A two-dimensional horizontal hydrodynamical model has been used to estimate the changes that a harbour road will cause in the water exchange of an estuary. The research area has been the Kokemäenjoki river estuary on the coast of the Gulf of Bothnia in western Finland. The numerical model has been verified on the basis of a regression model describing the water exchange of the estuary at present with a multiple correlation squared of 0.9. The factors having an influence on the water exchange are the wind, the sea level fluctuation and the river discharge. The changes in the water exchange have been considered during a dry spell, a flood period and an average year with three different cross-section areas of the road line. The accuracy and reliability of the estimation are found to be very satisfactory.

Coal is a combustible sedimentary rock formed from organic deposits of plant residues and carbon, hydrogen and oxygen elements. Modeling of 3D coal distribution and coal volume calculation plays an important role in the exploration because the result of coal volume calculation can be used as consideration for mining. This research uses 6 drill point and calculation of coal volume using cross section method with the help of image processing software that is rockwork16. The result of interpretation of drill point data in the research area were 5 types of rock layers with each rock volume is claystone (25.840.000 m3), claysand (230.00 m3), Coal (5.930.000 m3), carbonaceus clay and soil.

Abstract: Image processing is a method to perform some operations on an image, in order to get an enhanced image or to extract some useful information from it. It is a type of signal processing in which input is an image and output may be image or characteristics/features associated with that image. Nowadays, image processing is one among rapidly growing technologies. It forms core research area within engineering and computer science disciplines too. Image detection on road is primarily carried out with the help of camera with Raspberry pi 3 model b+ and stimulation software. The device is built in such a way that we can identify any potholes in the respective roads and able to rectify as soon as possible with the help of the device. The data signals shared by the device will be converted to text signals from which we can get it right. These devices are fixed at top of the lamppost which is located at the corners of the road from where the device is monitoring the road at 120 degree for weekly once respectively. Keywords: Image processing, Image detection on road, Raspberry pi 3, 120 degree

Nowadays, autonomous vehicle is an active research area, especially after the emergence of machine vision tasks with deep learning. In such a visual navigation system for autonomous vehicle, the controller captures images and predicts information so that the autonomous vehicle can safely navigate. In this paper, we first introduced small and medium-sized obstacles that were intentionally or unintentionally left on the road, which can pose hazards for both autonomous and human driving situations. Then, we discuss Markov random field (MRF) model by fusing three potentials (gradient potential, curvature prior potential, and depth variance potential) to segment the obstacles and non-obstacles into the hazardous environment. Since the segment of obstacles is done by MRF model, we can predict the information to safely navigate the autonomous vehicle form hazardous environment on the roadway by DNN model. We found that our proposed method can segment the obstacles accuracy from the blended background road and improve the navigation skills of the autonomous vehicle.

In this paper, we study the impact of city driveway occupancy on the urban road traffic capacity. Through the analysis of the scene of an accident case, we gained the vehicle statistics within a cross section in unit time and then did calculation and simulation. The work is concluded as a reasonable model of vehicle queue relationship evaluation.First, on the base of the definition of traffic capacity, statistics of the cars in the cross section before the accident, during the accident and after the accident have been respectively acquired in unit time (1 min). Then we employ Matlab to do the interpolation fitting, drawing the change of actual capacity of the road from the beginning time of an accident to the time when traffic resumes. The work comes to a conclusion that the change of the capacity at the cross section has a pattern of periodic fluctuation.

This paper discusses the characteristics of hydraulic and water exchange due to the wave action against vertical slit-type breakwaters. The theoretical solution of the reflection and the transmission coefficients for the breakwater models is compared with the experimental results. Furthermore, the water exchange discharge and the water concentration change through the gap of the permeable breakwater are examined experimentally. Finally the most effective geometry of the cross section is suggested for the breakwaters used here.

The deformation of the cold recycled mixture with foamed bitumen in a recycled base with an innovative three-component road binder and foamed bitumen is analysed. Numerical simulation results for the pavement constructed, based on laboratory test results, were verified against the data from the monitoring system installed on the road trial section. In addition, environmental effects, such as air temperature and humidity levels in the pavement structure layers, were considered. Thermal analyses were conducted to identify the thermal properties of the pavement materials under steady heat transfer rate. Determining temperature distribution in the road cross-section in combination with relaxation functions determined for individual pavement layers contributed to the high effectiveness of the numerical simulation of deformation and displacement in the recycled base and the entire pavement. The experimental method of identifying thermal properties allows a fast and satisfactory prediction of temperature distribution in the pavement cross-section.

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the income of the poorest families in the district Maesan the regency by using the method of analysis Regression (Regression Model Multiplier). Data used in this study are primary data derived from interviews, questionnaire method, the method of observation (cross section) with a research area in District Maesan regency. The regression results obtained from this study indicate that education (X1) and age (X2) has positive effect on revenues. The number of dependents (X3) and the type of work (X4) negative effect on revenue. The probability value of each independent variable is education (X1) of 0.0000, age (X2) of 0.0000, the number of dependents (X3) at 0.0000 and the type of work (X4) of 0.7765. This shows that in the study of factors that affect the income of poor families in the District Maesan Bondowoso, variables that influence the educational variables, variables of age, and a variable number of dependents who have significant influence on the income variable. Variable type of work does not significantly influence the income variable. Keywords: income, education, age, total family dependents and The job type

With the vigorous development of energy technology, the promotion and use of electric vehicles has brought new vitality to the development of ecological environment. According to the big data of taxi travel trajectory, we can get the idle rule of taxi operation time. Taking the idle time and location of taxi as the demand hot spot, taking the location points along the road network of the research area as the candidate points, this paper uses ArcGIS to do the location planning of charging station, so that the charging station can reduce the charging anxiety of taxi drivers, meet the charging demand to the maximum extent, and get the the minimum number of stations, and the quantity and distribution are taken as the site selection scheme..
