This study focuses on the comparison between e-learning methods and conventional method (face-to-face) to find out the weaknesses and strengths of e-learning applied at Muhammadiyah University in Sidoarjo. E-Learning used in this study is Edmodo. The research method in this study used Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling which is taken proportionally for each cluster. Based on the results of the study it was found that the conventional method (face to face) is still considered better by students than e-learning because it is easier to understand the material and easier to interact with the teacher. However, e-learning itself also has advantages compared to conventional, namely in terms of flexibility in lecture time and ease of collecting assignments

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketepatan siswa dalam memilih warna dan komposisi yang sesuai pada karya sulam teknik sulam bebas dengan motif flora dan fauna. Adapun populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII-7 SMP Negeri 16 Medan dengan sampel 3 karya siswa dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan karya sulam yang diteliti dan dinilai berdasarkan unsur seni rupa yang telah ditentukan yaitu warna dan komposisi. Secara keseluruhan kemampuan siswa SMP Negeri 16 medan dalam praktik menyulam dikatakan Cukup Baik. Siswa sudah memiliki kemampuan dalam menyatukan  motif-motif  yang  akan disulam  dan   hasil sulamnya pun rata-rata sudah  mendekati kategori cukup.Kata Kunci: sulam, warna, komposisi.AbstractThis study aims to determine the accuracy of students in choosing the right color and composition in the embroidery work of free embroidery work of free embroidery techniques with flora and fauna motifs. As for the population used in this study were all students of class VIII-7 junior high school 16 terrain with a sample of 3 students’ work using a random sampling technique. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by describing the work of embroidery that is examined and assessed based on predetermined fine art elements, namely color and composition. As a whole the ability of 16 field students in the field of embroidery is said to be quite good. Students already have the ability to unify the motif to be embroidered and results of embroidery are on average already close to the sufficient category. Keywords: embroidery, color, composition.

<p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh kemampuan berhitung dan kemampuan menyederhanakan bentuk aljabar terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah Trigonometri. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi hubungan. Populasi penelitian seluruh mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika IKIP PGRI Pontianak yang mengambil mata kuliah Trigonometri tahun akademik 2017/2018 sebanyak 100 orang yang terbagi menjadi 3 kelas yaitu kelas AP, BP, dan CP. Sampel adalah mahasiswa kelas AP dengan teknik <em>cluster random sampling</em>. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan menghitung, menyederhanakan bentuk aljabar, dan menyelesaikan masalah Trigonometri dalam bentuk esai yang terdiri dari 5 butir soal untuk masing-masing tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji parametrik. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara kemampuan berhitung terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah Trigonometri sebesar 23,4%; (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara kemampuan menyederhanakan bentuk aljabar terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah Trigonometri sebesar 19,9%; dan (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif secara bersama-sama antara kemampuan berhitung dan kemampuan menyederhanakan bentuk aljabar terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah Trigonometri sebesar 29%.</p><p> </p><p align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The research aims to measure the effect of the ability to count and to simplify the form of algebra on the ability to solve Trigonometric problems. The research method was descriptive with a form of relationship study research. The research population was all students of Mathematics Education of IKIP PGRI Pontianak taking Trigonometry courses in the academic year 2017/2018 were 100 people divided into 3 classes, namely AP, BP, and CP classes. Samples are AP class students with a cluster random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used the ability to calculate tests, simplify the form of algebra, and solve Trigonometry problems in the form of essays consisting of 5 items for each test. Data analysis techniques used parametric. The results of the research: (1) There is a positive influence between the ability to count on the ability to solve Trigonometry problems by 23.4%; (2) There is a positive influence between the ability to simplify the form of algebra to the ability to solve Trigonometry problems by 19.9%; and (3) There is a positive influence jointly between the ability to count and the ability to simplify the form of algebra on the ability to solve trigonometric problems by 29%.</em></p><p> </p><p> </p>

This study aims to determine the perceptions of class XII students towards volleyball learning. To find out students' perceptions, the researchers conducted indicators, such as internal factors including attention, mood, experience and memory, while external factors included the uniqueness and contrast of the stimulus, the size and placement of objects or stimuli, motion or movement. The research method uses a survey method using a questionnaire. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population used was the entire class XII. The sampling technique used was the Cluster Random Sampling Technique, Specification Probability Sampling. The sample in this study is one class of five classes. The instrument used in this study used a questionnaire. The score used is the Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that the perceptions of class XII students towards volleyball learning at SMK Sunan Gunung Jati Karawang are in the "very good" category with a percentage of 13.3%, in the "good" category with a percentage of 37.7%, in the "enough" category with a percentage of 35.7%, in the "very sufficient" category with a percentage of 13.3%. The conclusion from the research results of students' perceptions of class XII on volleyball learning at SMK Sunan Gunung Jati Karawang which was obtained using a questionnaire with a percentage of 37.7% being in the "good" category. in the "very sufficient" category with a percentage of 13.3%. <p class="BodyArtikel">This study aims to uncover what extent of the students’ expectation of English as a medium of instruction (EMI) used by the English teacher in teaching English at senior high schools in Palangka Raya, Indonesia. A survey research method was applied. The survey was conducted at the four schools: MAN Model, MA Muslimat NU, SMAN 4, and SMKN 2 in Palangka Raya. To collect the data, the study employs the questionnaire with 10 items given to 134 students of the second grade taken from one class of each of the schools. It was used the cluster random sampling technique to take the samples. The items were designed for evaluating the factual, behavioral, and attitudinal condition of EMI in the English classroom. As a result of the study, it is shown that most of the students agree of EMI dominantly applied by the English teacher in the teaching of English subject. By implementing EMI in this classroom, it can increase students’ English ability with appropriate English standard, motivate them to learn English, improve their confidence to speak English, help them to comprehend English textbook or article, and assist them to understand the international culture.</p>

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Gadingrejo dalam menulis teks anekdot berdasarkan struktur dan kebahasaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dimana untuk memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian terkait dengan kemampuan abstak sisecara holistic dan dengan cara deskriptif dalam bentuk kata-kata dan bahasa, pada suatu konteks khusus yang alamiah dan dengan memanfaatkan berbagai metode ilmiah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 sampel dalam satu kelas yaitu kelas X IPA 4 denganteknikpengambilansampelberupa cluster random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kemampuan siswa kelas X IPA 4 SMA Negeri 2 Gadingrejo dalam menulis teks anekdot berdasarkan struktur dan kebahasaan diperoleh nilai dengan kategori tinggi 2 siswa, perolehan nilai dengan kategori cukup 25 siswa, perolehan nilai dengan kategori kurang 3 siswa.Kata Kunci:Teks Anekdot, Struktur, Kebahasaan.  AbstractThis study aims to determine the ability of class X students of SMA 2 Gadingrejo in writing anecdotal texts based on structure and language. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method in which to understand the phenomena about what is experienced by research subjects related to the ability of abstraction holistically and in a descriptive way in the form of words and language, in a special natural context and by utilizing various scientific method. The population in this study were 30 samples in one class, namely class X IPA 4 with a sampling technique in the form of cluster random sampling. Based on the results of the analysis of the ability of students of class X IPA 4 of SMA Negeri 2 Gadingrejo in writing anecdotal texts based on structure and language, scores were obtained with a high category of 2 students, acquisition of grades with a sufficient category of 25 students, acquisition of grades with less categories of 3 students.Keywords: Anecdotal Text, Structure, Language.

Introduction: Calcium is a main mineral that forms the hard structures of bone and teeth. The Government set standard of calcium intake by Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA). RDA of children aged 9 years old was 600mg/day and RDA of children aged 10-15 years old was 1000mg/day. The aim of this research was to know about calcium intake in children aged 9-15 years old in Bandung. Methods: The research method was descriptive method with survey technique. Sample selected by cluster random sampling technique, an amount of children of 609 children aged 9-15 years old which was 157 children aged 9 years old and 452 children aged 10-15 years old. Results: The result of this research shows that the average of calcium intake in children aged 9 years old is 435.47 mg/day and children who lack calcium intake is 86 children or 61.43%. The average of calcium intake in children aged 10-15 years old is 613.85 mg/day and children who lack calcium intake is 317 children or 71.72%. Conclusion: Calcium intake in children aged 9-15 years old is less than Recommended Dietary Allowances.

This study aims to develop teaching materials and to know the perception of PGSD students on teaching materials e-learning courses of instructional media. The research method used is survey method with previously conducted research development method. The population in the study were PGSD UST students who took the Learning Media course in the Even Semester of the academic year 2016/2017 with samples taken by cluster random sampling (random sampling by class). Data collection techniques were done by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis is done descriptively with table frequency distribution. The results showed that the perception of PGSD students on learning materials e-learning subjects of SD Learning Media included in either category. This is shown in the results of research stating that 81% of the respondents have a good perception.

The population of this research is all students in the eleventh grade of SMK Negeri 1 Meranti consist of 5 classes or 170 students. The samples of this research are the students of the eleventh grade consist of 2 classes. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. This research method used quasi-experimental design with factors 2 × 2. The instruments used are IPS result test for 32 valid questions of multiple choice with four options and Multiples intelligence questionnaires for 35 questions with 2 options (choice a and b). The technique of data analysis used is two ways ANOVA in significance level of  α = 0.05. The research result shows that: 1) the students’ achievement of IPS  taught by using  NHT learning strategy (average is 81.95) is higher than the students  who are taught by using STAD Learning Strategy (average is  79.10) ; 2) The students achievement who have interpersonal intelligence (average is 84.06) is higher  than the students who have intrapersonal intelligence (average is 77.64); and  3) there is interaction between NHT learning strategy and STAD learning strategy and multiples intelligence (intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence) towards students’ IPS achievement. Based on the students’ average mark it gives indication that students group who has interpersonal intelligence will be better taught by using NHT learning strategy and the students who have intrapersonal intelligence will be better taught by using STAD learning strategy.

This study investigates whether: 1) Google Classroom is more effective than the conventional method for teaching writing; 2) The high creativity students have better writing skills than those who have low creativity, and; 3) Interaction between teaching method and students’ creativity in teaching writing occurs. This quasi-experimental study was conducted at STMIK Pringsewu in the academic year of 2020/2021.  The sample of this research was two classes, the namely experimental class taught using Google Classroom, and the control class taught using a conventional method. Each class consisted of 20 students, so the total sample is 40 students. The sample was obtained by using the cluster random sampling technique. Each class was divided into two groups, consisting of ten high creativity students and ten low creativity students. The data of this research were obtained from a writing test to find out students' writing scores. Then, the data were analyzed by using 2x2 multifactor analysis of variance ANOVA and Tukey test. The results show that the mean scores of A1B1 are 82.40, A2B1 is 75.30, A1B2 is 68.70, and A2B2 is 69.70. This study implies that Google Classroom is an effective method in teaching writing and is suitable to be implemented to those having high creativity. Google Classroom: Media Berbasis Web untuk Mengajar Bahasa Inggris Penelitian ini menyelidiki apakah: 1) Google Classroom lebih efektif daripada metode konvensional dalam mengajar menulis; 2) Siswa yang kreativitasnya tinggi memiliki kemampuan menulis yang lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yang kreativitasnya rendah; dan 3) Terjadi interaksi antara metode pengajaran dan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini dilakukan di STMIK Pringsewu pada tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Sampel penelitian ini memiliki dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diajar menggunakan Google Classroom dan kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan metode konvensional. Setiap kelas terdiri dari 20 siswa, sehingga jumlah sampel adalah 40 siswa. Sampel diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Setiap kelas dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yang masing-masing terdiri dari 10 siswa kreativitas tinggi dan 10 siswa kreativitas rendah. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari tes menulis untuk mengetahui nilai menulis siswa. Kemudian data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis multifaktor varians 2x2 dan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata A1B1 adalah 82,40, A2B1 adalah 75,30, A1B2 adalah 68,70, dan A2B2 adalah 69,70. Hasil penelitian ini mengimplikasikan bahwa Google Classroom merupakan metode yang efektif dalam pengajaran menulis dan cocok untuk diterapkan bagi mereka yang memiliki kreativitas tinggi.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan kemampuan menggambar bentuk dan menggambar ornamen dengan hasil belajar modifikasi motif ornamen Batak Angkola. Objek yang digambar untuk menggambar bentuk adalah botol dan gelas dan motif yang digambar untuk menggambar ornamen adalah motif Batak Angkola. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 28 Medan dengan jumlah 240 siswa dan sampel yaitu kelas VII B yang berjumlah 30 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian correlational research. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan kemampuan menggambar bentuk dan menggambar ornamen dengan hasil belajar modifikasi motif ornamen Batak Angkola, yang dibuktikan dengan  Fhitung = 23,74 untuk dk= n-k-1 = 27 a = 0,05 Ftabel = 3,35 ternyata Fhitung >Ftabel (23,74 > 3,35). Besar hubungan antara kemampuan menggambar bentuk dan menggambar ornamen dengan modifikasi motif ornamen Batak Angkola berkorelasi yaitu 0,71, dan besar sumbangan (kontribusi) yaitu sebesar 51%.Kata Kunci: menggambar, ornamen, modifikasi, Batak Angkola.AbstractThis study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the ability to draw shapes and draw ornaments with the results of learning to modify the Angkola Batak ornament motif. The objects drawn to draw shapes are bottles and glasses and the motif drawn for drawing ornaments is the Angkola Batak motif. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 28 Medan with 240 students and samples namely VII B class which amounted to 30 students using cluster random sampling technique. This research method uses correlational research. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between the ability to draw shapes and draw ornaments with the learning outcomes of modifications to the Angkola Batak ornament motif, as evidenced by Fcount = 23.74 for dk = nk-1 = 27 a = 0.05 Ftable = 3.35 turns Fcount > Ftable (23.74> 3.35). The magnitude of the relationship between the ability to draw shapes and draw ornaments with modifications to the Angkola Batak ornament motif is correlated at 0.71, and the contribution (contribution) is 15%.
