The papers of this 33th volume of the ZAS Papers in Linguistics present intermediate results of the ZAS-project on language acquisition. Currently we deal with the question of which functions children assign to the first grammatical forms they use productively. The goal is to identify grammatical features comprising the child's early grammar. This issue is investigated within the analyses of longitudinal data (cf. the papers of Gagarina/Bittner, Gagarina, Kühnast/Popova/Popov, Bewer) as well as within experimental research (see the papers of Bittner, Kühnast/Popova/Popov). The main topic of this volume is the acquisition of definite articles and verbal aspect. Bewer – who has worked as a student assistant in the project for a long time and wrote her MA-thesis on the topic of the project – investigates children's acquisition of gender features in German. Kühnast/Popova/Popov discuss the correlations between the acquisition of definite articles and verbal aspect in Bulgarian. Bittner presents results of an experimental study on definite article perception in adult German. Gagarina traces the emergence of aspectual oppositions in Russian and examines the validity of the 'aspect before tense' hypothesis for L1-speaking children. Additionally, the paper of Gagarina/Bittner deals with the interrelation between the acquisition of finiteness and verb arguments in Russian and German.

Purpose. Еxperimental substantiation of the effectiveness of biocompatible biodegradable hydrogels based on hyaluronic acid and chitosan succinate as a carrier of ranibizumab in antiglaucoma operations. Material and methods. Hydrogel drainage (HD) was obtained immediately before surgery. A solution of ranibizumab (0.23 ml) was mixed with a solution of hyaluronic acid dialdehyde (0.5 ml), then a solution of chitosan succinate (0.5 ml) was added. Experimental studies were performed in 12 (12 eyes) healthy rabbits. The first group consisted of 6 eyes – 0.187 ml of ranibizumab per 1 ml of gel. In the control group, HD was used intraoperatively without the addition of ranibizumab (6 eyes). Morphological studies were performed on 7th, 21st, and 42nd days. Results. In experimental studies in vitro and in vivo, it was proved that ranibizumab, administered as a part of 0.1 ml of hydrogel drainage in the antiglaucoma surgery area is released within 3 weeks and suppresses vascularization, scarring of the operating area, and preserves the intrascleral cavity. The optimal concentration of ranibizumab was selected-0.02 ml in 0.1 ml of gel. Conclusion. The safety and effectiveness of the use of hydrogel drainage with ranibizumab based on hyaluronic acid dialdehyde and chitosan succinate in anti-glaucoma operations has been proven. Key words: experimental research, hydrogel drainage, ranibizumab, glaucoma surgery.

This article represents the first step in filling a large gap in knowledge concerning why Public Assistance (PA) use recently rose so fast in Japan. Specifically, we try to address this problem not only by performing a Blanchard and Quah decomposition on long-term monthly time series data (1960:04-2006:10), but also by estimating prefecturelevel longitudinal data. Two interesting findings emerge from the time series analysis. The first is that permanent shock imposes a continuously positive impact on the PA rate and is the main driving factor behind the recent increase in welfare use. The second finding is that the impact of temporary shock will last for a long time. The rate of the use of welfare is quite rigid because even if the PA rate rises due to temporary shocks, it takes about 8 or 9 years for it to regain its normal level. On the other hand, estimations of prefecture-level longitudinal data indicate that the Financial Capability Index (FCI) of the local government2 and minimum wage both impose negative effects on the PA rate. We also find that the rapid aging of Japan's population presents a permanent shock in practice, which makes it the most prominent contribution to surging welfare use.

This study aims to (1) examine the effect of repeated tax amnesty knowledge on taxpayer compliance, (2) examine the effect of tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance based on threats to taxpayer compliance decisions, and (3) examine differences in taxpayer compliance based on taxpayer knowledge, on the re-implementation of tax amnesty and the effect of tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance decisions. This study used a 2 x 2 factorial experimental research design between subjects by using 119 participants from accounting students from the Faculty Economic and Busines Warmadewa University. The results showed that both the knowledge of taxpayers on the re-implementation of tax amnesty and the effect of tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance decisions can affect taxpayer compliance. Besides that too, there is an interaction between taxpayer knowledge on the re-implementation of tax amnesty and the effect of tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance decisions where if the taxpayer is in a condition not aware of the repeated application of the tax amnesty, taxpayers who also receive high tax sanctions will show the highest degree of compliance, compared to subjects in other situations. Hypothesis testing using a different test t test with the help of the SPSS 26.0 program. The expected research output is that the results of this research will be published in the proceedings of the Warmadewa of University Research Institute. Keywords: Recurring tax forgiveness, tax sanctions, tax compliance.

Abstract This paper reports on an experimental study that investigates the influence of the disparity between English and Arabic on second language acquisition, namely the phenomenon of the acquisition of the English dative alternation by Arab learners. The disallowance of certain Arabic verbs to occur in the double object dative structure causes difficulty for Arab learners to acquire English as far as the acquisition of the dative alternation is concerned. The experiment is devised to examine whether Arab learners are sensitive to syntactic and semantic properties associated with the English dative alternation. The experiment involved picture tasks with two structures: the prepositional dative structure and the double object dative structure. Overall, the results of the experiment show that the L2 learners failed to acquire the double object dative structure which does not exist in their L1. Based on these results, it is argued that L1 has an important effect on the acquisition of L2.

By the experimental research to the effect sucrose-natural gypsum as composite retarder on the performance of cement and concrete. This paper analyzes and summarizes the fact that the influence of this kind of composite retarder is more obvious than the slow setting effect of a single sugar or plaster. And the retardation of cement and concrete the mixing time is basically the amount of sugar a positive correlation. And on the other hand, it will not influence other physical properties.

There are many valuable wooden buildings in the world, because timber has been used all over the world as a building material for a long time. However, there is an issue that timber deteriorates due to various factors. Therefore, in order to preserve these valuable wooden buildings, it is necessary to appropriately repair or reinforce treatment. One of the treatments is the resin filling method. In this method, filling the resin in order to restore the strength into an internal cavity caused by deterioration. It has become clear that it is possible to recover the strength using this method, however, we are still conducting construction based on the rule of thumb. Therefore, authors examined the resin characteristics in order to inject the resin in stable manner and ensure strength recovery. Authors focused on deteriorated timber due to termites, because Japan has a very high amount of such type of timber. Authors reports the following four aspects of the characteristics of resin filling into timber. 1. The Area velocity is determined by the injection pressure, width of the gap, and viscosity of the resin. 2. The resin spreads concentrically in the gap of wood, but there is no regularity in the random gap like deteriorated timber due to termites. 3. Authors proposed a new coefficient for the application, of a theoretical formula to deteriorated timber due to termites. 4. Authors proposed a flowchart of resin filling method to perform stable construction.

Abstract The French non-null-subject parameter is set very early, irrespective of the number of languages acquired. By contrast, the acquisition of (in)definiteness marking takes place at age 11;0. For early parametrized grammatical phenomena, Tsimpli (Tsimpli, Ianthi Maria. 2014. Early, late or very late? Timing acquisition and bilingualism. Linguistic Approaches to Bilingualism 4(3). 283–313.) argues that age of onset (AoO) matters. For late acquired phenomena, language experience is crucial. We recruited 23 simultaneous and 34 early sequential L2 (eL2) learners of French (mean age 4;6). Using an elicitation task, we examined the production of French subjects and (in)definite articles. All children behaved similarly with respect to the (early) setting of the null-subject parameter. In contrast, (in)definite marking was sensitive to number of languages and age; AoO or input effects did not affect the results. Simultaneous multilinguals diverge from eL2 children, showing subject spell-out preferences, interpreted in terms of acquisition phases. We will discuss this result against a model of language acquisition in which the child proceeds in acquisition stages.
