This research was conducted in Harau District, Limahpuluh Kota Regency, West Sumatera Province which has 270,5 Ha wet tropical forest on its hill which serves as a biological source with watershed (DAS) that can be utilized by the community. Biological sources such as flowers, fern-type vegetables, medicines, and some types of freshwater fish can be consumed or economic resources for the community. The source of water is used to irrigate the fields, as a tourist attraction waterfall, and swimming pool. Wet tropical forests also serve as a home for germplasm that can be used for scientific research of herbal medicines. The threat to destruction of the wet tropical forests of Harau is primarily gambier cultivation that can cause deforestation. Further damage can be caused by the taking of ornamental plants and flowers that is biodiversity reserves. This threat to forest destruction will obviously have a negative impact because of the effects of the loss of some forest trees and the biodiversity reserves of flowers, especially in areas with large ecological and biodiversity functions. According to the authors observation of this forest damage is about 10% (approximately 27 Ha) of forest area. Based on the research results it can be seen that the Harau people still use local wisdom and petitih petitih, pantun, talibun, gurindam, and tambo. Minangkabau custom in preserving wet tropical forest. The spread of local wisdom values in the past is done through generations of bakaba (oral information), custom speech, maota in lapau (chats in the shop), and surau (mosque) tradition. Socialization of local wisdom values according to the present condition is utilizing information technology/social media. In modern society, social media has a very real role as part of everyday human life, especially the younger generation. Spreading the values of local wisdom to conservation of wet tropical forest Harau through social media is considered the best to do in addition to the existing tradition. The values of local wisdom are not obsolete values that must be turned off, but can synergize with universal values and modern values. These issues can synergize with the actualization of the local philosophy of the Minangkabau community. Therefore, the dissemination of the values of Minangkabau custom local wisdom to  preservation of wet tropical forest Harau can be done through social media.

The purpose of this paper is to study Donghak thought in relation to the idea of the current, post-modern era coming to an end. The concepts of “serving God within me” (sicheonju, 侍天主), “treating and respecting human beings as you would treat God” (sainyeocheon, 事人如天), “honoring the three” (samkyung, 三敬), and “Heaven eating Heaven” (icheonsigcheon, 以天食天), which are key to Donghak doctrine, will be examined. The meanings of “serving,” “treating and respecting,” and “harmony and balance” within the context of the aforementioned Donghak concepts will also be explored. In the present, post-modern period, humankind’s future is seen in a very negative way, with previous Utopian energies being considered exhausted. There are a multitude of “isms” and arguments in which reification and alienation within modern society are defined as omens of the end of this industrial era, which has corrupted and devastated human life. Today, religious movements are obliged to provide a spiritual drive that will lead their followers forward into a new era, establishing internal solidarity while associating with external elements. In this sense, the Donghak movement must put into practice the notions of “service, respect, and resuscitation” that are prominent in the ideologies behind the “serve God within me,” “treat and respect human beings as you would treat God,” “honor the three,” and “Heaven eats Heaven” concepts. In other words, in order to compete in the modern world, Donghak must concentrate on the belief that spiritual power can change society for the better.

In the modern world economy, an extremely important role is played by large international holding-type companies, often referred to as transnational corporations, financial, financial-industrial and other groups. The enterprises of such companies are located and operate in most countries of the world and have a significant impact on the main parameters of the functioning of a wide variety of markets for goods and services. With their economic potential, which often exceeds the corresponding potential of individual states, these companies are able to influence the development of market relations in both positive and negative directions. The so-called international cartel agreements, which generally mean mutual agreements between companies that often contradict the current legislation of countries, in order to establish a monopoly on certain goods (services) produced, control and capture markets, have a particularly acute negative impact on markets. In this regard, the article presents a brief history of the activities of international cartels and law enforcement practice to restrict their activities. The forms and key provisions of cartel collusion of enterprises of various industry orientations and spheres of activity are characterized. Some compensation schemes and forms of punishment for suppressing fraudulent actions of cartel participants are outlined. At the same time, there are shown situations when cartel agreements have a positive impact on the development of production, international trade and market relations. Despite strict antitrust laws, international cartels are created and operate in the markets, which should be taken into account by domestic companies when planning the results of work for them

The paper describes and justifies the possible dangers of artificial intelligence to human psychology. The manifestations of this danger in the modern world are illustrated by examples. Authors formulated and proved the hypothesis that under the influence of artificial intelligence on a person some changes in the ways of human thinking are possible. A mathematical model for calculating the influence of artificial intelligence on the psychological parameters of a person is proposed. In order to control the influence of artificial intelligence on society authors suggested to formulate specific goals for the integration of artificial intelligence into society, taking into account the negative impact of this intelligence on human psychology. Based on the formulated goals, a simple mathematical model is offered. This model allows for a quick numerical assessment of the impact society on the "psychology" of the robot and vice versa. Simple example of calculating this influence in modern society demonstrates the work of the proposed model.

Lockdown is considered to be the best of policies around the world to fight the deadly virus of COVID-19 which decimated hundreds of people in the last six months. However, this is not a cost-free measure. Billions of dollars worth of economic activities halted hinging upon these measures imposed by the governments of the countries. For instance, IMF predicted that the GDP growth will decline by 4.9 percent in 2020. Global trade is also expected to plummet by 27 percent in the second quarter of the year. In addition, paucity of recreational activities severely affects the mental health of the people. While imposing lockdown, both the cost and benefit should be analyzed to understand the real benefit of these measures on human life. This study critically examines the impact of the lockdown measures on mental health, and the economy of Bangladesh along with the efficacy of the measures on containing the virus. We found that the negative impact on the economy and mental health surpasses the positive impact of curbing the pandemic. In today’s modern society, television (TV) food programs exert significant influence in the domestic and international foodservice market. This study applied the elaboration likelihood model (ELM) to examine the information processing and decision-making activities of restaurant customers related to TV food shows that they watched. The ELM was expanded and tested by including perceived risk as a factor influencing attitude towards a restaurant. A total of 347 responses obtained from Korean residents, who had obtained information delivered by a messenger in a TV program and had subsequently visited that restaurant in the three months prior to the survey were analyzed. Results revealed that the information quality components significantly influenced attitude towards restaurants. For the peripheral route, while the credibility of the messenger had no significant impact, the vividness of expression had a positive impact on attitude towards restaurants. Performance risk was shown to have a negative impact on attitude towards the restaurant. However, time risk, possibly requiring long-distance travel or long waiting times for available tables played a positive role. The long wait times may be perceived well because many people wanting to eat at the restaurants is a positive sign about the experience. Attitude towards a restaurant positively influenced visit intention. Based on the study’s findings, discussion, implications, and limitations for future studies are provided.
