflective surfaces is potentially greater with higher indoor surface temperature asymmetry. The vertical indoor air temperature gradient and surface temperatures are important parameters for indoor thermal comfort.

Objectives of the Study: The study examined the profitability of catfish production in Enugu –East L.G.A of Enugu state. Sample Size and Sampling Procedure: A purposive sampling technique was employed in the selection of 50 respondents used for the study. Method of Data Collection: Data for the study were collected using structured questionnaires and interview schedules. Method of Data Analysis: Descriptive statistics, gross-margin analysis and profitability ratios were used in analyzing the data. Results and Discussion: The result of the analysis showed that majority of the fish farmers (70%) were males and within the age range of 31 - 50 years. The result equally revealed that majority of the farmers (86%) had at least a National Diploma with about 5 -14 years fish farming experience. The result further indicated that cost of feed and fingerlings were the major cost component involved in catfish production. The gross margin analysis and profitability ratios revealed that catfish production is very profitable in the study area with a net income of about N576, 667 and a BCR of 1.6. The study however revealed that the high cost of farm inputs and poor credit facilities were the major constraints to catfish production in the area. Recommendations: It was recommended that more fish feed producers be encouraged into the business to reduce the high cost of feed.
